Villa Mimosa is operated by the police. They don't let anyone get out of hand as a general rule. I heard a while ago some kid got stabbed (not sure if died) but that definately is NOT the norm.
It's dirty, filty, hot, scummy etc.. And I love it!!
Funny thing is I'm not the only one who actually digs the scene. My friend Don the tour guide and I love the food there. The hot garlic bread on a stick and the breaded chicken (grilled in the open street) is to die for. Cheap food, beer, pussy.
I've been there 4 times and was last there two weeks ago. I lead a posse of four which later became two with no trouble whatsoever. On a Friday or Saturday it's probably too crowded in that it gets steamy hot in the labarinth of small bars which have some of the better looking girls.
Sunday is slower and calmer but not as many girls . I had a beautiful Pocohantas looking girl for R$25 (brought my own condoms). The cabine was small but clean and she put a clean sheet over the matress. No cockroaches or slime on the walls like many places in Mexican dives.
The next time was a Friday and boy was it packed. Still I managed a Blonde that had the whole Brittany Spears look (school girl outfit including neck tie and knee high socks in heels). R$26 because I forgot to tel her I had my own condoms (R$1 extra was for a condom LOL). Shittier room with no lock that she wedged one of her shoes under to keep closed. She had creamy white skin and loved it doggy style.
Then I perused through the small bars and came across a drop dead gorgeous babe! My buddy and I couldn't believe that no one was banging her. SHe had long dark hair and a cute flawless face and huge natural tits and a tight ass to boot. Still the same price R$25 (I told her I had my own condoms). Great head (although covered) and wonderful ball licker. Took it up th ass for awhile too.
I was just about ready to head back to Copa when my buddy said we should make one last round.
We were walking around the bend of one of the last bars in one labarinth. And there was, the Librarian! My friend and I wondered what the hell was a beautiful natural dark blonde haired girl that had the looks of a school teacher (had gold wire rimmed glasses) doing in Villa Mimosa? I prayed to the Viagra gods to bestow upon me one more woody in exchange for my first born. With wobbly knees I climbed up the spiral staircase to a second floor that was by far the best and cleanest cabine I had been in at Villa Mimosa. For some reason it was also cooler on the second floor so I didn't turn on the fan above us. The cushion/matress was in real good newer shape and she put a fresh Micky Mouse pattern sheet over it.
The gods came through and so did I, all over her glasses (It made her laugh when I first asked her to keep the glasses on, later she was happy she did). I had given her R$30 and wasn't even thinking about my change when I got cleaned up and she handed me R$5 back. "No" I said, I told her to keep that for keeping the glasses on. She laughed again and gave me a big hug and kiss on the cheek.
I made it to the street and collapsed in a taxi back to Copa. We got to Teracco Atlantica where I was determined only to sit for a beer or two then head home. Instead, I stayed for 4 choppe's and took a girl home for the night.
Does anyone else think I need to seek help?

I know you need help, but I suspect your problem is refractive to treatment. You'll just have to live with it.

A few years ago, I walked into a club in VM one night with few other buddies. One of the girls grabbed on to my arm, and would not let go. She stayed two days with me, and was an absolute blast. We still correspond.
Enjoy the life,

The kid who got stabbed did die, a friend who has lived in Rio 30 years was going to take me down to VM, a regular haunt of his, but that happened and he told me it was too dangerous, he didn't want to be responsible for me being there. He said people were just stepping over the body.
Next time.

From a guy that seen Cubanut in action....all I can say is that I can attest to this guy's actions in Rio. I seen him at Termas, festa and outside of HELP. I NEVER seen a guy that could go thru so many women in my life.....this guy is a true animal...trust me when I tell you this!
At the festa I attended with Cubanut....whenever else was tired of fucking....Cubanut managed to keep the idle girls busy on our behalf! One guy got upset at this...and I said. "hell....if you can't keep their attention...don't get mad at him since he can..."
On another occasion, I had to ask him...."What in the hell are you taking...man".
Anyways....If you need help, Cubanut....I need help, because I envy the hell out of you.
This guy is a blast to hang with and also a guy that will always be in your corner. Cubanut helped me out on some many occasions in Rio and I owe him a lot! When you are in a new country and don't speak the language...this sometimes can be a real drag...seriously....and it really helps to run into members like this, who speak the language and knows the scene.
The last thing we all want to do on our short vacations....is have to babysit others....but this guy sacrifices his little time in paradise and helps others out at a drop of the dime. But that's okay...he's from my hometown, and I WILL return the favor!
Big shout outs to Cubanut!

after some report of courageous souls like you, I stopped over at Vila Mimosa
Ended up taking some girls, but took them to the motel at the corner, at a much higher price.
I did not even date to look at the room, my memories from the past were too vivid. They would not let me check out a room first without paying for the girl.
I guess for Vila Mimosa you need to bring:
* towel,
* bed sheet and
* a carpet or plastic sheet for the floor, plus
* a portable camping shower.
Anything else I forgot??
Oh, one hot tip:
If the room gets too hot and does not have a good fan: get a second girl with a big piece of cardboard as a fan substitute. After a while you switch girls .....
The hotel stuff was complicated. Most girls refused to go to the Hotel.
I insisted on ID (don't want to be caught in a hotel with a minor) and pissed off some security guys who thought I must be from Vice police

How about a bullet proof vest? One of my trips there, some Brazilian dude didn't pay his bill (I think?) and tried to run away down the main road, but was tackled, beaten, and robbed of his belongings. All within twenty feet of me.
And in between the mayhem, some private security/bouncer fired off a round or two from his revolver straight up in the air. What goes up, must come down, right?
Maybe a kevlar helmet would help too? Just a little story of a wild night in VM, at least for me! sf4dfish
