One of the singularly unique things about Colombia IMO is the existence of a subset (or shading) of people here called Triguenas. Always heard about this subgroup of people, usually a shading in between Blanca (white) and Morenas (dark brown), but wasn´t quite sure if the gals I was boinking and repeatedly attracted to were triguenas or what. I got the definitive answer by simply asking the hotties if they considered themselves Triguenas. Funny thing is many girls claim to be triguena, and in a country where skin shading is of great import, I kinda had to play along. It turns out that the majority of the girls I´ve been boinking are all proud Triguenas. As a group, simply mesmerizing, one had light green eyes and another looked like Sophia Loren (my favorite actress). Take a look, I doubt you´ll find too many of these outside of Central and South America.

The following Triguena specimen is simply the most gorgeous female specimen I´ve come across in my travels. I´ve met with her numerous times and never knew she was a Triguena until this trip. She looks like Sophia Loren and I can tell you with a straight face that the pics don´t do her any justice.

Many morenas claim to be triguena, the following gal seems a bit more like a morena but she swears up and down that she´s a triguena. She´s a classic example of the triguena with GREEN eyes, I posted pics of her earlier but she´s definitely worth a repeat look.

The first girl is mega-hot!!! I really want to go check out Columbia. But since I have seemingly avoided having to make a return trip to North America this summer, it will have to wait. The first girl is Angela (from medellin I think).
We met at LDV and went to dance to Tu Candela but I didn't deep further as she wanted 150 000 pesos for an hour or 250 000 overnight.
It was her first week in Cartagena (mid november)
and she had a western expensive lifestyle (nice dress, nice apartment). I found another cheaper girl from Cartagena.

DM: You're right as usual, nothing is absolute in life. Let me qualify my statement like a good boy, Angela (her name) is actually ONE of the most, ALL natural beauties I came across. She wears little or no makeup and makes the heads turn. She's also fun to hang with. Zimroel, yes, that is Angela from MDE and I met her the first time around in Nov. 04 as well. She was a bit cold and materialistic in the beginning, but she now works on and off at LDV and is more down to earth. She still likes to hangout at discos and the beach and is happy with 100K pesos or 120K pesos for 2 or 3 hours so long as you meet with her outside of LDV. She's incredible naked.

i've been living in costa rica for over 15 years and recently spent about 6 months in colombia. mostly ctg and med. honestly everytime i leave my house here in cr i see about 10 girls i want to marry within a few blocks of home. i am thinking of doing a coffee table book on bus stop ticas. hehehe

this country of only 4 million is truly blessed. i remember the good old days when i lived here for a couple years in the mid-seventies and i was one of the few blue eyed gringos. how sweet it is/was!

well it's deja vu all over again in colombia times 10!! the colombianas in costa rica and panama change somehow but in colombia i have died and gone to heaven. i have to say that i think i can do considerably better then the above pictures but i love them all. there is a fire and passion and totally incredible feeling in colombia. it helps big time to speak spanish. cartagena is not really representative of colombia but it is pure colombia and the most romantic city i have ever been to. unfortunately the above trip report doesn't really scratch the surface. if i get motivated i'll try to list some must dos must gos must knows for a truly exhilirating trip to cartagena. i might even turn it into a web site if i can get over my lazy selfish urges to keep it all to myself.

i keep looking at the thai girl pictures trying to get motivated to do a trip over there but.....man they just don't come close to the wonderful abundance of raw sexual lusty curvy classical latina beauty that surrounds me.imho

don't sell costa rica short. i lived on the beach here for many years mostly tourists but now i'm in the san jose suburbs and i am in constant awe of the amount of beautiful girls in this little country. i have a few bus stop routes that can make a grown man beg for mercy.....no kidding.

but colombia is 180 degrees different i swear. i'm speechless. pobre colombia...:-( the problems are still very serious or maybe a little better now. one can't begin to even understand what the people did to deserve it. i think both god and the devil live in colombia. it is that kind of place. the moment i set foot in some colombian airport my feet (and dick) begin to tingle . lot of people don't realize or understand how pure colombia is. they have almost zero tourism. most colombians never met a gringo.

my opinion is that most guys should limit it to cartagena. especially if you are not comfortable going alone even to cartagena on your first trip. i always travel alone, but cartagena is exactly the right perfect place for a couple of guys that want to keep it simple and set up shop in laguito for a great time just like merlin describes. absolutely amazing. i have to list a few of the real cool laguito hangouts like el muelle beach restaurant just steps from ldv and bonys beach kiosk with best shrimp ceviche and playa linda a short boat ride from the hilton to your own privat white sand beach. lots to do in modern bocagrande, too. and of course the ancient walled city right next to the ocean is unbelievable. uhhhh love to jog by 7 am when hundreds of girls are streaming through the old wall on their way to university or the hundreds of little shops (i'm always amazed that there are so many females and so few males or is it my vision :-))......just the thought is getting me crazy! the old city has dozens of the most romantic restaurants, cafes, clubs and bars and hotels you will ever see. take your honey for an evening horse and buggy ride all over the city.ok

btw.....playa linda is about a 15-20 minute ride from near the hlton in a boat taxi for about $20 round trip for the boat.

there is one little restaurant that serves whole red snapper, coconut rice and platano...delicious!

it's the most beautifl beach in the area and almost no one goes there.

sex on the beach.....no problemo....just take some coins for the kids to dive for then send them away......

don't let the fancy sign fool ya.... the prices are really very reasonable! lol

Been to the Playa Linda and it's an excellent restuarant. There are also places by the Playa Linda where you can rent jet skis or ride the banana boats.

Remember that song by the B52's The Love shack? You might end up with some spinters in that place, but your model has a real nice rack.

thanks, merlin....i'm using the first in breed...a panasonic lumix fz-1 12X optical zoom only 2 megapixels believe it or not. of course now you can get 5 mega for the same price. an incredible zoom lens on a relatively small body. are you familiar with it? if someone wants to take candid fotos, nature, surfing, whatever it is amazing.

maybe i will start a new thread with a few more pix and tips. i won't promise anything too provocative, though. it's hard to take a bad picture in cartagena.

Nice hotel, good aircon. Chica policy is, you can bring her in, she must register at the front desk and leave her ID and she must leave before 5:00 AM. They will call at 5:30.

I have brought in a girl during the day without registering or sneaking and no one noticed but if you are dragging in your LDV date at 1:00 AM, you will register her. Basicly they do not want you to have breakfast buffet with your chica de jour in front of all the nice people.

Smitopher, I didn't tell you how on the last night I finally figured out how to walk away from a carribean stud table, I stack the chips in 100K piles -- each pile representing one beachgirl barfine. This actually worked, I just couldn't disturb the nicely stacked piles thinking each represented a potential rendevous with a total hottie. When I needed further reassurance, I whipped out my camera and scrolled through the pics...I was then able to walk away. The biological urge to merge is strong than the urge to splurge at the casino :-)

I recommend the Almirante for their weekend specials depending on the season? They offer a room and two meals promotion (breakfast and either lunch or dinner).

Then I head over to the Hilton to get my Hilton points other day's.

i never liked big hotels. this is 6 floors maybe 40 rooms 110K cop/nite, breakfast included in a really nice nautically decorated restaurant with table cloths and pro waiters, modern, clean good a/c. minibar. me and my novia bring back guests all the time no problemo! one block off ave. san martin and max 2 blocks away from la dulceria my fave restaurant in bocagrande, the new subarashi japanese rest. excellent, bodytech gym, carullo and olympia supermarkets and the best cheap lavanderia in town. they have a couple of 2 story penthouse suites that aren't that fancy but they have nice balconies, a couple tv's and great for entertaining. when i go to cartagena i never seem to be able to leave so i like a small cozy place. but lately i've been staying in a one bedroom oceanview apartment called cartagena eskape a huge hirise. there are some bocagrande bldgs that are a lot nicer then what i've seen in laguito and at good prices. i like to stay in bocagrande and walk or taxi to laguito or the old city.

i have a ticket for rio. i've never been. will i like it as much as colombia? will my pretty decent spanish get me by in portugese? how do the girls compare? from what i see on the internet it seems the p4p scene in brazil is light years ahead of anything in colombia. other then cartagena, colombia is a real challenge. maybe the fruit tastes sweeter when it's harder to reach. nahhhh!

Tamaroy, I've been to Rio 2x and absolutely loved it. There are obvious differences between the two places. The p4p scene in RIO is much more highly evolved than in Colombia, but then again, you'll see a lot more mongers than in any place in Colombia. Some favorite termas like 4x4 don't open on weekends and can get crowded after work hours, espec. friday. Some termas like Centaurus has a waiting lounge to go to the cabinas. I actually prefer the wide openness of Colombia.

Regardless, I think the Terma experience, espec. having a dupla, should be very high on the must do list for any monger. HELP disco is huge compared to LDV, the latter being more of a big bar IMO. HELP sometimes has hundreds of girls on weekend nights; but it's a hit or miss proposition. I also found some great escort services.

IMO, the Brasileras you'll find in the Termas are very stunning and very passionate in bed, great asses. But I find more 18-20 y.o. in Colombia as well as more "fresh off the bus" types. Moreover, for me, I always found it much easier to get GFE from a Colombiana, it just seems to come more naturally for me. Also, I like the fact that in Colombia, a gal might see just one guy a day at best, even at places like LDV.

As for Portuguese, I think it's one of the prettiest languages in the world. It almost sounds like Italian. Spanish is similar to Portuguse, but in Brazil they prononce certain vowels and consonants differently. I found I could understand a little bit of it, i.e. abrir, caundo, bom (good) etc.

My thinking is always that a monger should visit Rio as it certainly is one of the premier destinations for our hobby. I just wish the passport hurdles weren't there like in Colombia. Like anything else, what you experience and see will be different from anything you read or see on the site.

Agree with Merlin. Plenty to do in Rio. Almost too much to do. Went to 5-6 termas while there and only scratched the service. The best things I liked about Rio, other than the termas of course, was the beach scene is unbelievable. Prettiest beaches with the girls all in thongs and the food is really good. Couldn't believe it when I went to a nice restaurant called "chuckwagon" in portuguese and it was identical to the restaraunts I have at home called Fogo de Chao (with the exception it cost me about $10 where at home, the same thing cost me $50).

Rio is a must see. I'm wanting to get to Colombia in the next few weeks for a real comparison.

well there you go....merlin had me pretty well convinced to forget brazil and go back to my beloved colombia. haven't been to cali yet plus my paisa is waiting for me in mde, and then techfan opened my eyes to the rio beach scene. i'm a big beach person. i think i might be able to get what i'm looking for right there on the beach without having to hang out too much late at night in bars and discos. termas look like fun for sure.

is there a nice strand for jogging on copacabana and ipanema beachfront? i think i can see a bike path in one of smitophers rio pix. i figure i'll just jog up and down and run in and out of the ocean until some sweet brasilera takes pity on me.

i got my brasil visa today here in san jose it cost 100 bucks good for 5 years multiple entries up to 90 days. is that good? i got a reservation for the 25th this month and stay a whole month.

any suggestions where to stay for a month? cheap

Merl please, you are giving me way to much credit. I was only able to spend 3 day´s in Indo, two in JKT, and one in Bali.

As for Vegas, I used to try to go there once a month, but due to a cut in pay, and other financial responsibilities, I had to cut back, way back.

Last time I was in CTG, I had a novia, she was alway´s registered at the front desk.

Regarding the Hilton, I´m a Diamond VIP, but when I was free, I recall I only brought back guests at nite, no problemo for me. Afternoon´s I went chasing tail at the numerous casas.

The Feria I´m refering to, is La Feria de las Flores in MDE the month of August. Have yet to indulge, but heard its muy bueno, maybe Hunter can elaborate more?

Another wish is to spend a couple of weeks at the Hilton in November, when they have the Miss Colombia beauty pageant.

I've been avoiding Vegas more as well these days, even the casinos off the strip and downtown are raising their table limits and getting crowded on weekends. But I'm still gambling with the best of them when I go to Colombia.

Looked into it a little bit, I know several guys on this site have apts there like Hunter. One expat I know there bought a 1 bedroom a few years ago for around USD $30K, I hear it's closer to the USD 100K these days for the nicer ones. Studios probably less. There's a lot of construction near the beaches. If you haven't been, you should email Juan Ventura or Mary Selance about availability and prices, they'd probably know. A buddy and I will be looking into an apartment in more depth, CTG looks to be a good place to get an apartment IMO.
