This report is written 6 months upon returning from my first mongering trip to RIO (3 weeks in October 2004)… actually my first mongering trip anywhere. So it's safe to say, I was a beginner to the mongering scene abroad and my "hobbyist" experiences limited to escorts and brothels in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Report is also written 5 months before I take my second trip to RIO - this time for a full month …

If you are a beginner to the RIO scene here are five valuable tips,

1) Read BwanaDiks Rio Guide. It's an invaluable tool before you go and while you are there.

TRAVEL AND LODGING
I spent more than 24 hours in planes from Copenhagen to Madrid and from Madrid to RIO. At first I had some trouble finding the place as its located in a big antiques mall. It's facing the street, so you should find a hallway that leads to the outer hallway - and you'll see the Red shining sign - Luomo … You're headed for bounty land …

I headed for the shower to calm the nerves of anticipation and also learn the termas rope fully. I will however state, that I detest the small ropes and sandals you are handed. The robes are short and I found the sandals close to impossible to walk in … but then again - I was not in there for a hike … I actually thought the look of lots of men in small white robes and even more girls in sexy bikinis was quite the funny look.
