LEAVING TOWN AND SECOND HAND INFO

So the night that I am wondering if I’m going to get laid I end up with a nice encounter and the night that there seems to be something behind every bush turns out to be a bummer. Back at the hotel that 2nd night I borrowed a pair of scissors from the desk guy to make a muscle shirt out of a temple t-shirt I had bought that day. When I threw the sleeves in the waste can the desk guy fished them out. He and the driver joked about how American man gets shirt, Cambodian man gets rags. The next morning I caught a plane to Phnom Penh. On the way out the door I tipped both the driver and the desk guy. The desk guy grinned and told me, “you nice man, you come again and no $5 guest fee for you”.

I have shared my Seim Reap stories with a number of other fellows and been told that the action is mainly in the Old Market Area. I’ve been told that there are a couple of Tourist Bars with girls that are not so “upscale” as Martini’s. “Angkor What?” and “Zanie” Probably best to find these bars in the daylight and then to return after 10pm. I guess that there are a few just plain whore houses in the Old Market also. A Motobike taxi driver could point these out.
