I decided to take a break and get out of Buenos Aires and get some beach time. I booked a last minute ticket to Rio. I arrived the other night and I have been resting up. I do have to say the quality has gone way way down since I was here last year. I went to Help 2 nights ago and really struggled to find a cute girl. I saw maybe only 2 hot girls. Makes me damn glad I donīt live here. God bless Buenos Aires because after coming to Rio it makes me realize how much I love the classiness of the city there. The fireworks sucked. There was no breeze so the smoke just built up from the fireworks and hung around so you could not even see the fireworks.

I went to Help and I ran into my buddy Jack Danials from WSG. I met him in Buenos Aires and we hung around in Help really late but the girls all sucked. I was in Rio from 25 November till 19 December, my 7th trip in 2 years time. I went to Help almost everynight. There were VERY few goodlooking girl there and theire attitude sucked.

Hey fellas. Iīm not just talking about at Help. There are over a million people on the streets of Copacabana for the fireworks. Over half of them are female. The dynamics of Help is completely different from other clubs, because, again, atleast 70% of the male clients are there the first time while about 90% of the girls are there almost every day in the week. I don't think that any of us are going to bail on Rio, it's just that some of us will probably cut the more pedestrian (easy and well-known) monger routines out. No more Help, less Luomo and 4x4, but more time on the lesser-known termas, apartments, private agencies, etc.

It makes it tough to deflate some of these girls heads during Carnival.

I do not plan on being at Carnival in Rio for 2005 but instead will be there the Friday immediately after Ash Wednesday. You still get a chance to be with the visiting beauties and he regulars come back all happy from there own little Carnival adventures. Negotiating is alot easier also.

I agree with the rates listed above (in an ideal world), but I having spent some time in rio, I have never met a 10 who would go with you for $45-60 which, using current exchange rates of around 2.70 equals about 120-160 reais. In my experience, it is extremely rare to get a 9 or 10 at help or barbarella for less than 300 (plus a 60 reais bar fine at barbarella). Getting 6-8's for 200 at help is more common. Where are you getting 10's for 120-160 and what techniques are you using?

Help sucks. In my past 60 nights in Rio, I have never gone inside Help. I hope you still enjoy your trip GodFather, in spite of having met up with Hemp.

If I'm feeling like a late night quickie, I might go the patio bar out front, and look for the girls that are leaving alone at closing time. They're usually easier to charm into a quickie for $50-100R (17-35USD)

As far as techniques are concerned I rely on what Ben Franklin once said "Honesty is the Best Policy". I have actually told girls that I'm not rich but understand that neither are they. it is my understanding that solarium splits their sat and sun crews whereas luomo runs a 7 day schedule with girls off during the week. mon to thur can rock at solarium. seen some lean sat and suns as you experienced especially after a holiday.

I found the Banco do Brasil on Av Copa and Bolivar (katty-korner from the movie theater and a few doors down) to be the only bank with a R1,000 max... but my friend found two gas stations (Ipa, Leblon) that each gave R1,000 with no ATM fee.

Using last year as a frame of reference....I was there about 10 days after Carnaval and the crowds were pretty well gone. Part of my reason for choosing to return on 2/21.

Wow , I was wondering when sooner or later someone would post about the poor quality in and outside of Help. I've been to Rio twice in the last 6 months and noticbly the qaulity has decreased drastically. Not only were there few hotties to choose from but most of the girls in general were real sharks that one would be advised to watch out for. I remember 2 years ago meeting girls in Help that were real part-timers working there to pay for college bills or whatever. Now a lot of the girls there seem to be hardend pros intent on sucking your dollars out of your wallet with as little amount of work as possible. Stop crying guys. Its just like any other mongering city in the world.
