INTRODUCTION

When I noted the best mongering city in Brazil, if not the world—Sao Paulo—was underreported, I wrote LAGuy’s Sao Paulo Ins and Outs. When I similarly noted a lack of information on Gangbang clubs in Brno, Czech Republic, I knew I had to fly there to do some research for a trip report (LAGuy - Brno, Czech Republic, Gangbang Club). When Turk5555 died and no-one gave him a proper eulogy, it was my sweat and labor that allowed him to eventually rest in peace (LAGuy's Sao Paulo Casa-Mania Guide and Turk Memorial). And now, after scouring this website for high quality scientific studies that resolve socially significant issues only to find none, I again will rise up to my civic duty.

ISSUE TO BE EXPLORED AND METHODOLOGY USED

There is a lot of talk but no concrete evidence on whether there is a correlation between price and quality. Earlier attempts to address this have suffered from the “non-identical garota problem,” aka the “comparing apples, oranges and garotas” problem. For example, some ask whether the quality of the garotas at the casas in Sao Paulo are comparable to the quality of the garotas at the termas in Brazil. Frankly, the only honest answer I can give is "I don't know." This is so much a matter of personal taste that one hombre might like the casa garotas better, another the terma garotas, and all you may end up with is an argument. Moreover, and this is what makes such comparisons difficult for me, judgments such as these may be affected by the surroundings in which each garota appears, as well as the price one pays (e.g., do I unconsciously use different standards in judging beauty when I am about to pay R$20 for a session as compared to R$200; I really can’t say).

The “identical-garota methodogy” adopted here consists of tracking (but not stalking) individual garotas as they move from place to place to see whether their prices remain constant, change, or even change dramatically. Although not foolproof, if one finds many instances of the same garota charging dramatically different rates at different locales, all within a short time period, this at least puts a dent into the view that you get what you pay for, and supports those of us who frequent places that are less than top-tier in price in search for top-tier or near top-tier talent.

COLLECTION OF EVIDENCE IN SAO PAULO

1. On April 29 I visited Alameda Franca, 175, and had a session with Veronica, an average looking garota (slim and trim though) who has a great personality and good skills in bed. I spent an hour with her, and the cost, as is usual at this casa, was R$100. I noted in an earlier report this casa charges a bit more than most of its competition, possibly because of its close proximity to Avenida Paulista and many of the hotels there.

2. On May 3, I visited Rua Batatais, 270, where the price on that day was R$50 per hour (previously, it bounced around between R$60 and R$80). The first garota to present herself was the same Veronica I had a session with at Alameda Franca, 175 for R$100 four days earlier.

3. On April 28, I visited Alameda Franca, 240 (a half block from Alameda Franca 175), where the price is R$100 per hour (R$50 per half). I had a session with Anita (not to be confused with Anita previously of Alameda Jau, 480), a too-thin, average garota, who I chose mainly because I was horny and nothing else at the casa appealed to me.

4. On May 4, I visited R. Machado de Assis, 449 to see one of my favorite performers, Bia (aka Bertriz). Their price is R$70 per hour with no half-hour price. Bia was occupied so I asked to see the other garotas. One of them was Anita, who I had seen six days earlier at Alameda Franca, 240. There she was charging R$100 per hour.

5. During my May 3 visit to Rua Batatais, 270, I did not choose Veronica. Instead I chose a reasonably attractive Carioca mulatta (“Carioca Garota”) whose name escapes me. My one-hour session with her including two cums cost R$50. Towards the end of the hour, I asked her whether she also worked at Alameda Franca, 175, since Veronica did. Carioca Garota told me instead she and some of the other Rua Batatais, 270 garotas sometimes work at Savana's Club, Al. Joaquim Eugenio de Lima, 1674, #1, where they charge R$150 per hour (R$100 per half hour). This made some sense since the business cards from Savana’s Club also have the Rua Batatais, 270 address on them.

6. Up until maybe six or seven months ago Savana’s Club sometimes charged R$80 and other times R$100 for an hour session. But more recently it re-opened as some sort of spa club, and as indicated above now charges R$100 per half hour, and R$150 per hour. Indeed, Carioca garota confirmed that these are the prices there.

7. Parenthetically, the one time I visited Savana’s Club since the price change (no, I did not session owing to the price incresae) the quality of the garotas seemed about equal (at best) to what I saw there before the price increase. I would not be that confident in my judgment about this but state it here because there is also some discussion on www.gpguia.net on this issue, and the consensus there agrees with my view that the quality at Savana’s Club has not improved with the near doubling of the price.

AND THE ENVELOPE IS IN

In the span of less than a week, through a series of fortuities, I observed one garota’s price vary between R$50 and R$100 per hour, another’s between R$70 and R$100 per hour, and a third’s between R$50 and R$150 per hour, all depending on casa, not garota. I should add that while I did observe some correlation between the quality of the rooms and the prices paid, it was a weak correlation. While all this, of course, does not prove the absence of a price--quality correlation, it probably suggests the correlation may not be as high as many think.

I previously observed similar instances of this in Sao Paulo, and in Rio, but never saw it three times in one week in such striking fashion.

It is rumored that some of the garotas working Help, getting R$150 - 200 for an hour or two (not tln), are working Vila Mimosa earlier in the evening. That is, of course, a much cheaper (and sleazier) venue.

My own gut (or wherever) feeling is that there is little correlation between price and quality of the sexual experience. You may get more beautiful garotas if you pay more, but beauty is, of course, in the eye of the beholder, as the judges of my photos have so eloquently indicated with their ratings.

I'll be happy to help you do more research in what I agree is an underreported (and perhaps underrated) mongering destination, hopefully soon.

Back when I frequented Vila Mimosa off and on, perhaps 20 percent of the garotas I had sessions with there also worked at Help. Of course, this does not mean 20 percent of all the garotas at Vila Mimosa also work at Help; I would like to think I have some standards and picked the more attractive Vila Mimosa girls for sessions. Similarly, there were a couple of lower-end massage parlor garotas I saw (the massage parlors, not the garotas were lower end) who also worked at Help. One in particular was fine. And I'm talking about fine in appearance as well as overall quality of the sexual experience.

As to Sao Paulo being underreported, I must say that more research isn't what is needed. What is needed is for hombres who do SP research to write trip reports about their research. There is, for example, one hombre, who I will protect from extreme embarrassment by not revealing his real fake name (I therefore will instead refer to him by the pseudonym Hunterhombre) who I know has both things to report from Sao Paulo, as well as some pictures to post(including some of a garota he claims is a "10"!) who simply will not get off his lazy ass to write a Sao Paulo trip report. This sort of Carioca-like attitude simply is not appreciated by those of us who spend alot of time in Sao Paulo and I hope and pray it does not spread like a contagious disease.

Good report showing strong investigative skills. As we all know many mongers subscribe to the belief that pussy is pussy and the only real variable is price. Hence, a typical $20 LT session in Angeles City has the potential of being the same quality as a $400 ST session with an upscale American escort. We also see cases, refering to Brazilians, of where many of them will work in Europe charging substantially more than they do while at home.

I have enough experience to feel that price and quality are not directly related although it is possible to find exceptions. A monger who simply wants to get his rocks off probably should stick with the cheapest, and safest, women. It makes little sense to pay as much as 50 times more for the same product.

Where money can have an effect, but not always, is for the monger who is seeking an intellectual and/or emotional experience. Pros come from all kinds of backgrounds and you can find everything from highly skilled women to totally inept ones. I do believe that within a set area (city or even a country) it is often possible to find a "better" session by paying more. Again, this only works for those looking for a larger experience. And there are no guarantees. Plus, at a certain point you reach diminishing returns. It's important to read people's trip reports to get a sense of both pricing and the writer's own expectations. Combine that with your own experiences and you should have a good handle on what to pay for the session that will leave you with a .

Okay. I will begrudgingly admit my sessions at Vila Mimosa were not intellectually stimulating, damnit!

OTOH, I neglected to mention in the field report above that the subject garotas did not show any detectable change in intellectual ability when they moved from a R$50 to a R$100, or even to a R$150 per hour casa. I will leave it to the reader to apply the identical-garota methodology and draw the appropriate conclusions from this remarkable fact.

I am currently in Sao Paulo. I can't make the comparison of same girl at different places -prices. I can only make comparison of prices for different girls at different places and I must admit that the two worst 'encontras' were my two most expensive ones to : in Café Photo.
Wednesday I payed 300 R$ (she asked 500) for a very friendly, beautiful dressed, English speaking girl who part-timed at Photo. When we came to my hotel and the wonderbra came of ... I even didn't want to start and send her back. She really had breasts like a lady of 70 years old !

When I make the comparison with 130 R$ for heavenly treatments at Cherry Massage Parlour with Sabrina and Rafaella. 300 R$ for a whole night with girls from Cocktail and Kilt. The difference is staggering !

I was at Savana's Club on Eugenio de Lima in Late July and Early August 2005 and I was Quoted 120 Reais for an Hour but Offered 100 Reais for an Hour and they took my Offer without much hassle, So the price maybe Flexible.

I liked the Club, it was clean and well furnished and a good selection of Garotas.

I do not recall the name of my choice but the Session was Good and when I was leaving she showed me out and encouraged me to come back soon.

I suspect Savana's Club may be feeling the wrath of the Brasileiros with their price increases (the posts in gpguia certainly suggest this) and maybe are being forced to lower their prices from the R$150 an hour they initially thought they could get after they renovated their premises. I know Hunterman and I checked them out when they re-opened (many month ago), and they held firm at R$150 per hour and R$100 per half. We left as a result and there was no give in their prices then. Perhaps they will make it back on my "to-do" list if they keep their prices reasonable.
