This is my 4th time to Rio and my first time staying in an apartment rather than hotel. I stayed at Merlin Copacabana during my last trips. For US$80, it has a decent room and included broadband connection. They allow guests but it is still kind of a hassle with registering the guest, etc. For this trip, I booked a 2 bedroom apartment from RioApartments.com. It's a very nice apartment in Ipanema with a cable modem connection, only 3 blocks away from Hippe Fair and walking distance to the Ipanema beach and shopping district. Price is right too: $85/night and no guest fee.
In any case, here is my day by day report. I took it easy during this trip since I am taking this trip to write up a few things on the side and relax. So, I did work during the day, and hit the termas in the late afternoons, and then go window shopping at Help at night.

March 17 (Thursday): Termas Aeroporto - Ana
After checking into the apartment at 8pm, I went straight to Termas Aeroporto. I was trying to find my favoirte girl from last trip, Adriana. March 18 (Friday): Termas Solarium - Mariana
Spent most of my day working. By the time I was free, it was already 5pm. So, I decided to check out Solarium, which is my other favorite place during my previous trips. May be it was Friday night. I was surprised that it wasn't that busy. During my previous trips, Solarium had a few great looking white skin blonde type. But this time, they have mostly Brazilians. I noticed this Brazilian girl with a very sweet face, bright round eyes, cute smile, kind of shy. Come to think of it, she is very similar to Ana from last night, except sweeter. March 21 (Monday): Stuck out at Termas L'uomo and Barbarella, then Help Disco - Amanda
Spent most of the day working again. Went to Termas L'uomo at around 6pm. There was a huge beach concert going on (Mitch?) and the traffic was totally horrible.
