P4P OVERVIEW

P4P establishments in Peru can be divided into the following categories:

Apartment Brothels/Escorts (i.e. http://www.placeresdelperu.com, El Comercio ads)
Locals' Brothels (i.e. Las Cucardas, Trocadero)
Nightclubs (i.e. Suites de Barranco, Emmanuelle)
Freelance Bars/Discos (i.e Tequila Rock)
Massage Parlors (i.e. Ada, Britania)
Spas/Hotel Spas (i.e. Ely Spa, Hotel Bruce Spa)

Apartment Brothels/Escorts
Escorts are freelance prostitutes who are usually not directly connected to any business establishment. They usually advertise on the Internet (such as http://www.placeresdelperu.com) or in local classifieds (such as El Comercio, also online at http://www.elcomercioperu.com.pe/online/). Escorts may work outcall in which case they visit your hotel, or they may work incall where you visit their place of residence. In some cases, escorts may work together to form what could be described as an apartment brothel where two or more work out of the same residence and advertise as such. Photos in ads are often obscured if available at all, and when not clear are often fake. Prices are usually much better than nightclubs and some other options, but one usually has no way of knowing what the escort will look like until arriving at a residence or her arrival at your hotel. Negotiations may be broken off at this late stage if one doesn't mind the hassle. Escorts are usually best when they are recommended by a reliable source. Apartment Brothels and Escorts will not be discussed further in this guide.

Locals' Brothels
These establishments are targeted towards locals with corresponding low prices. While you may find an occasional fellow tourist frequenting one of these places, the vast majority of clients will be local men. English is much less likely to be spoken by anyone. Service is provided on site, usually in rooms that are infrequently cleaned. Security inside should be fine, but the surrounding areas are often in poor areas with higher rates of crime. Prices can run as low as 20 soles, less than $7 US.

Nightclubs
Nightclubs are generally finer establishments targeted towards wealthier locals and visiting tourists. Many provide strip shows at times, and all ladies should be available for takeout. A few have on-site rooms, but generally they are not recommended. Taxi drivers will offer to take you to these places as many will pay the taxi drivers a commission for bringing in customers. Cover charges are often as high as 80 soles ($25 US). Drink prices may also be inflated, particularly for the ladies with single drinks in the range of 30-50 soles ($10-$15US). In order to take a lady out of the club, a fee or minimum drink purchase must often be met. Expect the takeout fees to set you back at least $30-$50 US, more if you buy a lot of drinks. Most ladies will quote $100 US for the priviledge of joining you for the evening, but many may be bargained down depending on chemistry, negotiating skills, and other factors. The money that circulates in these establishments tend to attract ladies that are in higher demand.

Freelance Bars/Discos
Freelance establishments often look like a run-of-the mill bar/discoteque, but fortunately for the hobbyist, most if not all of the ladies that are standing around waiting are available to bring back to your hotel. Unlike the nightclubs, freelance places will never have onsite rooms nor will they have a schedule for the ladies that work as prostitutes. Freelancers tend to be easier to negotiate price and/or time with, but because they are not "employed" by the establishment, hobbyists should take extra security precautions to minimize the risk of theft.

Massage Parlors
Massage Parlors obviously offer massages, but generally many of these places are really in the business of prostitution, where the "additional service" is offered before or during the massage for a negotiable price. Prices are often better than nightclubs and freelance establishments, but more expensive than locals' brothels. A significant problem with massage parlors is that the rooms generally do not have beds, only massage tables which can make sex uncomfortable, especially for larger hobbyists.

Spas/Hotel Spas
Spas are actually an independant service usually consisting of wet sauna, dry sauna, and jacuzzi facilities for an unlimited period of time (same day) for a low entrance fee. Many offer ladies for massage, operating in the same manner as the massage parlors.

Great info here and the pricing seems about right. What would you say are the ages of most of the working gals? I prefer the gals in the early 20s.

Early to mid-20s seemed to be the most common age for most of venues. Average age of ladies at Moonlight and Las Cucardas appeared to me to be a tad younger, while those at Club 59 and Suites de Barranco appeared a tad older.

You will find plenty of ladies in your preferred range.
