Monday morning rolls around and I wake up in terrible pain. The combination of cigarette smoke from the casinos, virtually no sleep, all the diesel fumes from the cars and my bad sinuses added up to my feeling like crap this morning. I eat a fistful of ibuprofen and go have breakfast downstairs in the hotel (included with the room). It is amazing that -- for $60 -- you can get a nice room, free food, and a million employees doing whatever is necessary to ensure a good stay. This hotel is highly recommended.
After wandering around my room and moaning, I finally get dressed and head to Plaza San Miguel

ADDRESS: No clue, but it was in the San Miguel area of Lima. The cabbies knew where it is, and it was a whopping $2 to get there.

NOTES: This mall could have been dropped by helicopter and you couldn't tell it apart from all other malls anywhere in the world. Dippin' Dots, bookstores, Sunglass Huts, Department Store anchor, movie theater -- it had it all. The one thing that it didn't have was any tickets left at the box office for Wednesday's Star Wars debut at midnight. I will just have to wait until Thursday. They are showing both the subtitled and dubbed versions here.
The other good thing about the mall is that it is only a block way from the Hotel Sol y Luna Banos Turkos.

COST: 35 Soles for the Sauna & Massage, 120 Soles for the girl, and 5 soles for a soda.
NOTES: When it is time for your massage, you have to choose between therapeutic and, er, not therapeutic. When I chose Macarena, there were two girls available. As I was leaving, there were six to choose from. All cut from the same mold: 23-ish and pretty. BTW, I just hate having sex on a massage table, in any country.

Aside from everything else, the Turkish Bath helped clear my head somewhat, so I was feeling semi-human by then. I walked the mall some more, then just stopped into some random Cebicheria on the street and had a delicious $4 cerbiche. Then I grabbed a cab and headed back to Miraflores. The cabbie's name was Miguel, and he gave me his business card and told me to call him if I needed to go somewhere. There are more cabs then people in Lima, it seems. I probably will call him later in the week, just to reward his business initiative.
I then met some friends and we spent a couple of hours sitting around, talking and drinking coffee. A good time.

All of a sudden, it seems that I forgot how to play Blackjack. If the game was called '22', I would be a millionaire. Disgusted, I walked Pizza Alley, turning down two or three offers, and then headed to Tequila Rock.

NOTES: This is a nightclub where all of the women are available. Think the Blue Marlin with a dance floor, without the gambling and the hotel. The club makes its money on admission (I used a coupon from their web site) and drinks. There is no exit fee or anything. The girls all seem to be very pretty. The quoted prices all seem to be $100 (for what, I don't know). The two times I have taken a girl from there, I paid $80+$20 tip and a flat $100, both for all-nighters.
I was still disgusted with my (lack of) gambling abilities, so I didn't find a date. As I was leaving, a very pretty, little, young blonde caught my eye. I will be back for her, just you wait and see. I went to the hotel to try to sleep.
COMING TUESDAY: A good session at a Banos Turkos, Shopping, Eating, Flirting and I still can't play blackjack.
