My gawd! I had previously been privy to beauties from across Asia, Mexico, and Central America, but I was still unprepared for the vision awaiting me at Centaurus, my first terma experience. The closest analogy I could use to describe what it was like would be to imagine being invited to a small Playmate party, with girls outnumbering guys.

The first terma run is a mind-blowing experience. One of the things that really sets the terma above the massage, bar, or disco experience from any other location is the superior quality of the average terma body. Almost all of the girls had well toned and curved bodies that were completely natural. Large tits were not common, but EVERY other category raised the bar relative to what was available in other places I've been. Most notable and most often discussed is the Brazillian ass, referred to there as the "bunda". The Brazilian bunda is like no other. "Baby Got Back!", but we're not talking about large or fat asses, but perfectly round asses that protrude perfectly, redefining the image of the perfect body. As a bonus, most of these asses have well defined tan lines to complement their definition. My preferred positions have typically been ones where the girl is facing me to allow for french kissing, but in Brazil, doggie position became an equally enjoyed position.

The other factors, equally as inspiring as the Brazilian figure, are the sales pitch, closing, and quality of service of the typical terma girl. Every terma girl I was with French kissed, two offered anal, two offered rim jobs, and most gave BBBJ. The sales pitch comes in while you're sitting in the lounge area. The girls really know how to sell themselves and most will always have a smile on their face. They'll try to establish eye contact and a return smile, or any other opening as an excuse to approach you. Before you know it, you'll often find yourself face to face with an attractive girl with an amazing body. Her hands may start roaming and she'll likely try to kiss you in an attempt to seal the deal. If you're like me and like to hang out a while to survey the talent, you'll have a challenging time turning down lovelies that you would snatch up in an instant in places like Argentina, Costa Rica, or Mexico.

A common practice in Mexico is to charge a higher price for drinks for the girls. These are referred to as "ficha drinks" for the Mexico guys. There was no such thing in any of the termas I visited. (Actually I haven't found this anywhere outside of Mexico except for some places in the Philippines out of the places that I have visited.) In fact, girls will often decline your offer to buy them drinks. Most are well aware that they need to offer excellent service in an attempt to win repeat customers and most follow through. They realize that alcohol may impair their performance and/or judgement, and some termas even have rules to prevent the girls from getting drunk. It worked out well for me because every terma experience I had was excellent except for one, and even that one was above average for many other places.

English is less common in Brazil than many other locations, and Spanish will only get you so far, so don't expect a lot of conversation to go on in the termas if you don't know Portugese. This was no problem for me because the girls I was with found other ways of keeping me entertained. Those that didn't speak English passed the time by letting their hands roam and sticking their tongue in my mouth. Those that did speak English chatted me up shortly, then let their hands roam and stuck their tongues in my mouth. I've never experienced nor ever heard of such a strong sales pitch for any location in the world.

Once you've selected you're girl, (or she's selected you!), she'll ask if you want a cabin (40min) or suite (60min), then bring you back to where the private rooms are located. There usually isn't a big difference in the rooms, it's mainly the time difference. (Or so I was told, I only sampled one suite during my trip) Sometimes you'll have to wait shortly while the girls grab their stuff and/or freshen up. Every girl I was with was flawlessly clean (they clean up afterwards, not before like in Thailand). The rooms are typically small, smaller than any hotel room, even those in Tijuana, but not as tiny as the closet space in Cambodia shacks. They are big enough and are well kept and clean. Most have mirrors to give you nice visual angles of the action going on. None of the girls rushed, and all except one wanted to hang out in the room if the full time wasn't used up.

If you go over time, you'll receive a phone call. The times I went over there wasn't a lot of pressure to rush, but I didn't push it either. Your girl will then escort you out into the hallway and hug/kiss you goodbye while she goes to clean up. From there, you're free to shower, hit the sauna, or return to the lounge area. Once you're in, there's no pressure to leave, so you can hang out before and after your session as long as you want. You're not required to select a girl if you don't want to, so there's no need to worry about losing any money unless you're at Centaurus. (Where you pay for the girl and room with your cover)

I did a relatively thorough terma run, hitting all the major ones and some others as well. I visited Centaurus, Solarium, L'uomo, Monte Carlo, Rio Antigua, 4x4, 65, and 21. I visited Solarium and L'uomo twice, doing the most at L'uomo which was 3. I didn't sample 65 or 21 talent, the former because I was being overly picky, the latter because they weren't paying me to do them. Most of the termas I went to with StayAwayJoe, but I met Dood on my last day and we hung out at 65, 21, and 4x4.

Centaurus was my first terma. I've read a lot of criticism of the place regarding pricing significantly higher than the norm ($96 US vs $57 US), but I think many agree that the talent level is higher than the rest. Whether the quality is sufficient to justify the price differential is open to debate, but it's a place I would highly recommend visiting at least once on every Rio trip. That said, unless I found 9's and 10's I had to do here on a visit, I probably wouldn't visit more than once considering the talent at the other major termas is still high. My first Brazilian was a gorgeous petite young dance instructor with an incredible eyes and a wonderful smile. She was a solid 9 on my scale. Unfortunately, she had a unique name that I can't recall and she wouldn't allow photos. StayAwayJoe ended up with a blond that I never got to see. He chose her out of frustration when the blond he was waiting for got snatched twice in a row. Apparently, that wasn't one of his best sessions.

Solarium turned out to be my favorite terma with my best looking girl, 9.5 Julia. I normally will spend at least half an hour surveying talent, but there was no way I could pass this one up. Within 5 minutes of entering the arena, I was paired up. StayAwayJoe chose a girl shortly thereafter, but it was slightly obvious that he spent a lot of time looking at Julia. She was so attractive that StayAwayJoe couldn't stop talking about her for days even though I was the one that did her. He missed out, too. She had the softest lips I'd ever kissed and was a very good provider. I thought she looked something like a cross between Julia Roberts and Marisa Tomei. SAJ thought Julia Roberts and Sandra Bulloch. She definitely looked like a celebrity. Julia was my other top looker that didn't allow photos. I returned on a Sunday, but Julia wasn't there so I chose Vanessa. The tiny terma camera took a horrible shot of this otherwise delicious 9, but here it is anyways. My first girl at L'uomo was named Michelle. At about 6 feet tall, she was the Amazon I did of the trip. I was initially checking out StayAwayJoe's choice, Duda, but she approached him first. Michelle was the next best thing, and I was up for a little variety (lots of petite girls in two consecutive trips to Thailand) so we ended hooking up. Despite the affection I was receiving from my attentive Amazon, it was difficult at times to keep my eyes off of Duda's perfect legs which were draped across SAJ's lap and gently brushing against mine. This memory would bring me back to L'uomo on my last day. L'uomo was the last stop on a terma run Dood and I had undertaken. I was thinking about Duda when I returned, but came in planning on doing a different girl to spread the wealth. An attractive Amazon approached me soon after I entered, but I was looking for the best lookers on that last day and I turned her down. That didn't stop her from kissing me, though. She was rather insistent even though I wasn't going to take her. So I obliged, of course. The rest of the talent was pretty slim except for Duda, however, she hadn't done her makeup as well this night and wasn't quite the 9 I remembered. Our session didn't go too smoothly, so I ended up doing another Amazon who ended up being the sister of the first Amazon here. That session was pretty wild as she was very agressive and practically raped me. After our session, she would keep coming back to me to kiss me. I also met the girl pictured in Dood's 6/26/02 L'uomo 1&2 photos. I forget her name, but apparently she's very popular. She also insisted that I kiss her, so I did.

Monte Carlo is located close to the beach about 7 blocks away from Help Disco. According to the brochure, this terma is under the same ownership as Solarium. StayAwayJoe hooked up with a bisexual pair that showed him an excellent time. One of his girls is pictured in TheArtist's trip report. I wasn't really fond of her face, but her body was luscious. Her blond friend started to come on to me, but I wanted to look around more. It was difficult walking away when she was rubbing her ass against the Johnson, but I had to look first. Unfortunately, the girl I ended up picking was only a 7, slightly lower than either of SAJ's pair, but was the only other viable option for me. I wasn't that impressed with the selection at Monte Carlo. I tried to take pictures, but my batteries were dead.

I knew prior to entering Rio Antigua that the quality of the place had changed dramatically in the last six months. I had read some of Athos' posts about his disappointment with the lineup. Since our tastes are very similar, I didn't have the highest of hopes upon entering. I found all the descriptions accurate, the facilities were very clean, but the lineup was a clear step down from the other termas I had visited. Most notably, this was the first terma I visited where the average body wasn't fit. A wild Panamanian ended up being my pick as the most attractive of the bunch. She ended up being a good, interesting choice. She was really into my ass, and was the second girl to offer me a rim job, and the first that I accepted. Actually, I didn't accept, she was just incredibly persistent on trying to tongue my ass so I finally let her because she was so turned on by it. About 30 minutes of our time was taken up by her giving me BBBJ and a rim job, so I had relatively little time to screw her, but it was still fun. I was too lazy to grab my camera, so I didn't get a pic of the Panamanian.

Terma 4x4 was the largest terma I visited with the largest selection of girls. Located downtown, this terma is frequented by many locals and becomes packed at times, making it overcrowded and difficult to walk. The large selection offered a good number of beauties. It would probably be my favorite if it didn't get so crowded. 4x4 is a good place to hit early before the business guys get off work. My selection was a very nicely tanned garota with an extraordinary bunda. Dood saw her and we agreed she was one of the top lookers there. The pictures I took turned out dark, but they were still some nice pictures of her. I visited 4x4 twice, but didn't go up when I visited my last day.

Terma 65 is another downtown terma that Dood and I visited on our terma run. The selection here was nice, but I ended up passing the 7's and 8's looking for 9's and 10's on my final day. For that reason, I can't say a lot about 65, but it's definitely a place I would like to research in the future.

While walking to 4x4 from 65, Dood and I stumbled across Terma 21. All I'll say right now is avoid the place. 21 doesn't deserve to be covered much with the rest of the Termas. Look for the story in a later chapter.

Terma girls work full time at termas, meaning 5 to 6 days a week the full shift so no bar fine. It is illegal to ask for their phone number.
The only way to have an outdate is to agree with her to meet outside as a free lancer, expect an outdate either noon time before going to work or on weekend. It is not like a typical paid outdate, garota needs to like you to go for it as she needs her time to rest like all of us.

No there are no tips involved nor expected at a terma.
As for paying for a guide, I can understand it is your first trip and you are a bit apprehensive, but to me it is throwing money at the wind. Look at the calendar and see who might be traveling the same time as you(there are many, many of us who are willing to help a first-timer) and try to arrange accordingly. Reserve a room at the Debret or Rio Roiss and you are right in the middle of the action. Get Bobby at Blameitonrio or Kenn at ez-riorentals to arrange a pickup at the airport so you feel secure on arrival. Read all the info here and get a rio map and you are set.

Hotels usually offer airport pickup for 50R if you go hotel route.
Terma garotas do not expect tip but do expect to be welcomed by them your next time out at termas as they do value repeat business.

Well ive been looking over this sight for a couple of weeks and plan to make a quick stop to brazil for 3days on my way back to florida from hawaii so this will be 6/04/04-6/07/04 so can someone please give me a crash course on the place and reccomendations on what is a must in this short time as im 32 and dont have a problem getting girls at all but also dont mind paying as life seems easier and three days i think ill be paying regardless but all the pictures of these women have forced me to take a detour so all help will be appriciated i think rio is where ill be going although sao paol is where i fly into first

I would avoid the Lido Clubs w/ only three days. 4x4, 65, and Rio Antigo are also farther, so maybe you'll want to check the nearby termas first.
