Panama is a great destination for those who want less hassles when mongering.

Panama is a friendly place with lots of girls (Pro and Non Pro) willing to show you a good time.

Here is the breakdown of what I paid during my trip.

Hotel-Caesar Park Hotel $100 per night. You can easily do better here, I just wanted to stay at a really nice place. Total Cost $600

Massage Parlors
Golden Time-2 Visits $94 each visit with Taxi. Total Cost $188

Miami Club-3 Visits, $90 each visit and drinks totaling $35. Total Cost $305

Life Girls-1 Visit, $60 for the visit and 1 drink at $5. Total Cost $65

Oasis-1 Visit, $65 for the visit and no drinks. Total cost $60

Elite II-1 visit but no action, $40 total cost for drinks.

Food-Dinner every night at great restaurants, total cost paid $200.

Tourist shit-Total cost $80.

Clubbing-
Baccus-$8 includes all drinks
Rock Cafe-$10 includes all drinks
Next-$10 entrance and $40 drinks
Mansion-$8 entrance and $20 drinks

Shopping-$100

Total Cost of the trip-$1734

Total made in the casinos-$634

Net Cost-$1100

Now that the accounting is out of the way, I have a few suggestions.

1. Go to a Massage Parlor and get your fix early. Then go to Club Next or Mansion and try your hand at local girls. You will find those that will bite. You might have to work it a bit and it may take a few days, but you can grab the prize. If you can't, just continue going to MP's.

2. Each cheap, more expensive food in Panama isn't better.

3. Negotiate with you taxis. By the way, you can ask them to wait for you but negotiate the rate. If you like your driver, you can get him to stay and wait for $3 or $4 for the hour. They only try to get you for $20 if you don't know to negotiate with them.

4. Avoid those trying to push you into a club. They get commissions and they don't work for the club and they try to get paid even if you were going to go to that club anyway.

5. Use Club Hombre. I see many stories that people go to Panama and do things that are clearly covered in earlier reports. Then they are dumbfounded that it happened to them. None of the things reported earlier happened to me. Be an informed consumer.

Most of all, go to Panama. You'll have fun.

Sniper -

You did 6 days for $1,734...I assume that didn't include airfare? I usually use my frequent flier miles to get down there, but airfare from the US ranges from a low of about $400 out of Miami to a high of around $600-$650 from most US interior cities...use the Internet to find the airfare deals, they are out there....some fares even lower than $400.

Also, the flight from Miami is about 3 hours. Flight from Atlanta or Houston is about 4 hours.

Also, I've stayed at nice hotels before and for $100 a night or more is just too steep when I monger in Panama. Seriously, you guys need to look at some of the other lower cost hotels in Panama...$20 a night gets you a/c, cable TV, phone, hot shower, clean bathroom, daily maid service, physical security, etc. If you are new to Panama and are unsure...book one night in what you consider a nice full-price hotel...then scope-out the cheaper hotels. Hotel California at $25 a night or even $20 a night if you stay 2 or more nights is a real deal. I've always found it very comfortable. Also, I like the sound of $120 Vs. $600 for the same amount of time...for the $480 difference I could have had a rental car all week, or stayed 3 or more days.

Unless you have money to burn, realize you can monger in Panama for about $100 to $150 a day, plus airfare. I usually budget for about $200 to $250 a day, then stay for 10-14 days.

A great low cost vacation and you get your toes curled a couple of times every day by different chicas!

Have fun!

Airfare was $550 from San Francisco on Copa through LAX, total flight time was around 6 hours.

I wanted to stay at a cheaper place by my buddies think that cheap means bad. We've been burned a few times when we frequent Brazil.

If I were to go myself, I would stay at a less expensive place. Or perhaps my new home! I am working with a realtor on finding me a Condo.

If I pull it off, mongerers that I correspond with regularly can stay in my extra room for free. It would be great to have the company.

Sniper; What did you think of COPA airlines? How do they compaire to Delta or AA.

I am thinking of flying them this summer.

They are fine, a little tight on the seating but they are basically Continental Airlines for Panama.

So I'd say they are basically the same. I think you are going to get the best rate on Copa to get their.
