Hombres! So here I am in the Franfurt Airport sitting in the Lufthansa Senator Lounge. I have 11 hours to kill before my flight departs for BKK.

The Senator Lounge is OK as lounges go, you only need to be Star Alliance Gold or hold a First Class ticket to get in. Ample FREE booze and free showers. I toyed with the idea of skipping the shower and holding out for my soapy at Cupidy, but my accumulated travel funk would repel even the most stalwart soapie girl.

Now before any of you Yentas chime in advising me to hop the train down to HauptbanHof and visit the downtown Frankfurt sex complex, let me just slam that door shut; A) I refuse to pay 30euros for 30minutes, and B), I am saving all my jism and all my shekels for the lovely ladies of LOS.

We´ve got reservation at the Drop Inn Bangkok (1600 baht/night for a deluxe room), it´s located within staggering distance of Soi Cowboy and the ASOKE Sky Train. I´ll give you guys a detailed critique of the place later, but the have a pretty nice website (dropinnbangkok.com), and the manager states that he is "visitor friendly" and won´t levy the ubiquitous P.E.T (pussy excise tax).

OK Gents, sorry for the delay, but here is part deux to my Thailand trip report.

DAY ONE:

After a 14 hour layover in Frankfurt, I finally took off for BKK and went into an AMBIEN-induced coma. I landed at 1540 on 3 May, and sprinted from gate 51 (about a kilometer!) down to immigration. There were no lines, grabbed my bags and met Wedge95 at the greeting area.

I was a little disoriented at the airport because I had always arrived late at night, and this was my first daylight arrival. Cabs were plentiful but there was a hell of a line and the wait was cutting into my mongering.

The cabbie was good and 45 minutes later we pulled up to the Drop Inn Bangkok, located at Sukhumvit/Soi 20 (www.dropinnbangkok.com). This little 25 room hotel is in a great location, the staff is pleasant and the rooms are nice and comfy...all for 1600thb a night.

After a shower, shave and strategy session, we walked two blocks to the Asoke Sky Train station and made our way down to Nana Plaza. We got to NEP about 8pm, and as we made our way up to Hollywood Strip to meet Dave the Rave, Wedge was accosted by a lady boy on level two. Although he denies it, I think he liked the attention. BTW, although it was BLAZING hot and humid, mongers and girls of all stripes were out in force.

Once in the Strip, we were seated on a comfy couch, and grinning like village idiots, enjoyed the show and cold beers while the waitress went for Dave.
