I just got back from BA and would like to update those interested. Hopefully if you read this you will not have to sift through months of other posts to get a good summary of BA. However, if anyone would like more details, just post here and I’d be happy to provide them. I would like to thank all those that posted here previously as the information posted was vital in finding some of these places. I hope my consolidated list is of some help. If you are a first timer, make sure you learn some Spanish because Argentina would be very difficult without it. I was lucky enough to travel with someone that did speak it. If you don’t speak any Spanish you may unfortunately want to stick with the more expensive clubs. In my opinion though, if possible, ditch the clubs, they are a rip.

Clubs:

These are the places that are like the American strip clubs, with the exception you can actually take the chicks out. Bottom line on these, they are pretty expensive and all of them have a cover charge of 15-30 pesos. In addition, most of these places are geared for taking the girls out of the club. There are usually no on sight facilities, which really makes it difficult.

Affaire – This place actually has onsite facilities and the girls are pretty good looking. If you are a club kinda guy, this is the best bang for your buck. 15 pesos to get in and the girls are a pretty consistent 70 pesos for 30 minutes. Go late though, because there is nothing before 11pm or so.

Black – Decent looking girls, but the prices are outrageous. There are definitely other options if you are willing to spend 300 pesos.

Madaho´s – I was actually impressed with some of the girls here. Some open classers for sure, but also has some pretty repulsive ones to even it out. However, again, 300 pesos? I think not. A good place to look at girls though before you get serious and go out and get something.

Cocodrilo - Gallo 1311 Teléfono: 4963-7195, 30peso entrance and not worth it. Nothing really great to speak of and the girls are between 200-300 pesos for a couple of hours. Don’t waste your time.

Croupier – A pretty cool club on 9 Julio(C. Peligrini) between LaValle and Corrientes. 15 peso entrance and had a different type of show. Watch out if you are a homophobe though because you will have to stomach the male strippers. There were some good looking chicks, but they were also fairly expensive at around 200 pesos for an hour or two. But it is a nice club.

Gatto's is located in Suipacha Street between MT Alvear Street and Paraguay Street. Hooks, Ness and Pipers Club are all right next to it, however I only checked this one out. There were some great girls in there. We concentrated some black girls from the Dominican Republic. Rookie mistake, go for the local flavor. Imports are gonna cost way more. They got pretty surly as well after they finished their drinks and I declined their 300 peso price. One of them actually wanted a tip because she had spent time on us. The attitude got pretty bad so we bailed asap. Decent club, but it is on the expensive side.

Ladies (next to Cutty Sark on Reconquita #800) – Ugly girls and expensive. Don’t waste your time.

Snob (Cordoba 937) – Should be renamed Snot. This place sucked. Only a couple of ugly hags and not much going on. Don’t waste your time.


Freelancers:

Constitution – Yes, this whole area has street walkers. My advice is to keep walking though. Besides the fact that it is a bit of an unsavory part of town, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you are by yourself, the girls were pretty nasty. The prices are pretty cheap, but not worth it. I’m sure if you looked hard enough you could find a good one and would get a good price but there are better places.

Florida – After reading all the posts on here about Florida, I was looking forward to it. The one week I was there I didn’t see anything worth taking. And as a matter of fact, there were not that many girls working in this area. Might be worth a try if you are walking by for another reason, but don’t go there with any huge expectations.

Cafe' Orleans corner of Cordoba and San Martin – There were a lot of chicks here, none too great though. If you are bored and really looking for a freelancer, this may be ok to check out.

Cafe Exedra, corner of Julio and Cordoba – Even a little earlier in the evening I walked by and saw the talent in side. There was a couple of decent girls, but none good enough to get me to stop and go in. Again, if you have nothing to do and want to practice your Spanish, this may be a good place, but don’t get your hopes up.

Cafe Iberia, Avenida de Mayo 1100-1200 block. See Café Exedra, almost identical.


Apartments:

These are the places that make BA great and where you get the most for your money. It is an interesting setup and I think really made the trip worthwhile. Most of them are open 24/7. It appears the girls change shifts twice a day so you can go during the day and get a different crew than in the late evening. The girls will come into what ever room you are in, say “hola”, kiss you on the cheek and then say their names. After all the girls have come in, you either pick which one you want, or just say you are not interested.

Sante FE 1707 #3 – Out of all the apartments, this place was the best. I went two times and both times, while there was only 2 or 3 girls working, all of them were very acceptable. The place is clean , prices are fair, and the girls were very nice. 80 pesos for 45 minutes and the girls keep busy for the entire time, there is no pressure to finish up and get out.

Montevideo 271 – Too bad this place wasn’t good. It is a cool atmosphere and has a little bar with about 3 or 4 girls working that were always very pleasant. Plus, it was right next to my hotel. I really wanted the place to be good and actually visited it a couple of times hoping it would get better. The girls were ugly enough that I didn’t take them up on the 15 peso price for 30 minutes though. This gives you an idea of the quality. However, if you are a drinking man or just have low standards, this is the place for you.

Corrientes 1965, 13-B (tel: 4952-8234) – Not bad. For 40 pesos the girls were adequate. They were nothing I would take pictures of to brag about, but for that price, I was happy they were decent looking. They were generally very nice as well. When I was there, there was about 3-4 girls working and 2 were acceptable.

1888 Corrientes – I was not even going to mention this place because I wouldn’t want anyone going there, but just in case someone should happen to stumble onto it I will review it. This place was horrible, I can’t say that enough. The girls were laughably ugly and the attitude was terrible. They ask 15-30 pesos for 30 minutes and when we declined, they actually tried to charge a 10 peso per person viewing charge and were very upset when we walked out. Lots of verbal abuse when we left. These girls were ugly enough that they should have been paying ME 10 pesos to look at them. They couldn’t have paid me enough to nail one of them. In short, avoid this place like the plague.



563 Tucuman, 1/2 block below Florida on left. – One of the best looking girls seen on the whole trip works here. Vicki, who is very thin and extremely pleasant, she was great. The room I was in had a Jacuzzi type set up that was pretty fun. The other girls working seemed to be the “switch” in the bait and switch. The place is worth a try, but don’t get your hopes up if Vicki isn’t working. 80 pesos for 30 minutes.

975 Esmerelda #9E (Esmerelda y Paraguay) – Not a bad place, hit and miss. 80-100 pesos for 30 minutes. There was some really good looking ones and some not so good looking ones the times I was there. However, everyone was pretty pleasant and very professional about the whole thing. Worth a visit.

Lavalle 1735 #5B – The one girl that was working was good. However there never seemed to be anyone else working and this girl was constantly answering the phone. There was some linguistic fog here and while we never got a chance to try it, it is worth a visit. Be up on your Spanish though cause she speaks a mile a minute and doesn’t do English.

In summary, BA is a great place once you find out where to go. If anyone knows any apartment addresses that I have not listed, I’m sure other people would appreciate them being posted as well. They appear to be all over and who knows how many places there are. With the dollar being strong (3 to 1), you can get some pretty decent deals. The action is not as concentrated in areas as other places in the world and you have to know where to find the girls.

Thanks for the report; it contains alot of useful information. One apartment I like, although it can be variable (even the rooms are dramatically different in quality from one another, let alone the garotas), is Laprida 947, discussed in the Buenos Aires Incall Apartments section of TreeView here.

I too am disinclined to go to the clubs, at least the expensive or even supposed mid-priced ones, such as Cattos. The one time I was at Cattos I began talking to a Brasileira who was only average at best; she wanted $300 pesos for a couple of hours. She would have been lucky to get R$100 in SP or Rio, where I was heading a couple of days later. While I enjoy some of the apartments, and they are certainly worthwhile if you are in BA, if instead one is planning a vacation and wants to experience apartment incalls (or prives/casas in Brazil), I have found Sao Paulo a better locale for this (as described in detail in the guide I just posted), even though BA is not bad.

Back in 2002, ah the good old days, the joint at 563 Tucuman was 50 pesos for a half hour. The exchange rate at the time was 3.5 pesos for one US dollar. Needless to say, I logged in at that place more than once. Really liked it.

Affaire has onsite facilities? I had no idea! Good info. 70 pesos for 30min not too bad, though I assume you have to buy one drink too.

Here's another apartment to add to your list. Haven't been there but know someone who did and he said the girls were good quality, some from Platynum I believe.

Thanks for the info. Some additional information for you next time:

Florida St: Mostly tourists and very fast pickpockets. Be careful.

Cafe Orleans: It is best during business afternoons and into early evening during the week. Weekends and holidays, it is dead.

Cafe Exedra: The girls can not come in for working until after 3:00 in the afternoon. It gets much better as the afternoon turns into night, and you may see 20 girls or more in the wee hours of a weekend night.

Ladies: No take out, just buy the girls drinks and talk to them.

300 pesos is not outrageous. It all depends on the girl, her attitude, and her performance. That is why I never discuss money in choosing a girl, she is paid on her performance. If she brings up an amount first, then I can either agree or disagree.

Spanish is very helpful, but not necessary to have a good time. I speak only a few words, and have a ball in that town.

I haven't visited this site in a long time because I've been busy. I haven't hit a club for about 2-3 months. Once you move to a city in South America you really don't need/want to hit the club scene. I went the other night with a client that wanted to go. I gotta say that all these clubs have gone downhill.

Madaho's probably still has the best selection but the girls all want a lot of money. It's funny because all the waiters in there know me and the girls know that I won't pay those kind of prices. Several girls that I met 2 years ago still work here.

The talent has gone way down across the board with the club scene. The everyday girls on the street and non-pros are much much more beautiful than these club girls. The best thing is to learn some Spanish because the non-pro scene is very rewarding. The girls I date are much hotter than these club girls.

I doubt I'll hit the club scene at all. The sex scene in BA has gone way down based on hitting the clubs with my client the other night. Rio still beats BA hands down for sex but I wouldn't live in Rio.
