Firstly NZ is not a place to go for the pussy, or sun. However the scenery is awesome, and if you like outdoor sports, it's the place to go.

I toured NZ about a year ago, and while away from prying eyes, I tried out the local working girls. It's a while since I was there, and I can't remember prices, but they were comparable to Germany.

My next stop was in Wellington. Again, the parlours are easy to find. I cannot remember the one I tried, but there were two ordinary-looking local girls available. I took the friendlier-looking one. It was a similar price to New Plymouth. The room was a small cubical, and not conducive to a nice time. I was over-tired from a long drive, and the result not satisfactory. However, the girl was very patient and very friendly, and I wouldn't criticise, apart from the very strict adherance to everything with a condom. BJ with condom to me is a waste of time!

In summary, New Zealand's a place with an open attitude to working girls. The local girls I found were open honest and very friendly. There are a number of Thais and Philipinos too, though having just passed through SE Asia, I didn't try them.

I must agree with Nighthawk, NZ is not the place to go for sex. I do occasionally (as I have to due to living here), but usually favour waiting until I can get to Asia.

New Zealand does have a fairly relaxed attitude towards prostitution, but many of the girls here have an attitude to go with it.

The best option is in Auckland to buy a copy of Truth (available in most dairys, supermarkets and petrol stations).

There are hundreds of freelancers advertising in there, as well as Massage Parlours. Generally pretty good experiences mostly with Asian girls, mostly freelancers from the pages of Truth. Some of them tend to rush you through it so they can move on to the next customer similar to many of the Orchard Towers girls if you take ST only. I have had the opposite, paid for two freelancers NZ$120 for an hour, and stayed all night (at no additional charge).
