I had a couple of days on my hand while I was in Arizona last week (A LONG trip from my current home!), so I decided to return to AP. It has only been a bit more than thirty years since I last was there. Unfortunately, it was in the middle of the week, a known major problem. I arrived about 5:30 PM, and checked into Motel 6. Clean and cheap.

Crossed over the border about 7, then took a cab to La Zona. Cabby was a good guy, and agreed to come back about 9. First stop was El Pariso. Completely dead, even the bar tender was AWOL.

A note about La Zona. One or two clubs have closed over the last 30 years. Other than than, I do not think that even the sheets have been changed! There used to be a lot more money in the area, and it was pretty busy throughout the week. The little police station was always manned, and it paid to be polite and keep out of trouble (some things never change!).

Crossed the street to 5to Patio. There were a couple of drunks sleeping into their beers. Drank a beer and chatted a bit with the bartender. He said there were no girls in back there, but to check El Pariso. Crossed the street again, and the bartender was back. Also, a drunk had made his way in and was sprawled across the bar. Chatted with the bartender a bit, who then offered to call some "girls". Finally a rather nice lady named Yolinda wandered in. About 30, some kids, from Hermisillo. We chatted over a beer for a bit, then decided to take the conversation to the room. Nothing to write home about, pretty much what you might expect if your wife suddenly found herself screwing a stranger for money. Started really slowly with a lot of non-verbal "rules" but after a bit, it turned into a lot of fun for all.

Back to the bar for another beer, then I crossed the dirt lot to Flamingo. Amazing! Full of fat old putas wearing tight black dresses! Might even be the same ones who were there 30 years ago! Like dropping in through a time warp. Sat down, ordered beer and spent a number of hours talking with the a number of people. Called it a night about 10, after turning down a number of propositions.

Summary.

I had a wonderful time, and will go back soon, this time over a weekend. The town is still a wonderful sleepy place, very secure, etc. I did not have time to check out the discos, etc. Maybe next time!

Nojails (Nogales)

Made my way across southern Ariz the next day. Very heavy rains, watched the desert bloom before my eyes. What a treat.

Pulled into Nogales at about 3, again Motel 6. The US side was very busy, pretty hard to get a room, and I had to leave the rental car behind. Crossed the border and spent some time getting my bearings. Tried to find La Caverna, which was the favorite restaurant of my parents. Turns out that it was burned down a number of years ago "for the insurance", according to the local street people. Turns out that it is in the street just behind all the clubs. There were a few pretty sad SG's. Looked into a few clubs, and they were pretty dead. Found a restraint of no great note and had some supper, then returned to Boleiro. Passed on a pretty Oriental girl, since I had just walked in. Ten minutes later watched her walk out in street clothes. Note to self, grab em when you find em! Wandered over to the bar and talked to the bartender a bit. Not the most friendly dude I have found in Mexico! Sat back down when Paulina got up to dance. Fantastic lady! Not the prettiest in the place, etc, but she just radiated. Tipped her a buck, and sat and enjoyed the show. She hooked up with another guy for a bit (maybe $2 tip?), then I grabbed her. Spent a few $ on fichas drinks, while she was quoting me major dollars for her company in a privada ($40 BJ, $100 F/S, plus $60 for the house). Meanwhile, she was playing with Jr, and I had three fingers of the right inside her, and the left across her tits. She finally had the desired effect on me, and I gave her a nice tip, collected a phone number, and wandered out into the night. Note that I have used the phone number, and had a ball bullshitting a rather nice and slightly weird lady. Among other things, she has the nicest skin I have fondled for a number of years.

Summary: Interesting, but I really do like my women naked and horizontal.

Cherrys use to close early in the evening and you can make arrangements for an hotel date for around 100. Haven't been there in over a year..

Were it up to me, I would spend the extra time on a weekend drive to Agua Prieta. About as pretty as any part of the world now, and lots of fun can be had. Helps to speak Spanish, but a good attitude and a pocket translator will go a LONG way!

Sandy, thats pretty much the consensus these days, as you can tell not too many Nogi reports anymore, everyone is going to AP these days.

AP I guess would require an overnight stay, since its atleast an hour longer drive than Nogi.
I am looking forward to a short Nogi trip tho

On weekends,in particular go to Internatiuonal Bar,just acroos in AP on left,maybe one block past Mexican Aduna.Drinks two dollars,same for woman.Many freelancers there who work in the maquilas,some still in work clothes.No real beauties,but if you like the earthy types,they will suffice.Few transactions,drinks,dinner,regalo,you get the picture.Douglas Customs assholes,walking or driving.

anyone have any recommendations where to stay in douglas and where the freelance chicas are in agua prieta?

same times and places...for freelancers...i will be ther in ap for two weeks..in july. starting the 10th.i expect to be able to have evenings free..anyone?
