Forgive me guys as this report is more of a stream of consciousness thing unlike my other informative reports.

There is a story about the Coolidge Effect which goes like this: Years ago, President Calvin Coolidge and his wife were visiting a farm. As they made their rounds, the First couple became fixated on a majestic rooster with lots of hens surrounding it. The Farmer reportedly tells the First Lady that the rooster copulates 10 to 12 times a day. "Wow, Did you hear that Mr. President?...12 times a day". Without skipping a beat, the President retorts "Yeah, but it´s not with the same hen each time is it?"

I first heard this story when I was in the midst of my first marriage and couldn´t truly grasp its importance. After mongering actively for 3 years, I now get a chuckle every time I recall this story since it nicely encapsulates what my thoughts are about mongers and our hobby. At least for me, I realized from this trip that I´m an addict to variety, there is an inexplicable force within me that yearns for variety and conquest. It´s uncontrollable! Thank goodness we all don´t have to look like Mel Gibson to partake of these worldly, biological instincts. There are simply too many beautify girls and too little time.

As some of you know by my emails, I was on the verge of committing to a long term relationship with a bombshell novia I met in Cali from my first trip. We´ll use her intitials "M" to protect her privacy. This girl has everything a guy would want and more, smart, educated, and simply gorgeous and sexy. Here´s a pic of her at a dance hall in Cali.

The sex is cosistently Porno Star outrageous, M is one of the few gals that will accommodate my drive anytime and anywhere. I love the way this girl gyrates and gives me that seering look of sensuality, ecstacy and pain during sex (like in the Pornos). And given this, guys would think I´m stupid for waffling and havng my doubts. But I do.

I finally had a chance to spend 10 days with this girl, 24/7, in Cali and Cartagena, Colombia. She´s flying back tonight from Cartegena, but I´m staying a few more days. You will be blown away at how many great looking "hens" that are walking around all over CTG, it´s unbearable to experience. Despite my travels elsewhere, we always managed to keep in touch by phone or email, and things were getting heated and interesting real quick. This is the first gal in a long time that actually made me contemplate a long term relationship, notwithstanding my vows to never get tied down after a rough and tumble prior marriage. But once the talks started veering towards long-term plans, I feel myself in panic mode. What I realize is the monumental irony in all this: here is my dream girl but what the #"#$" am I doing about it. Yet, despite the great sex and GFE, I´ve come to the conclusion that I´m forever wired and jaded to seek out variety. I´ve long ago succumbed to the slippery slope of chasing variety and am having a difficult time comtemplating a relationship with one girl, despite the great sex.

Anyway, I´m going back to checkout the Cartegna venues for a bit and will try to post some pics and report on my impressions. There are a lot of great CTG reports on the who, what, where, etc. so I won´t need to go into any detail about this.

I don't think you're stupid for waffling and having doubts - you're smart enough to know what makes you happy as well as what doesn't.

A lot of people never find out what makes them happy - they only know what DOESN'T make them happy, so they spend their life being miserable.

Yes, you found your dream girl, but a dream girl for you comes with an expiration date. And it has nothing to do with her. She had a longer shelf life than most of the pastries you picked up at the bakery, but you're always going to want another morsel that's tasty and fresh.

You, my friend, are in constant need of something fresh out of the oven. And there's nothing wrong with that!

Wallstreet, interesting analogy and it is making me hungry, got to run to the nearest bakery after this post.

Merlin, as I said once before on one of your posts, once a monger always a monger. But then even I had the same thought after meeting my dream girl in Cali and I have been mongering for decades. Fortunately or unfortunately she was/is engaged and got her visa to go to Italy so it never materialized and I think it is best for me. However, now I have changed my tactics on how to meet girls and having a better success and fun than amigos.com. So I am heading back to Cali in September to find another dream girl.

WS: You´ve always been a great reality check for me, I should remind myself to keep the silver lining in mind. Part of gaining wisdom is to know what you don´t know and what makes you happy and what doesn´t. I mean most guys spend years attempting to find out what makes them happy and I seem to have found it.

Jkarp, you, WS and I know the pleasures of both SEA and Colombia and I´m glad we can compare notes...it´s invaluable to me. I made a weeklong stop in Cali, but exclusively to hang with my novia. Had tons of fun hanging out at the Salsa-Meringue bars on Ave. Sexta. CTG is actually a great place to check out, lots of girls from MDE and CALI here working!

Merlin, now that you have got me interested please fix the pictures so that they work. This feels like a tease.
