I visit Carousel. This joint likes to bend the rules. They do a couple of lesbian and S&M shows, exposing more skin than some would say they're supposed to. The shows are ok, but really not my thing. Nonetheless, I do stay a while, so maybe I'm more intrigued than I think? The most amusing part is when the bright white lights come on for a few seconds. All of the girls doing the S&M show FLY off the stage, and normal dancers start hauling ass up there. Within 20 seconds it's just a normal Thai go-go with a half dozen gals shuffling listlessly around on stage. Of course the white lights are a signal that there's a law dawg snooping around, so whenever they come on the "show" is over real quick. As if the cops don't know what goes on...

I head over to SuperBaby (or is it SuperGirl?) but don't see anything worth sticking around for. One brew and it's off to the next beer - or was that bar?

I've never stayed in Super(insert name) more than 1 beer. The atmosphere is a turn off and I usually go to appease whomever I happen to be barhopping with.

Carousel-- I find myself enjoying this bar more and more recently. I find it a nice place to toss back a few drinks and girls are very festive.

Happy-- never really cared for the place... dunno know really. Vibes.

Peppermint-- Like it + lots of lookers, but I never stay long because of the terrible seating compounded with crowds exceed capacity. I like to sprawl out in dark corners...

I was in Pattaya recently and had a different experience in the go go's.

Superbaby- I saw many lookers here and I would put it in my top 3 go go's in Pattaya easy. Pulled a nice girl from here and had a really good time with her.

Supergirl- Another bar with many hotties dancing about. Pulled one here and actually kept her long time which I rarely do but she was worth it. In the top 3 go go's in Pattaya imo.

Happy- Packed with hotties. I would put this bar #1 go go in Pattaya. Have a regular here and she is quite fun.

Peppermint- Usually always crowded. The showgirls are hot. Didn't see the quality all that great on the main stage this trip. I haven't taken a girl out of here in a long time. I will return though.

WD-- I tend to gravitate and enjoy the bars that have that "party" atmosphere. What I give up in looks I more than make up in terms of fun. I found it at carousel and it appears you had the same impression. The super(insert) bars no doubt have talent, but sorely lack the atmosphere IMHO.

WD - that's pretty funny about my login showing up on the computer you sat down at. Could have been the place right across from Dynasty Inn (I went there once - their prices are 4x other places) or more likely the place down the street in the little Travel Agent office. As for impressions of the go-gos, I did notice in at least one bar this trip that the place changed drastically in terms of number and quality of girls within like an hour or two. So first impressions, or one-time impressions, don't necessarily mean much.

During my trip to Pattaya from April 2 to April 8 this year. I hit SuperBaby, Carousel, Happy, and Peppermint.

IMHO SuperBaby had some real stunners, but like DM I didn't like the feel. And like Epi I really don't care to cough up the Baht to take these 'Super' girls out as they don't really rub me the right way, especially when I can get a stunner from Carousel, Peppermint, or Happy....AND the girl is into me too.
