CH CONVENTION IN AC

I know the party is still raging in AC, but I thought I’d just post a few pics and snippets. I had to leave early, but most of the guys are still there and planning up some wicked festa type parties. We had KhunMohr, DonMarco, Epi, MongerX, Xenono, Ahora007, Smitopher and me in attendance, and I’m afraid I missed out on meeting Spock1 and Rooster1. All I can say is, that to a man, every Hombre I’ve met so far have been great guys and the types of individuals you really want to hang out with.

The old expression “herding cats” came to mind this trip. Imagine, trying to get all these independent minded mongers together in one place…and then trying to get them to sit still for a few minutes. It was a feeding frenzy, fueled by a wicked brew of adrenaline, testosterone, and the knowledge that every hottie you ran into (whether dancer, streetgirl, mamasan, bartender, or store clerk) could be had.

Truthfully, I was most guilty of being led astray. But I had SERIOUSLY underestimated how overwhelming my task would be of juggling the honeykos; before I knew it, my frantic attempts at juggling and ditching had robbed me of some serious quality time with the other Mongers I’m afraid. I also realized that I'm an UNDISCIPLINED Monger, foregoing a drink with the guys for one last blow-job, missing many AM B-fast debriefings/bonding sessions because of my very bad habit of barhopping to the wee hours of the morning with my barfines.

Last I saw, KM, DM & Xen were partying big time with about a half dozen hottie BFs from the Bunny Ranch; EPI was seeking out the bad girls, MX was in the midst of one of the finest sessions in AC, and Ahora was out gambling in between barfines.

God I wish I was still there...

MJ is a cute little thing. Those Manila girls always seem to be better looking than the AC girls in pictures. Is there any reason why?

Roadglide, I honestly think the girls, on average, are betting looking in Manila. My take is that most of the gals in AC are from the Boonies or "province" and don't know how to use the makeup as well or dress as nicely. I would imagine the city girls eat better and have access to better healthcare also. Then again, maybe I'm trying to justify myself for paying double for the gals in Manila :-)

Jesus Titty Fucking Christ! I didn't even know there are other Honey Ko's than the two Perimeter and the Fields Ave. one. That MJ is a real cutie pie. Where did she come from? Actually, I must say that I don't think I have ever seen anybody who lives as large as Merlin lives in AC. I got to bar hop with him two nights in a row with his entourage. Hell I was pretty damn happy to catch a crumb from his massive party! Actually I don't know how Merlin does it. He is a bigger butterfly than me, in all the same bars we like to go to. However, I am starting to get welcomed like a wet fart while he gets welcomed like the conquering hero returning home.

I feel like I really fucked up and came back too early. Oh well I was gonna do a quick trip report with pics to sooth my post trip blues. But then I realized Batam is a hour away and everything in Singapore is shut down because of the CNE. So look for my report after I spend a few nights there loving the ceweks.

Ah MX, I've seen how the gals treat you. I don't think I've met a monger that has girls threatening other girls with bodily harm for merely speaking w/ you :-) I can count at least 3 gals that are still obsessed with you.

You'll get a kick out of this Mx. MJ is my sweetie from the perimeter bar you introduced me to, where they had the doghouse party (can't post too much about her as I know I'll get burned by a lurker again). After several forays, I got caught w/her from Lxxx after the Doghouse party, but when I told L this is how it has to be, L tells me that MJ is like a "little sister" to her and it's ok. I'm sure if it was another gal that L didn't know, I'd be a member of the John Wayne Bobbit society. Whoaa. Did I tell you how much I love the Phils?

MJ was in my last report and I had a great time with her last October. Funny but I think Merlin has been there two times since then and has photo'd her both times....he has good taste. She was FOB when I met her but it looks like she is getting into the swing of things.

Headin Back to AC in April for all the right reasons. Thanks for the great pics Merlin.

The top two pics are of Theresa, the tequila girl from Cambodia Club. I met her the first week that bar opened back in November 2002. The first three times I was in there she was a dancer and could not look LESS happy. On the fourth foray into that bar, she was beaming ear to ear. I bought her a drink and we had a GREAT party. She even gave up her browneye for me that night. Hell of a gal.

She's recently put on some weight, but she's STILL a cutiepie.

I think some venues are great for groups and others less so. The party atmosphere of AC (and cheap drinks/girls) would rank them right at the top.

Blazers: MJ is still the sweetie and kind of shy, but she did open up alot more last trip. Amazing how with so many thousands of girls we have mutual acquaintances in LOS and AC.

Bahtman: I'm sure you know to be aware of Easter week vacations.

Epi: I just couldn't believe how pretty Teresa was, her face and personality more than made up for the little paunch around the belly.

WS: I'm hoping you'll give AC more chance. The attitude and the fun-loving nature reminds me of Colombia in a way, perhaps because of the two countries Spanish and Catholic influence.

Unfortuantely as hard as I try to copnvert due to price and ratio and Porker's rec, I just can't seem to become attracted to these girls.

Hey Maximus, I agree w/you re: TJ, some of the pics don't do justice to the girls in the same way that the pics don't do justice to the SEA girls. I dabbled in TJ in the 90s, when the famous Vanessa & Leticia sister combo were still around at Chicago and Manhatten Club. I'm kicking myself for not getting pics of those hottie sisters.

I used my new Minolta Dimage Xt 3.2 MG pixel camera (3rd one). It's not the best camera, but it's convenient to carry around and I've become familiar with the bells & whistles.

I think many TJ guys would love the Phils and I'd highly recommend checking the place out.

Great meeting ya Merlin! I wouldn't feel too bad, as I'm sure hanging with that assortment of ladies is much more entertaining that swilling down a couple SML with us!

I have a feeling I'll be back in AC before too long.

DM, also great to have finally met ya as well. Goes without saying that you had a blast in AC. I'm sure our paths will cross again, hopefully in AC or LOS.

I'm kinda new to the whole scene and just trying to take in a lot of info. (Heading to BKK at the end of this month for a week.)Merlin you have some good reports and a lot of the guys you met w/are very experienced mongers. Can you sum up diff. between LOS and Phillipines for monger experience? Seems like reading 'tween the lines Phil. may hold a slightly warmer place in the heart of you mongers, and just want to understand the differences/advantages, appreciating that variety is spice of life. Also, sounds like you might reccommend MNL over AC for a short 3 day stopover in Phil., am I getting that right? Thx

Hey Lou, good question and I'm sure you'll get varying answers and replies from others. But one thing is for sure, I am ALWAYS guaranteed a good time in either LOS or the PHILS, whether going solo or with other Hombres. This is also true for me when I go to Colombia.

As you know, I went back to AC recently after a year and absolutely fell in love with the place (again). I spent the last year feverishly exploring as many different venues as possible because I sensed that LOS, with its clueless politicians, was getting a wee bit unreasonable with the earlier closing times for go-gos and massages, the inundation of hordes of guys at the popular venues, and the price inflation, etc.

There are some general aspects of the Phils that particularly appeal to me and to others:

1. Still the Best Bargain. Except for Cambodia, I found the dollar still goes the furthest. $20 LT is hard to beat and that is what they charge in Cambodia (although $5 ST is available). Plus, with the peso being so weak, you can party like a "rock star" and not have to declare bankruptcy.

2. GFE: regardless of what others might say about the bargirls, IMO the girls are absolutely and genuinely interested in hooking up with you in AC. I've seen them forego family, barfines, and the ire of other girls or mamasans, just to hang with me at my whim or to do sneak outs. No place, except perhaps CALI, have I come across so many willing and eager GFEs. I can point to a few girls that would drop everything they are doing if I told them to. The sex with someone like that (whether they are sincere or not) is truly something to experience. After a few trips, you'll have dozens of girls txt messaging you as soon as you step off the plane.

3. English Language. The ability to communicate with Filipinos immeasurably enhances the mongering experience and the GFE experience. Unfortunately, my Thai is limited and my Khmer and Indonesian are non-existant. Compared to the Phils, I honestly think that this detracts from my ability to experience the intense GFE type of relationships. I can't tell you how much fun I have just talking and joking with the girls.

4. Bars/Go-Gos/Party Scene: AC is nicely suited for barhopping. I love it that everything closes later than in LOS (i.e. Brown Sugar closes at 6am, Blue Nile at 5am, and the new Dollhouse is supposed to open 24 hours!). The late closing time really fits my personality as I'm more of a night person as MX will tell you. In LOS, I often feel pressured to go to venues early and to barfine a stunner before midnight. The scene is not as big as LOS, but some bars I go to often and can spend hours there just shooting the breeze with the girls and the staff. AC is the one place where the mamasans or papasans will comp you free drinks.

The negatives of AC are there are less stunners per capita than in LOS (although I'm quite content with the quality I've found). As noted, the scene isn't as huge as LOS, and one has to be more vigilent about crime and stuff like that. Less things to do in AC/Manila, but this doesn't bother me too much as I go on trips to be with the girls.

Manila is worthwhile because it's wide open every time I go, especially EDSA, and I've always found plenty of stunners there. L.A. Cafe is also a great place to hang out. As with most large cities, there are lots of places to shop, dine, and explore like the karaoke bars, high end massages, etc. I try never to miss Manila when in the Phils.

Thanks a lot for that great info! I'm slated to hit BKK (first time) at end of month so it will all be new. I've heard Pattaya is worth a side trip which I'll checkout. I'm intrigued by the Phil. I had a Phil girlfriend for a while inthe states and she was a frigin nympho. I like the idea of it being a bit more of a wild frontier and bit less of a mainstream mecca like LOS may becoming.
Sounds like you're saying that AC should be hit as primary destination on Phil trip with time spent in MNL as well.

An excellent summary by Merlin. I would only want to point out that the pricing for girls Merlin gave applies to AC not Manila.

Lou32D, I wouldn't call AC or Manila the "wild frontier" just corrupt. These are well worn paths of the western whoremonger. However, the total number of westerners (and available girls)is much less that Thailand. Also, the percentage of westerner tourist who are European is much much lower in the PI.

MX: I know MX and I have issues with some of those bald, tatooed Euro & Aussie guys. You'll meet a lot more Americans (expats, ex-military) in AC. We should coin a term for our group of AC apologists on this board, AC Mafia? Angeles Diehards? I still love LOS though.

Lou, making AC a primary destination is a personal preference. I correspond with some guys that prefer Manila over AC. It's just the prices are so much better in AC, but sometimes you need to get away from the GFE juggling for awhile in Manila.

I mentioned spending extra days in Manila so that you can give it a fair shake as to whether this is a locale you prefer. I think many guys bypass this gem of a destination more often than not.

Haven't been to Cebu, but I can tell you that the CEBU girls in AC are very pretty. Mari above is from Cebu and is there now. One of the prettiest Girls (Cherry waitress) in AC is from Cebu as well. Gotta check the place out, the scene is pretty good from what I read.

I may be buying a pad in Cebu if that damn transfer ever take effect. I'll be shopping around and spending 4-5 days there next month-- I'll report back.

Outstanding TR with alot of information for a newbie to AC (like me). Great looking girls and seems like you get alot of bang for your buck in AC.

It's nice to be able to speak english with your barfine, when i go to Thailand sometimes the girl and i can't communicate 100% and my Thai is just above average. When i speak thai, sometimes the girls say "you speak good thai". I tell the girls "I am half thai", they say "really"? I say "yes from the waist down". lol

Kjvegas, thanks for the kind words. For me, being able to freely communicate with a gal and to joke around is really important. It always surprises me that the Filipinas know all the slangs, and the subtletites of English.

IMO, Thai is a difficult language to pick-up because it's a tonal language.
