Here is the report on the Phuket portion of my Hong Kong and Phuket Trip. 2 nts HK, 5 nts in Phuket, then 2 nts HK.

Day Three (day one phuket) - arrive in the afternoon and go to hotel on Kata Beach (we rented a villa next to Kata Delight Hotel). have a few drinks and dinner at the villa (had a staff that cooked and cleaned for the six of us). went to patong beach (about 15 minute ride) and hit rock hard and playschool. took out three gals from playschool and went back for a pool party at our pad. sent one home due to bad attitude and spent night with the other two. paid each 2,000 baht plus the bar fine. sent them home in am.

Day Four - spent some time on Kata Beach and rested a bit by the pool. hit christin's massage about 3 and also hit the local pharmacy for a few items. back to villa for dinner and a few drinks. stopped by playschool again and got one of my gals from the previous night. hit the banana disco for about two hours. back to villa for some fun in the pool and then to bed. gal stayed the night (2,000B).

Day Five - beach/pool/rest again during the day. about 5 i went to christin's and took the same gal as the previous day. had dinner on the rock hard patio and watched all the gals strolling in getting ready for the night. spotted a solid one and made my way in about 30 min later. after i ordered my drink, i saw my "pick" paying her bar fine at the register. some guy had beat me to the punch. went back for more favorite at playschool and told her to pick two friends to join us. the three of us went back to crank the tunes and party at the pool. one got pissed off and i sent her packing (w/1000B). had a great time with the other two gals, sent them home in the am (2,000B each).

Day Six - same during the day, just relax. decided to pass on christins and try for the gal i'd spotted the night before at rock hard. got there about 9 and she was available. when i pointed her out to one of my buddies, i find out she was part of a group that had gone back to the villa the night before i got there. report on her was very, very poor. so, got a recommendation on another gal and asked her to select a friend to come along. she brought her sister - same mother, different father. Also, the two gals had the same name (which made that easy to remember). they were great fun, kept them all night but they made me cough up 4,000B each. i'd paid 3,000 before but never 4,000. oh well.....

Day Seven - finally had run out of gas. had to sleep in bed most of day. decided to go to christins for massage about 8 and call it a night after that. selected a different gal this time and brought a beer with me up to my room (only second drink of the day - which was well off my typical pace). the gal asked me to buy her a beer, which was a first for me in one of the massage places. then, the beer gets delivered with a pack of marlboro reds. i pay for both. this gal is a real party animal. we start the small talk and it turns out that she and my gal from the other two nights at christins share a room there. i do the bath and the raft thing. then finish up the beers with a smoke and tell my gal to forego the sex finish. instead, "please call up big boss man and tell him buick wants to take out #_ and #_ from 10 tonight until 10 tomorrow". the other day, i'd asked the rate and it was 4,000B per gal. (by the way, the massage charge at christins was 2,000B). so, now i was all set and seemed to have some more gas in the tank. my two buddies were shocked that i'd bought out from christins but what the hell. it was my last night and i'd worn out playschool and rockhard was kind of weak (i'll get back to that). back at the villa/pool, these gals partied like rock stars and really had a good time. it was great to see such solid attitudes. one even asked for a beer in the am but we'd finished up all in the cooler the night before.

Day 8 - left for HK which is reported herein.

here are my summary thoughts on phuket. i think this is my 6th or 7th trip. tough to remember. suffice to say i've had about 30 nights there and this was one of the worst times. it is offseason but i've been this exact time of year before. also been in low season (oct/nov) a few times. done the high season once (feb). the selection of chicks was pretty poor. also, didn't like being 15 minutes away from patong. i like being in the middle of the action. not sure i'm going to go back again. used to be so many go gos to choose from and now only two, playschool and rock hard. lipstick changed to lucky and it was filled with hogs (no customers in there). firehouse seemed to be gone. pink panther changed locations, had ugly chicks and no customers. couple others looked like katoey go gos not regular one's.

also, i hear the holiday inn doesn't allow gals as guests anymore. they were always a little tough on that but one of my gals said they had a problem with a guy beating up a katoey and really causing problems. now, reportedly, no gals can go to holiday inn. don't make plans to stay there unless you confirm your needs/desires can be had.

basically, i had to take two gals back each night to satisfy myself. the way i see it, two average gals can equal one hottie. one thing for sure, the average gals have a higher probability of having a good attitude (although the thai hotties have a better chance of a good attitude than the trophy gals in TJ).

I had a blast in Hong Kong and will probably do a four or five night stay there on my next trip to Asia, forgetting Phuket. Of course, BKK is an option as well. Been there once and had a great time.

$2,000 baht a night, or more? Is that normal for Phuket? Pattaya seems a lot cheaper with more choice.

Hey Scooter, it's great to see someone with a mature attitude about the price of third world pussy. Some guys seem obsessed with not paying $10 too much, Sure 4,000 baht is above the going rate, but hey, that's $100 US, what's it going to cost here or in Europe, three or four times that minimum

You can get 3 girls LT in any combination for that price in Pattaya otr 6 girls ST from a beer bar. Its not a matter of $10 but a 100% over the going rate and that's stupid IMO(no offense meant)

When I was in Phuket in January, some of the very hottest girls were asking for, and getting, 3000 - 4000 B, although some would come down if they were still available around 2 AM. The problem was they were almost never still available. This was during high season, however, and only applies to maybe 1 percent of the girls. The vast majority of girls that I spoke to would accept 1000 B, although they were not always thrilled to be going for that price. Even the ones that asked 3000 B would usually drop quickly to 2000, but there were a few exceptions, as I noted above.

As I noted in my report, I've got at least 30 days under my belt in Phuket. Only 5 in Bangkok (but i'll be switching to BKK now that Phuket seems to have died down). Never paid more than 3,000B for a gal and when I did, I felt like that included a tip of 1,000B. 80% of the time, I've been at 2,000B. I think the 4,000B problem came about due to:

1. the rock hard girl had been to our super villa before i got there (i came sunday, she was there on friday). so, she was smart and had a basic idea of what 4,000B meant to me. our villa had six separate bedrooms (w/bath), a private pool, at least six servants, and several terraces overlooking the southern edge of Kata Beach (w/steps to the beach itself). I'm sure I could have talked her down to 3,000B but I just didn't care that much. When I took her sister too, probably had another chance to negotiate but the savings on that compared to my total trip budget was not even worth the breath.

Unfortunately, I made that statement to myself a few too many times on this trip and my bank account reflects it.

2. the gals from Christins cannot be had for less than 4,000B. you negotiate with the big boss man, not the girls. when i was there in 1996, i loved one of the gals and tried to buy her out for the night. the guy told me 3,600B from 10pm to 10am and it only cost me 1,800 to get the massage. at that time, i just said fuck it, i'll come back tomorrow and do the massage thing again. my financial condition at that point was not good. this time, it was my last night and i really got a good vibe from my gal and also liked her friend who I'd enjoyed a massage with already that week (in fact, twice). At least this was "known material".

There is always discussion on overpaying on this board and I think it is appropriate in this instance. We should all make sure that the less experienced folks know what to pay and what not to pay. What I hate reading is the bullshit about the $6 cab ride in TJ going to $7. Or debating 1,500B against 2,000B. In this case, we are talking about double the typical amount. Certainly worthy of debate amongst us mongers.

If you can believe it, one of my buddies paid his gal 5,000B. She was "arranged" for him by another thai gal who was basically dating one of the guys i was with (had hooked up many times over the years). These two gals were classic. They acted like they weren't whores. I just laughed as I enjoyed in the pool and looked up at them fully clothed and me nude in the pool with my two gals nude other than the wet, white t-shirt. Gee, who would i rather hang with......

In any case, I hope to hook up with some of you boys in BKK in the future so we can meet and understand each other better in person rather than these boards. I'm looking at Oct/Nov for a BKK and will keep tabs on the trip buddies posts to see if we can rendezvous.

Buick, the 4000 Baht girl that I did from Rock Hard was without a doubt the most enjoyable companion of my trip, both in and out of bed. Also, the only girls I regret passing on was the stunner in the Shark Club my first night there who I refused to pay 3000 Baht. I had no opportunity to remedy my mistake, as she was occupied by the time I returned an hour later, and every other night of my trip. Hence, I was definitely not criticizing you, just trying to answer 694me's question.

I too had hoped for a November return to the LOS, this time including BKK and Pattaya, but the gods of finance do not seem to be cooperating.

don't worry boys. no offense taken at all on the topic of what to pay these girls, as they say in thailand "up to you". some of us take a view based on principle and some of us take a view based on the actual dollar amount. at the time i took these two sisters out i may have been operating under yet a third view - the singha view !!!!

one cannot dwell on a small slip-up. instead, i've been spending my time pricing out my next trip !!!! looks like $800 on UAL (upgradeable fare) for either hong kong or BKK for Oct 30 thru Nov 4. BKK will be cheaper once i get there but i really had a blast in HK. We'll see how things go.
