A Return to reason.
Wednesday April 21st…..Day 8
Woke up this morning and indulged in another quick breakfast at the Dynasty. I have come to appreciate the consistent quality and service level at the Dynasty Pattaya’s coffee shop. Unlike BKK’s coffee shop, which leaves a lot to be desired, Pattaya’s is quite good. I wish I had tried it sooner in the trip.
I spent about an hour and a half doing some last minute gift gathering. These are among my favorite buys. I got five of them. 2 for myself and 3 as gifts. The came in 3 sizes. Small medium and Large. This is the medium, measuring about 2 ½ feet wide by 1 ½ feet tall. They are hand painted and very sturdy. They are just gorgeous. Asking was 400 bt. But I got them at 300 bt each when I bought 5.
After shopping I went back to the hotel and readied for the shuttle back to BKK. We left at 1:30 and got to the Dynasty BKK at around 3 PM. Immediately headed to Lólita's to see Jum.
When I got there I found that Rin from Pattaya was also working dayshift. Hmmm. Both give a really great BBBJCIM. Jum was my first and I had not seen her since I left BKK 5 days ago, but I had been serviced by Rin many times and was very fond of her technique…..Well, Jum is A LOT cuter, and I can take her up to the 3rd floor for FS if I want. Also, I had told Jum on the first day I saw her, that would be back the next day. Then I decided to go to Pattaya with Bahtman, and was unable to come in, so I felt I should show her I was not full of shit….and she is awful adorable, and doable….So Jum it is.
I explain to Rin that I have already been promised to Jum. She is cool with it, so I buy her a drink with Jum and I, then Jum and I head off to the third floor. My first time to the third floor. They don’t offer FS in Pattaya. Jum takes me up to a smallish room. It is plain and not all that nice. Not dirty, just old and rather threadbare. Just the same, We cuddle (Jum is a MAJOR cuddler, one of the things I will remember about her the most). Lots of DFK and free roaming hands. I also pulled out the freshly sterilized pocket rocket , and give her a great buzz while we enjoy the foreplay. Jum is about 18 or so, little, maybe 5’ and 90 lbs. The epitome of the term spinner. She also has got a great skill most girls on all continents have never learned. Eye contact. She stares deeply into my eyes all the while that we are together. While blowing me, while I am fucking her, no matter what the position, and especially while either of us is cumming. She has beautiful eyes and it is a major turn on to watch her cum staring intensely into your eyes. We enjoy several positions and I finish in face together on our sides, looking into those beautiful, glazed over eyes. Wow! She was so yummy! She is now my new favorite on the trip. Apple was the best overall sex, but Jum was the most intense. Well, I get my card punched again and head off to the hotel.
BTW, make sure you are on the right side of the street when you go to Lólita's.
If you turn to face the wrong way, this is were you end up!
Decided to go to the Mall. I take the Tram to the MBK. This is a great Mall. I did not really shop here as I had procured all the gifts and things I needed, but I wanted to see it. It was most impressive!
The Mall:
The Tram system is large, modern, inexpensive and safe.
Headed into Hollywood’s around 8 PM. I had noticed an unusual gal there, and wanted to try her out. Her name was Por. She is petite, has an adorable little figure and a great smile. She also has a lazy eye. I thought for a few minutes about this, making sure that I had not become so eclectic that I was selecting a gal just for the novelty of doing a lazy eye. Having concluded that this was not the case, I BF’d her and off we went.
I was not disappointed. She was a good kisser, gave a great BBBJ, and was the most physically responsive gal of the trip. Not really the best lay of the trip, but excellent and responsive none the less. We spent 2 hours and I popped twice, which I was not sure I could do having had a really intense session with Jum only 3 hours before. She was a lot of fun. I would recommend her to you fellow Hombres.
I went back to Hollywood’s after that. Por went off somewhere else. When I got to the club, Dave rushed over. “Val! Come over here. I want you to meet a few other Hombres!” I follow him up to the couches and am introduced to Mano_Poderosa and xbrutex. Two very disparate personalities to say the least. Mano is well educated, very successful business background and quite reserved. Xbrutex is an outrageous Irishman who loves to party and is brazen in his gawking at the girls everywhere. We had coffee, and then the three of us (with brute’s girlfriend) went to a street side after hours bar. It was actually a cart, which is rolled up after the regular businesses close. I gathered that Mano, who has spent a great deal of time in Thailand, has ferreted out all the after hours golden nuggets. We had a drink (Coke for me), and after a while I called it a night. Manos had connected with a non-pro and was well on his way to securing a night of bliss for the price of a few drinks (smooth Manos!), xbrutex had wandered off somewhere and did not return, and I went back to the hotel for a much needed rest.
So ends another great day in Thailand!

Okay, let's try that again.

A couple of additional thought and impressions at the point.
Tuk Tuk's are not a good value. They cost more than a Metered Taxi on the average and the drivers are even less honest. Also, they are of course open air and therefore you gain no respite from the oppressive heat. Taxi's are air conditioned.
Power outlets in Thailand are not uniformed. They range from 2 to 3 prong and some have the oversized prong on one side and some don't. Power surges and brown outs are common.
I found that the country has a real issue with tissue. If you go to a restaurant, there will be a small amount of napkin's but they are like paper mache'. Super thin, not very absorbent and you use them by the handful. I wondered several times why they had figured out that one absorbent napkin is worth 5 of these scraps they call napkins. This is probably brought about by the fact that a thin tissue will wipe your face adequately. We Falong, who are uncustomed to the heat use them to sop up sweat and are accustomed to higher quality napkins. For the heat acclimated locals they are probably just fine. I'm the one with the problem I guess
An interesting note. This applies to toilet paper as well. At many places I went this is where you found your butt wipe!
BKK and Pattaya both smelled horribly, but I found this to be the case only in certain parts of town. In BKK for example, once you left the Sukhumvit area and got down near the river, the air was relatively clean and fresh. In Pattaya, the only areas I had a problem with were near those gutter grades at the curbs and intersection.
The Thai's are a very happy people in general. Though you must constantly be on the guard against being ripped off on prices, the people have a friendlier disposition than I found in Rio.
The beaches are wonderful here. No better than Rio, no worse, just wonderful. The water is much more polluted in Pattaya than Copa, but if you go south just a couple of miles to Jotiem Beach (much as you would go to Impenema or Barra Beach), the water and sand or excellent.
The girls here are no less money oriented than those in Rio, but I found the Thai girls to be more like European P4P women than like the Rio girls. It is very much about business. I found that the majority of the experiences here were not of the GFE quality that I found consistently in Rio. However, Those GFE's that I DID find here were amazing
The Thai girls are beautiful, the vast volume of spinners makes your head swim. The smiles are frequent and beautiful. More so than in Rio. However, the GFE is far more elusive in Thailand to the infrequent traveller. I saw that those who travel here frequently and often, such as Bahtman, Epi, or DonMarco, have learned the culture, the language to various degrees, and have been able to build a repour with the girls that those of us occasional SEA goers will never have.
If you are an oral sex junkie like I am , this is heaven. BBBJCIM anytime you want for $16? C'mon, life does not get much better than that! Not that the Rio girls are lacking in skill in this area, but I have to say that the Thai girls win hands down here. The Rio girls win hands down in the Butt department. Butt sex, butt shakin;, butt shape and form I have to give to the Rio girls. Although I must say that the Thai girls have excellent LOOKING asses, they just don't use them as a tool of excitement the way the Rio girls so.
I think that in order to give a fair comparison between Rio and Thailand, I will have to revisit each under better circumstances. I came here in the hottest month of the year (As I did on my first trip to Rio), and additionally had my mood and attitude adjusted downward by Songkran, so I do not believe, that I can give a fair comparison.
I CAN see that there are such great strengths and weaknesses in each Location that in the end I will probably like them each equally...for what they are.
The good stuff is yet to come....Stay tuned

Great report...by the way, the only time you might consider a tuk-tuk is with heavy traffic, they get through better. Actually I am crazy, I always take the motorcycle taxis.

Man, you ARE crazy. I only tried that once and I nearly got killed as he passes between two cars that were REAL close together. LOL

Val
Great report and interesting observations.
Tuk tuks are more expensive than taxis for farang not Thai. Since you have to bargain first the driver controls the price. They are much less likely to bargain with a farang figuring we are rich - they are poor , why should they bargain. In the good ole days there were NO metered taxis and you had to bargain with the taxis also. Many a farang got taken for a ride in more than one way. The drivers protested loudly when meters were installed - I'm sure iot cut their take home by half !! You had to know what the real going rate was and hold out for it- sometimes it took refusing a taxi or two but you could get it-- the same applies to tuk tuks now.
As for napkins - have you noticed the Thais rarely even use them ? Not like we do anyway.

Val, this is NOT a good trip report... it's absolutely outstanding! Love the photos and the cerebral content is extremely interesting. Superb my good friend. Guys, you just have to hook up with this cool dude. Extremely big heart and brain, don't be fooled by the "Yanky Doodle" accent folks!

Excellent report, Val, with a lot of useful observations.
"in order to give a fair comparison between Rio and Thailand, I will have to revisit each..." More research is necessary for me too, and I approach that task with the same enthusiasm as you. I hope our paths cross in the quest for knowledge (and pussy).

Love to meet ya Hunterman. I was bummed that I missed meeting Epi in BKK by less than one day. Oh, well. It will all happen eventually

Yes. We DO get around.
I've scheduled some additional research in LOS for October.

A Couple of Anecdotal stories here. On day 2 in BKK, after I had gone on my cherry trip to Lólita's, I went back to the hotel and showered and changed. I had not fully grasped the whole Songkran thing and was still frankly a bit pissed off at how silly and rude the whole affair is. I shot some quick footage of Soi 4 (in front of the Dynasty looking up the street toward the entrance to Nana Hotel and the entrance to NAN Plaza:

A note here. There are several errors in the text above. They were not there when I ran the spell checker, and each time I have tried to "Edit" the post, I get a message telling me there is a format error when I go to post the corrected update. Hombre you might look into this.

I have traveled to many countries and IMHO, Americans are the least racist of any cultural group in the world. It's publicized that we are racist because the media scrutinizes it more but in Asia racism is so engrained in the culture that no one questions it and talking about racism just wouldnt be a news story. Amongst the Asians I have met overseas and in the States, I do believe that Japanese and Thai are by far the most racist and xenophobic people in the world. They call in nationalism but I call it racism. Sounds funny coming from someone like me who has said some racially inflamed statements from time to time but I truly believe this.
