I had to travel to Accra Ghana in March for work and found it to be a very interesting and a place that there is not much information about. The exchange rate is 9,000 to the dollar and you can exchange at most hotels and they also have ATM machines scattered throughout the city. The flight to Accra from the major airports in Europe is roughly six hours and you most major European airlines fly to Accra.

Hotels

There are two hotels that were recommended the Golden Tulip and La Palma Resort. I stayed at the La Palma resort for a rate of $100.00 a night, expensive for Ghana but a real nice resort. You can get much cheaper lodgings at other hotels in the area.

Finding the woman in Accra proved to not be difficult at all, in fact they found you and the difficult part was getting rid of them. It cost roughly $20.00 for all night (they like dollars more then their currency) and I paid $30.00 one time.

Woman

The woman were from countries all over West Africa and there were some truly stunning woman around. I found woman at the pool at the hotel as well as in the hotel bars. There were two night spots that are very similar to Help in Rio only smaller. One is a bar called Jokers and the other which had better woman was a bar called Mokumbi (spelling maybe wrong but all the cabbies no where it is). Any restaurant pub such as the Irish pub will have a few girls around and the later it got the better the talent got usually peaking around 11:00. My favorite bar was a place called Aquarius that had pool tables and was very low key. A lot of the top talent would stop by on the way to the nightclubs so if you want or little quieter atmosphere it was a nice place. Sorry that I do not have pictures but that was a definite no for all woman that I talked to (although I did not try real hard).

For those mongers that live in Europe it is definitely a nice short trip to an unspoiled country as the numbers of men to woman really favored the men.

Sounds nice except for the fact that 30-40% of the adult population of some African countries are HIV Positive. I don't know about Ghana but you do say many of the women are from other African countries and chances are very very high some were HIV pos.

Too risky for me. I'll stick to safaris and sight seeing when I go to Africa.
