Cebu city in Cebu is mostly a place to spend a little time before venturing out into the surrounding area islands and beaches. It is a much more laid back atmosphere than Manila but the traffic is still a pain in the ass.

The malls are loaded with very pretty girls in Cebu City...probably the prettiest girls in the PI. A lot of mestizas with mixed Spanish and Chinese blood. If a person were to live in the PI, this wouldn't be a bad place to live. Much cleaner than Manila and the people are not total savages.

You can pretty much fly from anywhere to Cebu nowadays for about 3-4000 pisos round trip. It's a great jump off point to the surrounding Visayan islands.

The pics are of the Basilica de Santo de Nino church(very old) and of the cross of Magellan. Evidentally Magellan was killed her by Chief Lapu Lapu.

Old Magellan was actually killed close to the end of Mactan Island when he came back to get some more PI ass. A young jealous chief met him at low tide on the coral reef there. The Spanish were in full metal on the reef and the locals basically naked with large bolos. Mag's men turned tail and ran leaving him and several men at he mercy of Lapu Lapu when they saw how high the bar fine was going to be. There used to be a great spot to snorkel and fuck in little hidden coves back in the day if you didn't mind walking a little. Is it all hotels now???
