Prologue: Why Going To Rio?

Let me first introduce myself. I am French, I know, this is a kind of a disease but I take medicine, for example, I have been living in the US for 9 years. I now live in Paris (please forgive my broken english). I am in my 40’s. Separated from my wife, I had and have a couple of girlfriends. So why going to Rio ? I see three main reasons :

1) Many things happened in my life recently. Not last and not least too, an ugly marriage experience. I finally discovered that I was probably unable to connect sex with love. So maybe it was time for me to explore sex with pros. Before this trip, I never went with a professional. Yes, never.

2) Because of you, guys. I red almost all your reports on Rio, watched all your photos. I was very impressed by the tone of your writings and the scenes you described. I told to myself: this is what I am looking for.

3) Brazil has always been special to me since the first « real » book I purchased when I was 12 or 14 was a book about Brazil. It left a sensationnal impression on me for ever, the feeling that this country and its people are different. When I finished the book 30 years ago, I promised to myself I should go one day and check. So here I am (should I say that in this book no chapter was dedicated to thermas and garotas business, of coarse !!).

Let’s recap: first trip to Brazil, plan for first experience with professionnal girl, first time south of the equator. Can I do it by myself with no prejudice? No, I am heading to unknown territories. I need a guide, a middleman, a go-between. Thanks to Clubhombre and the last Artist’s report, I managed to contact Don from riotrips (riotrips@hotmail.com). For me, Don was the right man at the right place. Living in Copa, speaking portuguese, Don is an uncomparable introducer to Rio. Not only he can offer you nice appart/studios for rental, but he can also tour Rio with you day and night and introduce you to sweet girls in a very gentle manner. Don is a real entertainer and it was so good to cruise the Carioca nightlife with him and a bunch of his friends who some actually post on Clubhombre. A special attention also to his sister Rhonda who helps him to run the business with efficiency and good spirit.

DCool1, Great start - Keep the trip reports coming. Do visit Franks while you are there.

DCool1,
Welcome to Rio, one of the few cities which can compare favorably to Paris. I actually think the women in Paris may have a slight edge over the Brazilians, but what the Brazilians may lack in sophistication they more than make up for in availability. I am happy to see that one of my reports may have had a positive effect on you motivation. Enjoy mon ami.

Dude,
Franks is definitly on my list.

The artist,
If you are talking about pros, the scene in Paris is very ugly (this is the feed back I got), one of the worst in Europe. Rio, I think now, is the top.

Even though I've been to Paris often, it does not even come in the top 3 punter destinations in Europe.

Dcool1,

Actually I was referring to the women in general. Paris is full of stunning women although most of them will not give you the time of day. The pro scene is dismal. The street scene is a grotesque parody of prostitution and the attractive escorts are horrendously expensive. The only real acceptable talent I found was in a club which specialized in Russian and Eastern European girls. However these women were also overpriced.
I did have a memorable experience with a street girl who provided me with the most incredible BJ of my life (and it was covered), but this was a fluke. I love Paris, but it is a poor hobby destination. Perhaps someone could find a way to open a terma full of Brazileras in the Latin quarter or Le Marais. I know I would be a happy customer.

The artist,
I totally agree with you. The authorities in France do not know how to deal with prostitution. It is unlegal but unofficially tolerated(!)and customers are growing. Instability is the consequence: overpricing, criminal activities, cheating, ugly and provocative street scene which is unbearable for most of the population.
Paris was a paradise at the beginning of XXth century and in the 20's when Toulouse Lautrec was seeking models in Moulin Rouge and Scott Fitzgerald toured Montparnasse. Now it's over.
Nowadays, Toulouse Lautrec would have emigrated to Rio and spend good time in a terma.
French women can be very attractive but now they are almost all feminists or contaminated by the deadly feminist ideology. French men are having very bad times.
This is the reason why I am looking to spend much more vacation in Rio or in Havana (Cuba). For long weekends I am planning trips to Prague and will report to CH. This place seems interesting and we do not have much info on it.

Paris absolutely sucked for me. I unwittingly went into a clip joint in Pigalle several years ago. I ordered a drink and two girls immediately sat on either side of me and ordered drinks for themselves. I said to myself at the time I hope they are not trying to scam me because I did not OK those drinks. Anyway I chatted with them for about 15 minutes and then asked for a check and the waiter came over with a bil of 980 francs which at the time was about $180USD.
YOOOOOOOO! Wait a second here. If they had presented a check for 200 francs or so then I would have just paid and chalked it up to experience. But since they baldly tried to play me for a fool I became incensed. I told the waiter it was impossible that I would pay this amount. Forget it, I told him. He tried to intimidate me but I just pushed him out of the way and scampered down the stairs and got the hell out of there. Not only did I not pay for the girls' drinks, I wound up not even paying for my drink. Basically serves them right for trying to rip me off. Ahhhh, if I had only known about Rio at the time I would have never bothered with Paris.

Yes, Pigalle is the last place you should go in Paris. It is a tourist trap. And overall avoid Paris and France if you are looking for sex. I am so sad to write this :(

I was under the understanding that the Champs Elysees had some pretty working women; some working out of their car. Also good line up by street close to Arc of Triumph, Ave Foch maybe, going towards western suburb. Can you comment?

Working girls in Paris (street types) are mostly into drugs. For some of class, you have to know french, and spend .............

I normally take the last flight or train back, rather than spend the night in Paris if I can help it. It is a great place to eat.

Dis thread seems to have gone astray - perhaps it should be renamed paris in the springtime :)

Many hotels in SP seem to have French names.

YT,
it was just interesting to make a comparison between heaven (Rio) and hell (Paris), between a wise position and a desastrous hypocrisy regarding prostitution.
Dude, you are right, a lot of junkies on the streets and even on the Champs Elysees. For those cruising the place in their BMWs on Av. Foch and near Arc de triomphe, I will not care very much: they are expensive, not very friendly, it is strictly business (smile and nice attitude are not included in the price).
BTW, a lot of Brazilian transvestites around Bois de Boulogne. Poor guys, I can't imagine how they feel during winter!!!
