I finally sent Dao home and overcame LoS's grip in order to escape a few days early to visit Batam.

This brief report details some of the impressions, logistics, and experiences I had on this maiden voyage.

Much thanks are extended to Epi and MX. Epi never stopped prodding me to "get my ass on the plane" and he also made for a entertaining tour guide. To MX for all his posting/sharing valuable insight on the scene.
