Hola. RT here. As the title indicates, just the facts:

CITY: Lima

COUNTRY: Peru

CONTINENT: South America

GOALS OF TRIP: Eating, Gambling, Mongering. The last two days, I will be at a convention in the outskirts of Lima

DURATION OF TRIP: 6 Days of mongering, 2 Days conventon, 1 more monger opportunity

AIRLINE/COST: American - about $500 from Miami. I upgraded to 1st class with miles

TYPES OF CHICA AVAILABILITY: Many. Outcall (both agency and independent), 'Massage' Parlors, Turkish Baths, Nightclubs, Strip Clubs, and girls you just meet where they might run into tourists with money.

TELEPHONE: The country code for Peru is 51 and the city code here is 1.

CELLULAR SERVICE: Last trip, I rented a phone from a phone store at a fairly reasonable rate. Buying a SIM card for my US phone was about $100, so I passed on it. This trip, my first and last full days are on Sunday, so the phone stores are not open. I probably won't get one this time.

INTERNET CONNECTIONS: There are many internet cafes in town, with prices ranging from $1-$2 per hour. The hotel sold me a 2 hour card for wireless access for $3 (5 hours was $5). It doesn't work in the room, but has plenty of signaal in the lobby. It looks like there are plenty of 'Speedy WiFi' hotspots here, so this may be the way to go.

NOTES: This is my second trip. Last time, I tried to re-invent the wheel and suffered somewhat. I have done a lot more research this time -- we will see how it turns out.
