I was going to ask you why you are so strongly attracted to "the Penh," given some of the dangers and rough spots you describes, some all too graphically. This partially answers the question, but could you elaborate a little? Previous reports had me interested in spending a little time there, but I'm having second thoughts after your report. You make it seem like the Wild West there, and I'm too old for that kind of excitement.

1. I'm an adrenalin junkie who's too old to rock-climb any more. There's a real sense of adventure in Cambo that simply does not exist in Thailand (at least in the main mongering spots).

2. I love the girls' sweetness - they are not like the Thai girls who are hardened by their hard-core environment. They are sweet, seem to be happy, and make nice short time and long time companions. With the Thais, I always feel their eye is on the wallet, whilst I don't get this feeling nearly as much in Cambo (except with some Viets).

3. Whilst Thailand has high quality gash, the surroundings remind me of a funfair. If you read the "Streets and the Girls" part of the report, you'll see what I hate about Pattaya, for example.
