Here’s a little update on Sauna Karan D’ache and a report of sorts.

I went again today, quinta-feira, as it’s their regular festa day, and the place is much livelier than other days. Here’s the “information” part. The festa is held every Thursday, and seems to feature different entertainment each time, according to one of the garotas I quizzed. This week the band played about half rock and half Gaúcho music, which reminds me a little of some Mexican cojunto music. And the strip show was completely different. More on that in a moment. I checked with the desk and they confirmed that entrance is normally 30 reais (70 on Thursdays) and rooms are 25 reais. The girls’ fees are completely negotiable. And the place essentially shuts down at 9, when all the girls leave to change and get ready for their night jobs.

This last fact leads to an interesting situation. I was standing outside SK at around 9, waiting for my cab, and girls were coming out in groups of 2 and 3. Several stopped and chatted, and I thought to myself “I’ll bet I could get some take-home here.” So I waited for a really hot one to come out, and as we were exchanging pleasantries I asked if she’d be interested in getting something to eat and coming by my apartment. She was, she did, and it cost me 100 reais plus dinner (20 reais).

Now to the “report” part. The place was jumping today; there were many more girls than the previous times. I think it may be because the universities are back in session and a bunch of college girls come here to help make ends meet. And there were some cuties. It’s still a little weird having most of the girls dressed in street clothes. But it feels a bit like you’re at a normal pick-up joint rather than a puteria. I found lots of good choices.

I am impressed by the staff at the place. After the first visit they all remembered my name. The doorman greeted me by name (“Oi Bwana!”), the guy at the desk recalled my name (pulled it up on his computer), and both the locker room attendant and the shower attendant refer to me as “Professor.” And the brasilieros who frequent the place seem much friendlier than those I’ve met in Rio. At 4X4 it seems like the local crowd is composed of crooks and police (telling the difference, if there is one, is impossible). The guys at SK are businessmen and professionals, and you can tell by the nice cars in the parking lot that many have ample money. But these guys chat me up, express interest in having an American in their midst, and seem to go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Tonight’s conversation around the table was how they liked Bill Clinton because he would enjoy a night in SK, while Bush would try to close the place down. Lots of laughs and lots of drinking.

The strip show was, uhhhmmm, a bit different tonight. First out was a beautiful woman with long brown hair and a smoking body. She performed a very nice but traditional striptease. As she got down to nothing the music changed and out came this guy who looked, dressed, and danced like Michael Jackson. The guy could really dance. While he danced the garota continued dancing around the edge of the stage. The music changed again and the guy started ripping his clothes off, got down to nothing, and…JESUS, WHAT IS THAT THING?...he was hung like the proverbial horse. She sidles over and starts giving him head—barely getting the damned thing in her mouth—as they still move to the music, and eventually he flips her over and they start engaging in some very acrobatic sex out on the dance floor (sem camisinha). Then it got even more interesting. The waiters came out and started clearing the tables, and he picked her up and put her on a table with a half-dozen guys and garotas sitting around it and starts pounding her there. After a minute or 2 he carries her to another table and repeats the scene, over and over. The two of them are drenched in sweat but seem to be enjoying themselves, chatting with the onlookers, and the crowd, both men and women, are going nuts. Finally he pulls out, everybody backs away, and he blows a load all over her. The applause was deafening. They took their bows and headed off to the showers.

Now, I’m not sure if this show is really good for business. All the guys had to be thinking “my dick looks like a stubby pencil compared to that thing. Is this garota I’ve been chatting up going to look at it and say ‘You call that thing a dick?’” Fortunately, I’d sessioned before the show, so I didn’t suffer this fate.

Hahaha, I see the Porto Alegre sauna scene hasn't changed any. I've never been in SKD, but sounds a lot like the suanas I used to hit 10 years ago, right down to the "floor show." Usually the guy is dressed as a gaucho,not Michael Jackson, but same show

How does one get to this place. What are their hours. Anything in the early am?

Read the full report under this heading for address, hours, etc. No, they are not open in the mornings. The place essentially functions between 4pm and 9 pm (strange), but that's because it serves businessmen who tell their wives that they're stopping by the health club for a few hours after work and can't get away with a nooner or a late night session.

It sounds like you're really enjoying yourself. I'm going to have to start planning my next trip down there. I remember you mentioning a while back that the girls in Porto Alegre tend to be lighter skinned than those in Rio. Are you finding that to be true? Is it generally blonde and blue?

The population down here is definitely fairer skinned than up north. The blondes here, while not super numerous, are actually likely to be real blondes. Green eyes are more common than blue.

Im in Rio now and im glad to see someone having checked out Porto Alegre, i like white girls and i cant find many in Rio. Im leaving to PA on 31st May, and i was wondering if any fellow mongers are gonna be there. Im a student in the states and i hope i can afford the chicks in PA, but could u tell me more about any coomodations i can find and which is the best area to stay. One very important thing is that i want the girls to come over to my apt/hotel, i prefer them at my own place, so if u can recommend a place/area to stay close to the thermas whith white /blue/green eyed chicks then i would be grateful. Apart from the report i read by Jay Bartol on the WSG website, i could not find any accomodation info....

Curitiba is cheap. I think Porto Alegre is much cheaper then Rio, too.

But all should note that southern Brasil is not Sweden. It's not like there are tons of true blondes running around down here, and I've yet to meet a single blue-eyed girl (except those that bought blue contacts). Most of the blondes are dyed. And the fact that many are of Italian or German ancestory does not mean they're exceptionally fair-skinned. If it's blondes you want, I recommend Copenhagen or Stockholm.

Also, note that having decent Portuguese language skills is way more important down south (at least in POA) than in Rio, as the girls really look down on guys they think are just sex tourists. But if you can speak decent Portuguese or Spanish your more likely to hit it off with the girls here.

I met nobody in POA that spoke much English, even at the Sheraton. Saying there are no white girls in Rio is odd, since they're all over the place. I even ran into a natural colleen (white skin w/freckles, red hair) in Help last night.

and don't forget Oslo in Norway for hot blond girls ;-)

Talking about Norway, the Brasilian National team will be playing a post World Cup 2006 friendly in Oslo, Norway scheduled for Aug. 16th.
