Needless to say, Florida to Bangkok is a long ass haul! I could have planned the trip more efficiently, but I took a lot into consideration, cost, comfort, and some time to spend with my brother in Los Angeles.
I used FF miles to fly First Class to LAX.
Was able to check my bag through all the way to BKK. Had 4 hours to spend in LA which was good.
At 10PM my brother dropped me back at LAX and I checked in for my EVA flight. A lot has been said about EVA Deluxe, which is why I chose this way to go. Seating was decent, not business class but far from coach, food ok, video selection fair. Overall if you have to spend 14 hours and then another 4 on a flight and can not afford business or first, this is acceptable.
On my 2 hour layover in Taipei, I met Jerry who was returning to BKK. He has been living there for a few years. In the next few days he showed me some great hospitality in guiding a newbie around to a few of the nightspots as well as a very special dinner with friends.
Arrived on time in Bangkok at 11:30 AM local time.
Baggage and customs was a breeze and my driver from the Omni was waiting for me in a nice late model Volvo sedan.
My studio at the Omni was very nice, good sized, refrigerator, microwave, nice tub/shower, decent TV selection(CNN, HBO ). i didnt mind the walk to Nana or Suk, although the Dynasty was alot closer, I feel the distance gave me a much quieter environment for the little time I decided to actually sleep. I stocked my frig and promptly crashed for 7 hours, waking at 9PM, perfect, rested and ready to go.
First impressions walking out of the Omni and heading down Soi 4 toward Nna is sensory overload. The odors of street cooking tingle in my nose, the traffic, which of course is flowing in an opposite direction than what I am accustommed to, the people in general, fellow mongers from across the globe, soem already returning to their digs with a prize BG in hand, the touts, oh those rascals, everywhere, as soon as a Tu Tuk sees a Farang, the massage girls, the bar beer girls. I am loving it already.
Anyway, I enter Nana... Boom, overload again.
I walked around a bit, entered a few nameless go gos checking out the talent. Got treated well in all the bars, I enjoy having my dick rubbed while watching the other girls dance. Anyway I opted not to bar fine the girl from Angel Witch who rubbed me the right way through my Heineken even though I did buy her a lady drink. I ended up at Pussycats, a small bar in the corner on the 3rd floor I believe. Beers were a little cheaper, and a little warmer, its all relative.

Walked back to Suk and headed up to Darlings, found it no problem but they did not open until 3PM. Strike 2. back down Suk to Soi 2 and go into Annies. Limited selection, it was still before noon, but chose Koy, a 34 yo Issan with a nice body. Koy was not petite like Nin, not fat, big strong legs, pretty face, for an old broad.

Left the west coast a few years ago after doing well as a stock trader. Now lives retired in Phuket, currently trying to give away money that was sent to him from people in the states , for tsunami relief. The subway is pretty cool, new, has had a few mishaps. You receive what looks like a poker chip when you buy your fare, then hold it in front of the turnstile for it to open. Upon completion of your trip, you insert the "chip" into the turnstile for it to open. Anyway, Liu's is in a residential area, what a dinner! Liu is a Chinese Canadian who has worked in the past in Singapore as well as being the chef for the King of Nepal for a few years.
He prepared 5 dishes for us, River prawns that must have weighed a pound each, a large steamed fish coated in garlic and herbs, crabmeat sauteed with peppercorns, Tandoori chicken, and a beef dish with potatoes. Liu told some great stories and we ate like pigs. I wandered Nana that night but slept alone.
Sunday, feeling guilty that I didnt barfine anyone the previous night, I went to the Beergarten on soi 7 around noon. Lots of freelancers here, all day, all night. i spotted May, 22, a student. Took her back to the Omni.
I great way to beat the heat on a hot afternoon.
That night I wandered around Nana, I couldn't get my mind off of Mind from the other night so i went back to carousel and bar fined her again. Joy was sad that I didnt go for the duo again.

The Lumpini Captain (Sawapor) recently came around and checked Nana Plaza very thoroughly. As for other areas there could well be underage girls. As Khun Mor rightly says better to be safe than sorry.
