It's been well over a year since my last trip to Manila and Angeles City, and I was reminded, in the most pointed way, how much I fun this place is and why guys have been saying for generations that "I Shall Return" to the Phillipines (my apologies to the great general). I can easily say that the Filipinas are the biggest partiers I've come across in my travels and the GFE thing (at least in Angeles) is still alive and kicking as my buddy MongerX and I will attest. I'm in Angeles now, but I thought I'd begin my short trip report on the latest.

I spent the first few days in Manila, but am spending most of the time here in Angeles as MongerX's wingman. More on that later.

MANILA

Manila is still the polluted, traffic congested Third World metropolex that I remembered it to be. I stayed at the Heritage Hotel, which is across from the EDSA entertainment complex. Although it's close to EDSA, it's a killer trying to cross the big boulevard to get to EDSA and even more difficult to walk back across after imbiibing a few San Miguels. I much prefer the Oxford Suites Hotel in Makati, on Burgos street.

I did however, spend a lot of time at the EDSA complex this time around. The drink pressures seem to have subsided, but the best part was that I, along with 2 newbies, had the entire damned complex to ourselves. There was some incredible talent at the EDSA complex, but words can only do so much. So here are some pics of my LT's

Manila is still very expensive, EDSA's barfine is 1K and the girls expect 1500-2000 pesos as "tip". Moreover, many girls were all eager to leave after one or two sessions. I'd save my money and energies for Angeles City where it's still a damned bargain these days.

This brings home the point of how much more beautiful the Manila girls are over the AC girls. These two come from my favorite two EDSA bars but I have never even come close to barfining girls this hot from those bars....damn.

There is no comparision as far as the beauty contest goes, but then again MNL is nearly 3x as expensive.

I do enjoy AC more as I find the bar atmosphere much more business like (higher pressure, less jovial) in MNL. I've always been very pleased though with my MNL barfines. In addition to looks, they have given me some of my best sessions in terms of performance. I like to spend a day in EDSA when in PI.

Thanks Blazers and DM. There were at least 5 or 6 hotties in the bigger EDSA bars, all eager to hook up. Bandidos on Burgos was hopping with hotties as well. I never miss a chance to hit Manila while in the Phillipines, I've always had some great luck here. Interestingly, I've noticed that the drink pressures were far less severe this time around in many of the EDSA go-gos.

Although generally speaking I've found Manila girls were better looking, on this trip (I'm in AC now) the talent here must be seen to be believed, and not just the bigger bars like Blue Nile and Neros. MongerX and I pulled stunners out of the smaller go-gos and perimeter bars and there were plently of cuties at most bars or just walking around.

Merlin, how much did the Heritage cost you per night? I stayed at Copacabana next door on my one night in town, and was relatively happy with the place.

Heritage is so big, I can't imagine anyone hassling you over guests, as people are constantly coming and going in that place, particularly to the casino.

The LA Cafe is in a different part of Manila called Ermita, about a $4 or $5 cab ride from Burgos st.

Nastyworld, Fooledagain1 is right, LA cafe is about $5 from Heritage, about 30 minutes from Burgos, depending on traffic. The Oxford Suites is literally in the middle of Burgos street and I found it to be pretty girl friendly. Also, Heritage had two computers for internet access that were usually busy. Burgos has more internet cafes, change booths, etc.

Porker: I got a special webrate for $60.00 per night for a superior (Asiahotels.com), I don't see the special anymore. Heritage is big, and more tourist oriented than I like. They charge you for a lot of things so I wasn't happy with that. Although they are girl friendly, they have a guy at the elevator checking girls in, they claim they charge you 500 pesos for 2 guest per night but they didn't actually charge me that fee. I'll have to check out the Copacabana nextt time.

Bkkguru, you definitely need a cab from oxford suites to EDSA, it's about a 20 minute cab ride, again depending on traffic. The EDSA girls wanted between 2500-3000K LT. But most girls I talked with prefer not to do LT at EDSA I noticed.

Crazier, I know based on my talk w/MongerX that the Filipinas in SIA are not the top shelf talent. If you haven't already, you should definitely check out Manila and AC, especially since MongerX and I plan on spending a heck of lot of time there. :-)

AndresB, just do it my friend, life is too short.

A 1k bar fine and a 2000 peso tip comes to about $55 US. You get to sleep with those beauties for an entire nite for only 50 bucks. Wow. I'm used to Rio rates were comparable youth and beauty will run twice that. I've never been to the Phillipines but damn, these reports are making it a priority.

Were these two girls friendly? Did they give a gfe type experience?

I used to do Manila together with Cebu twice a year for many years (more than 15yrs ago) so I know exactly what you are talking about although I have never been to AC itself.

Back then, most of AC was in Manila city in those days (e.g. the original Firehouse place) before much of it moved to AC after the clamp-down.

Edsa is a relatively new development and I only visited once then preferring Quezon City.

Burgos Street's Jools used to have a really great professional dancer (she was the one that did all the creative shows then) winning my wallet's contents all the time!

Cebu used to be great until the Nipponese and Koreans invaded and pushed up prices beyond affordability.

I will swing round AC one of these days once Jetstar starts flying that way and the trips become competitively more affordable in terms of airfares.

Have you ever been to Quezon City in Manila?

That's more local in terms of action and right up your alley if your eyes and mine are the same looking at those two ladies you posted right at the beginning of this thread!

There used to be these types in large numbers in some of those places there but I have lost touch as its more than 15 years ago and things do move very quickly in this business of SIN.

If you have time, when in Manila, do some groundwork on Quezon City! You won't regret it if you find them!

PORN000, I can easily say that every one of the girls I've been with this trip has been GFE and more. You'll find more girls 18-20 in SEA generally than in anyplace in SA. Genuinely nice girls who, for the most part, need to support their family (i.e. parents and siblings). If you have any troubles, which I hadn't, a mere statement that you'll report them to the mamasan gets them in line real quick. I've also found that in RIO, if you want girls in their late teens, it's tougher to find. Perhaps that's one of the reasons I prefer Colombia where you can get lots of 20 y.o. for about the same Phillipine pricing. Lots of GFE's in Colombia. I'll post more about AC, which blew Manila away later.

CRAZIER: I missed out on Quezon City and I hope you can direct me to some good places. I've heard there are some great places near the domestic airport, but didn't have too much time to check it out. If you have any specific places in Quezon City, it would be great if you could post in the Phillipines section or I can check it out next trip.
I'd also love to hear your take on Cebu city, the reason is that some of the really pretty women I met on this trip in AC were from Cebu. I'll post their pics later. If these girls are representative of that region, I'm be there in a NY minute.

PornOOOO, $55 is Manila rates, go to AC for better GFE and $18 allnighters.

In AC while the Barfine is $18, I generally tipped 500 peso or $9 on top of that for girls who truly provided LT service. I am sure some of you will bitch that I overtip, well to that I say to each his own. Also, I spend freely for lady drinks and go barhopping. But then again when I book a girl in AC I like to have the whole night on the town followed by a good romp package, rather than just a romp.

500p tip in AC is certainly not out of line if the girl stays until you ask her to leave and works hard to make you happy. Of course it can also be considered generous. There's nothing wrong with being generous.

Larryc7, it rained most days, but only for short periods. I believe it's the rainy season. It's hot and muggy right now as you may know. I definitely think it's time for a return trip.

DM: the change booths were giving out 56.05/$, which is still better than a year ago when it was about 54-54 pesos/$. I think the Phillipines is the only place where the plummeting dollars has not had a huge impact.

MX/Porker: 500 pesos is the top rate I'd pay for tip, I usually pay 200-300 and the gals seem happy with that, afterall, they tell me they get paid 150 pesos/day as their daily salary from the bars.

ok so AC barfine = $21.42 if you can get that rate in AC.

According to my calculator, 1000 peso bar fine divided by 56.05 = $17.84

umm bf standard is now 1200.

+ I don't think many folks are going to find 56+p/d in AC.

My last day in AC I got 56.05 and first day (airport) was 59.95. I think it fluctuated each day between 56.05-55.50.

That's incredible cuz the currency hasn't dropped below 56.43 in the last 3 months and that's at the bank direct rate (not consumer). Currency markets have it 56.08, which again is the currency trading rate, not consumer exchange rates...

If your getting 56+ that is a gift or your buying fake cash

DM, the PI exchanges WORSHIP dollars and give extremely attractive rates to get their hands on them. I completely agree that it's weird compared to other exchange markets in other countries (especially the exchange 'floats' here in Mexico), but the rates for US dollars given out in the Philippines are excellent.

Nope, standard barfine is not 1200, a few of the bigger bars went to 1200, the smaller bars are mostly 1000, it alright there in Merlin`s report.

If they're selling the peso below what the currency market is by 5%, it sounds like I can retire now-- well at least while I'm in PI.

I understand that at least a dozen bars are charging 1200 pesos for a barfine in AC. That's a significant number.

Merlins, how do you find stunners all over the world? I definetly need to learn that from you. I have somewhat high standards and I usually get what I like but it costs me a lot, and I mean a lot, more than what you are spending there in Manila and AC. I have now given up on the bar scenes, go gos, etc. and now get girls through other means, modeling agencies, old contacts, and/or escort services. I guess even though I know the girls I get in SEA are all working girls but I still think they work a lot less than the others. A lot of girls I get usually have a real job and do this on the side. Oh well, need to rethink and reconsider the way I play.

I'm not sure where this is going, I was just making the point that categorically stating LT barfines are running 17-18 bucks is a tad misleading. However, even at 22USD, it is the best deal on the planet!

As for the currency conversion I was getting around 54p/usd up until 2 weeks ago, which jived with what I saw in the currency markets. If folks are really getting 56+ now awesome, let me know where and I'll cashing in when Im back in another two weeks!

JKARP: I got real lucky this trip, I like to peek into a lot of bars and to wait patiently to hook up with what I like. Let me know how those agencies work out and if you find any more good ones in Colombia. I still think alot about our mutual friend in CTG "J", she is a real knockout.

DM: as you may know, the best places to get the better exchange rateS are the change booths near Margaritaville and JJ's. There's a bunch of them. I prefer a new one in front of the newly opened Apartelle/Conveniene Store called "Nayala sp?" (2 or 3 blks west of Camelot). As I noted, the rates can fluctuate a lot in a day or two, from 55.50 to 60.05. In Manila, if you go near the Robinson Mall, there are change booths around the perimeter of the malls advertising 57 p/$! (didn't try it though). There's no rhyme or logic to this exchange thing, I think the Filipinos just love hoarding the dollars.

Although many of the Fields Bars are 1200 now, I think 1200 BFs can be avoided if a guy focuses on the Perimeter bars and smaller go-gos. I think in my trip, I only paid 1200 twice. Regardless, the key point is AC BFs are still the best bargain around.

rex: AC makes even the lightest wallet feel like bricks. I've literally bought out a bar (well the ones worth buying) and partied all night for around $400.

Hey Rexx, yea, $18 allnighters, imagine ? Sometimes allnighters turn in to all next dayers as well, all for $18, it`s insane. You should consider expanding your horizons, much different than Rio, in some ways better, IMHO everyone should experience AC at least once.
