Well.....it was Crystal on the phone. She asked me if I tried to call her and said I, "yes". She then asked me if I had fun the last couple of days and I told her, "no" and that I missed her and wish she never left.......Yea, I was laying it on thick but you know it is fellows. You have to make these girls think they are special and that they are the only ones in your live.

This gave her the opportunity to get out her "I told you so" and "you should of kept me while you had a chance" comments. Call me "gullible" fellows, but I wanted her to come back. She asked me how much longer did I expect to stay in CR and I told her that I had only a few more days left in the Villa and probably return back to the States after I check out.

She told me that her brother thought I was a real cool guy and that she wanted me to meet the rest of her family. I agreed and she indicated that she would be over in a couple of hours.

She arrived back to the Villa around 5 or 6 oclock with her brother. Her brother brought her over in this old truck. She walked back into the Villa like she never left. I asked her if her brother wanted to come in and she went back to the truck and brought him into the house.

I offered him some colones for being her sister over and asked if he was hungry. Crystal called and ordered him some food and her some ice cream. I didn't order anything and was not definitely in the mood for any more drinking.

Shortly thereafter, the limousine driver called and indicated that he was in the area and was about the stop by the Villa. I let him know that I was not going anywhere and I would look out for him. Last night, we kept the limo longer than we planned and for some reason, I couldn't get any money from the ATM to finish paying him.

After he arrived, I finished paying him and gave him a tip. I believe he charged me around $50 US dollars an hour. He let Crystal and her brother look inside the limousine because at this point they were walking around it like it was a "space ship". He told me has two cars and tries to keep busy by doing a lot of airport pickups and he receives a lot referral business from the hotels and resorts in the San Jose area.

He was a real cool guy that was actually from the States. He gave me his card as he was leaving and indicated that he appreciated my business. He indicated that he gave out a lot of business cards while he sat in front of all the clubs last nite and had a nice time. He told me that I really know to party and we both started laughing.

We walked back into the Villa and Crystal wanted to know if I took out any girls in the limo during the last couple of days. I told her I rented it with a bunch of guys and we went bar hopping. She knew I was lying and before she started with her jealous antics....I told her that I also rented the limousine the next day to take her out to dinner and to ride around. She smiled from ear to ear, hugged me and started talking to her brother in spanish. She indicated that her brother stated that she was real lucky and that the limo was the coolest car he ever seen. I told her to tell him that maybe we could drive by her house and also give him a ride in it. Now....he was smiling from ear to ear. They continued to talk back and forth in spanish.

I told Crystal I was going back to lay down and she wanted to take her brother on a quick tour of the trails and waterfalls at the Villas before it got too late. I tried to lay down and rest but the phone kept ringing. First, it was Brenda asking me if I was interested in any more lady friends. I told her I was tired but will probably call her later. Joanna called about 30 minutes after her.....asking the same thing. I gave her the same response.

Since I couldn't get back to sleep, I called the limousine driver to see if he was available the next day for a few hours in the evening and he indicated that he was always available for me. I asked him if he could show up around 7:00 pm. He asked me how long he needed the car and I said probably until midnite.

I pretty much relaxed the remainder of that day and the next, outside of a little touring with Crystal. I was content with what I did in CR and figured I'll just hang with Crystal for the rest of the trip.
During the day, we arranged for a driver to take us to see the Volcanoes. It was a long hike up to the hill to see it but it was a pretty interesting site to see.



Based on recommendations from my body guard friend Art, I took Crystal to a couple of laid back clubs later that evening.

I can't think of this one club in San Jose, but it was real nice and had a live band playing jazz. She was on cloud nine the whole evening and enjoyed all the attention. It looked like every place we went, we drew a lot of attention.

For me, the highlite of the evening was meeting her family. First, the driver was not too fond about driving thru her part of the town. He let me know that he usually does not come this area in the evening, as it was dangerous....but that he'll make an exception for me. She took me to her house and we created a bunch of attention in her neighborhood. Her brother and friends met us at the limo and driver let them get in & out, while I left with Crystal to meet the rest of her family.

As we walked into her house, it appeared to have several rooms that all connected. They had a lot of stuff crammed into small rooms and I could barely see anything. We walked thru the house to the last room. In the last room, an older lady was sitting in the chair watching a small tv and the baby was playing on the floor. I picked him up and he immediately started to smile back....very cute kid. She introduced me to the old lady, who I believe was her grandmother and just smiled at me the whole time.

We couldn't stay long because I knew the driver did not feel comfortable outside waiting...let alone be in the area at all. As we walked back outside, a ton of kids were by the limo trying to look thru the tinted windows and the driver was standing outside waiting for us. I can tell he was so ready to go...but he was trying to polite at the same time. Crystal wanted me to meet some more of her friends but I told her that we had to go and the driver smiled after he heard me say that. The driver wasted no time speeding out of the neighborhood and she waved out of the window the whole time. Crystal was kind of upset that the driver rushed out of the area, but I could understand his point. He joked with me later and said that it was definitely not a safe area to be in at nite.

Art made arrangements for us to have a VIP table again but I wasn't in the mood for any more partying. We made a brief appearance at this club again and had a couple of drinks and then I wanted to return back to the Villa. Again, they pulled out the red carpet and driver kept the limo right by the front door as I was not staying long. I left a small tip this time. Before we returned to the Villa, we took a cruise along perimiter of San Jose and it was real nice way to end the evening and my stay in CR.

This was my last nite in Costa Rica and I felt I ended it on a good note with Crystal as while. I promised to keep in touch with her and actually managed to contact her a few times after I left CR.

I had sincere intentions on making additional trips back to CR to meet her again but never had a chance. I ended up making trips to Thailand and Rio instead. Hopefully, one of these days I'll make it back and maybe even see Crystal again. Despite all the mind games, I really did enjoy myself with her.

What was the final tab on this trip?

I thought my first trip was expensive but it was nothing compared to this.

I've been to Costa Rica in the past and also found a bit of drama. I now have a 2X rule. No more that two sessions with the same girl then I move on.

I went as far as corresponding with the chica for several months. Each time it was harder and harder to break away. I finally just stopped calling. They can't afford to call us in the US so problem solved!

Sniper....I honestly cannot tell you! I think.... sub-consciously, I believe I'm scared to add it all up.

I remember prices of differnt things, but due to the fact that I purchased things at different intervals, I would honestly need to keep a log of everything and look back at credit card statements over a two-three month period, after I return from a certain trip, to get a final total. Obviously...this is something I have conveniently chose not to do!

I purchased some things in advance, hotel, air fare and even some of the agencies I used. Then, certain things you add along the way...that you don't plan. In addition to all of this, you make trips to ATM.

I really haven't put too much thought into this until you asked this question. I was about to respond with an answer and found myself unable to come up with an accurate total of any of my trips.

I know this sounds crazy, but out of all the six trips I have taken in the last year and half....I have not added any of them up! Maybe I scared....I don't know.

Is it just me? But, I have been also asked so many times my friends to give them a total of how much it will cost to go to Brazil, Thailand..etc....and I usually just give them estimates of different things like hotels, air fares, food, and how much they may spend on entertainment (depending on their appetite). I ultimately tell them, it's hard to come up with a iron clad figure. Obviously, if you want or have to stick to a budget..you can probably can work it out.

But...I already know myself and if I feel I have to stick to a budget during my trips, I believe it may spoil my fun. Not that I am going to go crazy and spend way above my means.....but if it necessary for me to stay within a certain limit that I feel is cutting real close....then I rather not go! (Again, this may sound crazy to some....but that's just me!)

I also agree totally with you about the 2x rule. After my trips to Costa Rica and Thailand, I realized how important this can be. So...on my last trip to Rio last month, I stuck to this rule. Yes, it made it easier on me sub-consciously.....but I still ended up with some drama. I come to the conclusion that some of it...may be impossible to avoid!

Actually in Rio if you go to Termas you can break the rule because the girls expect Americans to fuck everyone in the place. But I wouldn't suggest you do it from a girl at Help or off the street. They want you to make them your girlfriend if you hit it too many times.

My first trip about 10 years or so ago was to Holland. You can't go too crazy there because of the setup. But I've been fortunate to be an expat in a lot of countries and you learn the ropes long before it gets too expensive.

If you like Costa Rica, try Panama. You get the same type of girls but at less money. Columbia looks great, thats my next trip later in the year.

I've done so many trips that I usually can keep a weeks trip down to about $1500-$2000 including everything. That assumes a Latin American trip not Thailand or Europe. It also assumes that I'm banging 2-3 chicas a day.

I'm an ass man so I prefer Latin America but to tell you the truth Epi is turning me into a Asian lover quick. Check out some of his pictures.

You know at first when i read your report, I was like "Man what a fucking rookie", you didnt negotiate, you spent lavishly, you got reeled in by not being able to say no. But then you really won me over man. I mean you had a blast. And thats really the most important thing, I actually feel kinda sorry for Crytal, She seemed like a sweet girl but its for the best youve lost touch, girls like that are only looking for a ring.
