Ok, before I forget, I sent Hombre over video clips of the AC pool party featuring the #7 girl who, believe it or NOT, did NOT WIN the Ms. FIELDS Contest. How @#4@# is that? The winner was a MAJOR UGO from Voodoo who is rumoured to have slept her way to the top. Gotta find out how I can become a judge in next year's contest as they were getting a lot of "attention" from the contestants. Be warned that the tickets sell fast to these events and it’s a bit pricey at 1500-2000 pesos. But you get this incredible buffet, all you can drink beers, and the fun is virtually guaranteed. Also, if you're ever in AC, try to go to an SOB or Dog House party as you’ll meet a lot of great expats and tourists. I found that most of the AC guys are very cool and well grounded, which doesn't come through in some of the posts on some of the sites.

Final thoughts.

AC is not for everybody, you kind of run out of things to do after awhile, especially during the day. But if you’re like me, you can make for a fun time by just hanging out with the girls. Here are some things that are singularly unique about the Mongering scene in the Phils.

1. To a large extent, I cannot emphasize how great it is to actually communicate and joke with the girls.

2. Most Every Girl sincerely Wants to Hook Up with You. I won’t bore you with all the personal melodrama that took place this trip, but I had at least 5 girls wanting to genuinely and sincerely link up with me, and to a large extent, I gave each of them a run for their money until I settled on a sweetie.

3. I was still getting an excellent exchange rate, 55.60-60.00 pesos per dollar. The peso here does not seem to be influenced by the plummeting dollar (in fact, this year’s exchange rate is better than last year’s). The peso is one whacked out currency and it simply adds to the fun when your dollar goes that much further than anywhere else.

4. Although I still think generally, the Thai girls are prettier, I was simply amazed at some of the gems that I pulled out of many of the go-gos/bars this trip, even when ½ the town was emptied out by visits home by the girls. My thoughts are this about Thai girls and Filipinas, for the Filipinas, you will see either but ugly girls or absolute stunners, not so many average looking ones IMO; as to Thai girls, you will see more that are generally pretty.

5. I keep saying that AC is a place where you can party every night with whichever girl(s) you want. Every girl I met wants to go “bar hopping”, discos, or karaoke. There are lots of parties for us guys as well, like the pool parties, body painting contests, SOB and DOG house parties, etc.

MISC: Additionally, if you ever get a chance to be in Angeles during New Years, as the display of fireworks was unbelievable (and oftentimes out of hand). Also, to get you more rejuvenated, I’d recommend a trip to Manila or a night over coming to or going from AC as Manila has a lot to offer.

All In All, it took me awhile, but I think I found a destination that suits me nicely.

Excellent report my friend, and you do indeed have an eye for the ladies. That Blue Nile girl is especially sultry. I agree with most of your bottom line: AC is a super fun place, there are a lot of really great girls, and it is an unbelievable value.

Also, I love that the scene is wiiiiiiddddddeeee open and you get a great girl to guy ratio. After the sausage fests I saw in the Pattaya -- with the inevitable hustling pro attitudes that come with such unfavorable ratios -- I can't wait to get back to AC.

The naysayers I am sure will chime in. That's OK because as you say AC ain't for everybody and if everybody did come it wouldn't be the same.

Love your BNE girl but she does look much better in the outfit....thought she had braces for some reason. Check out my last trip report and you will see your Stampede beauty as well, although you take much better pics of her. Me thinks you and I would have a problem barhopping together as we would pick the same girls. Discriminate eyes think alike.

Oh yeah, I commented about the ugo winning on the other board as well and got no response. I think anyone associated with Voodoo should be banned from being a judge as they like to reward their ugo veterans with prize money so they can get free BJ's later. She got hometowned. I mean the Voodoo girl didn't even have tits.

HeHe Blazers, as I always said, we absolutely do have similar (or exact) tastes in girls, but it's difficult imagining cockblocking another Hombre when there were soooo many beauties to go around -- we'd take turns, right?

As for the Voodoo bias, I thought the bias was apparent, the organizers gave a plug to Voodoo whenever possible and that bar fielded the most candidates (most of them ugly). Ironically, although it was called the MS. FIELDS contest, there were no girls from the BN, BNE or affiliated go-gos at the competition and, as you know, those girls would have blown away the competition.

BTW: the BNE girl does have braces, but interestingly, she'd take them off while sleeping???

Also, FYI, I spent a good deal of time at the Las Vegas go-go (near BlueBerry) and they had some cuties there. The set up and music is very nice also.

merl- glad you had a great new year! AC is a great place to party, when u going back? I guess I have to go visit my AC gf sometime soon before she grows irate.

mx- pattaya a sausage fest? The one reason I love pattaya is that I can find a hottie any time, day, hour if so inclined... Batam struck me as much more of a "sausage" party due to 1) far less # of hotties and 2) higher proportion of men:woman. This is not a slight against Batam-- as I finally found a gal that was great-- it just took me 2 days. Perhaps this was due to me being a neophyte there... I'll increase my sample size come March.

DM, sounds like you had a great time as well. I was really hoping you'd swing by AC this trip as originally planned, but I can appreciate the scheduling surprises you must have had. I'm gonna try to get back to AC as soon as I can, but not sure exactly. Hopefully, we can all be there when MX and Porker are in Town and make it a ClubHombre reunion of sorts :-) I'll keep you posted.

DM, Should have qualified it as sausage fess at the GO Go bars. Still very good girl to guy ratio in the beer bars. But the quality of lookers and performers there is suspect in my experience.

Batam is definately a (Chinese) Sausages fess when it is a holiday weekend in Singapore. On such weekends the booking joints get picked over very early, but still at the discos the numbers of punters to putas is quite good. There is just a lot of non-punter male crowding the place up.

For whatever reason, my idiosyncratic experience in Pattaya is that after 13 days in the town I have not banged anything remotely attractive. Certainly this isn't the experience I observe you and others have. But in that town whenever I turn around and see what is AVAILABLE to me it ain't too purtry. So I like Pattaya alot, but it certainly doesn't comes as easy to me as it does others. For some reason I find much more attractive women fall in my lap in AC and Batam, than Pattaya.

Yes- I had a great time in Batam once I found the right bed mate. I'm in SEA Mar 9-30, with dates very open (only bos-bkk booked). I'm thinking of 4 days batam, 12 days pattaya, 5 days AC or something like that.

ha, took the words outta my mouth DM. I'm in the mist of planning a return trip to pattaya-indo at the end of feb or early march for 2-3 weeks if all goes as planned. I'll most likely add a side trip to AC as Merl sold me on that place earlier tonight.

I would prefer to be based out of bkk for generally cheaper flight options. Also since BKK-SIN-MNL is following a path of sorts, it is easy for me to book a bkk-mnl ticket with a stopover in SIN.

Hehe, Gregorio, all very good, always wondered why they would call a boxing match a "thrilla"; I can see why they'd call it the a Rumble in the Jungle for instance. The inescapable conclusion is that Ali must have been a fellow monger and "trained" for the big fight in AC. What a workout.

I LOVED Manila, and had one hell of a time dragging myself away from its many delights and temptations. Spent a total of eight nights in the big city, would have preferred about four weeks. I was treated friendly and fairly and felt really comfortable there. Even had a local guy show me around Quezon City.

Did manage a short, two-day trip to AC, which I of course enjoyed, although it was kinda different than how I had it pictured in my mind--a lot more urban and, believe it or not, cleaner than I thought it'd be.

Like so many have said, it's mind-boggling the numbers of hot sweeties at that place.

Gotta give a big thumbs up to Santos Street.

On the way over, got to spend a free night at a 5 star hotel in Nagoya, Japan too, plus a $200 travel voucher due to a three-hour delay leaving the US. There is serendipity.

The next morning on our flight to Manila, I found out that instead of being a good boy and sleeping in, one Pinoy decided to "paint the town" in Nagoya and dropped about $250 USD in only four hours, talking to Philippina chicks at some kareoke bars around the corner from the hotel. Man, you can't fix stupid...

Gregorio, I knew you'd like the Phils, although 2 days in AC is way too short IMO. But I can totally relate to how difficult it is to pry youself away from Manila and all it's allures. Hope you can post some more thoughts and pics, especially about Manila, when you have time.

I don't think my trip merits a report, as it's all pretty much been said before. As a matter of fact, the days and nights all started to blend together. You know how it is.

I did have the occasion to meet the former mayor of a large US city at a bar on Burgos one afternoon. We had a nice chat. He had traveled the Philippines many times over, so I was able to get valuable insight and info from this very nice man, who was surrounded by a couple of beautiful young hotties and obviously feeling no pain.

He almost talked me out of even going to Angeles. He'd been there many times and said everything I could possibly want was right there in Manila under my nose. Turns out he was right, although I still am glad to have taken the trouble to see Angeles. I would have been pissed as hell if I wouldn't anyway.

I like the PI a lot better than Thailand. (I don't dislike Thailand). I do like Manila better than AC, but hopefully will be back in both places for longer stays this summer.

I didn't have anyone holding my hand, and walk me through the process, so I learned on the fly. I will be much better prepared for the next trip, even though I rarely felt I was "stiffed" out of money or treated unfairly.

Somebody gave a GREAT tip about taking Ambien to make the long flight disappear. I just want to say "thank you, thank you, thank you." I took three about two hours into the flight home, drink two Saporro Japanese beers and the next thing I know the pilot comes over the loudspeaker, saying "we are now beginning our initial descent into Detroit."

When I got into St. Louis I felt tanned, rested, and ready to visit some bars with hot chocolate on my side of the river. Just trying to soothe the post Asian depression...

Gregorio, I'm with you regarding Manila, I love the place a lot and always seem to have a good time there. As you know, it gets expensive real quick though.

As for Thailand, I still rate it tops IMO for overall experience, I guess it's the novelty and differences of the Phils that appeals to me at this point.

Do give AC more attention next trip. Not only is it the best bargain in terms of p4p cost, it's a helluva alot of fun if you hookup with the right girls and wingmen.
