Tight Fit, a year and a half ago I did a sort of Central America tour. I started in El Salvador, then Guatemala followed my Costa Rica. In all honesty Guatemala sucked for me. I only hit a couple of casas but the prices were high and the women seemed to be real pros and have alot of attitude. Costa Rica also seemed pretty pricey although the women at Blue Marlin can be talked down. The casas were more expensive than that of El Salvador and the quality of rooms were no better. The strip clubs in Costa Rica are a total rip off..you might as well be at a strip club in the States. GFE was by far best in El Salvador. Great writeup. I too have always wondered about El Salvador.

I have a question (that I'm kind of ashamed I don't know the answer to already). On that sign I see the phrase "hacia abajo." I kept hearing that and "hacia arriba" on my last trip to Uruguay.

The best I could figure out was "hacia abajo" means going away from the center of town, while "hacia arriba" means going toward the center of town.

Am I right or wrong? Thanks...

You could be right. All I know is that literally translated, Hacia abajo means "going down" and Hacia arriba means "going up". I probably should have translated the phrase on the card, so here goes. 2 Cuadras hacia abajo, a mano izquierda, una casa cafe de dos plantas con puerta de vidrio, translates to....2 blocks down, on the left, a brown house of two stories with a glass door.
