Here's an account of two excursions I made over to Rotterdam - the first at the end of last yewarhence pricing in Guilders, the return wasa made this year so you have a Euro reference.

Making a start on Rotterdam

It’s taken me 6 months to get around to indulging in the Rotterdam scene. Den Haag has been keeping me pretty busy, or should I say the women of Den Haag have been keeping me busy. But after exhausting all the privés in town and seeing the same old faces around the Red Light Districts I decided to take an afternoon excursion over to Rotterdam. So sneaking off work after lunch I peddled down to the station and stowed my bike on the “sneltrain” bound for Europe’s largest port. 20 minutes later my quest began. But could I have chosen a worse day for a city cycle tour? Minus 10 degrees and a biting wind blowing off the canals, the coldest Dutch day of the year so far. ¡ Absolute bloody lunacy ! Even more stupid than my midday yomp up and down Phnom Penh Street 63 this October or my ill judged afternoon walkabout along a busy Bangkok Rama IX in pursuit of soapies.

First a few words about Rotterdam. No red light window scene here. Commercial sex is conducted in clubs or the many privéhuizen (private houses) strewn around the city. As far as I know Rotterdam offers the most choice of privéhuizen in the country. Most places advertise in the daily newspaper Algemeen Dagblad. I’ve only just scratched the surface but fully intend to explore every nook and cranny in town and will be using this thread to report my findings. As with other privés in Holland services are available for 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hour.

Emerging from the station into an icy wind I set off towards Gravensdijkwal where I expected to be busy most of the afternoon checking out half a dozen privés. It’s just a 5 minute cycle ride away (maybe 20 minute walk) heading straight out of the station then turning right down Rochussenstraat. On the way I passed Karen’s Home (Rochussenstraat 99a), a privé well reported on the message boards. Being 25 gilders more expensive than the majority of Rotterdam privés (at 250 NGL/hour) I decide to save a visit to Karen’s Home for another day. When I reach Gravensdidjkwal I noticed a few real sleazy looking clubs on the opposite side of the road, OQ Club, Ritz Nachtclub and Nichtclub Lido. Obviously pretty dead mid afternoon; at, I understand, 350-400 NGL for an hour in the bedroom plus a club entrance fee it is unlikely I’ll be gracing these establishments with my custom.

FANTASY

By the time I reach Fantasy, my first port of call, I’m absolutely frozen and in real need of warming up! I really didn’t want to walk straight out of here back into the cold so was keeping my fingers crossed that I’d find fanciable totty here. I was in luck, among the 3 ladies I met was a very pretty and pleasant Dutch bird. The other 2 were in good shape but looked a bit hardcore for my own tastes. The nicest part of encounter in Fantasy was the amazing sensation of having a baking hot soft naked beauty wrapped around my frozen body, a great way to get warm. Apart from that the hanky panky was somewhat passionless, fairly typical of my experiences with Dutch working girls. She was extremely friendly and did everything you’d expect but was somewhat lacking.
The privé itself is clean and functional, nothing special. Prices are 125 NGL for 30 mins, 225/hr.

This is a Thai place with 3 ladies working each shift. Rate is typical for the area at 225 NGL/hr. When I called only 1 of the ladies was free, a reasonably attractive Thai woman in her early 30s. With no hint of a smile when she greeted me I decided to move on and look elsewhere.

Another small apartment with 3 ladies on duty. Here the price is slightly higher at 250 NGL/hr. The only lady free when I arrived, although quite attractive, could not tempt me after my earlier exertion at Fantasy a couple of doors down.

I’d read that the rate here is 225/hr. Unfortunately no answer when I called around, I shall return.

After exploring Gravensdijkwal I grab a beer and a bite before setting off to cross the river to find more women. The Erasmusbrug bridge wiped me out. That long long climb to the peak of the bridge by pushbike with strong icy cold wind in my face was no fun at all. When I reached the other bank I spent 20 minutes on a wild goose chase trying to find Trio at Voetjesstraat 16. There appeared to be no number 16 on the street, should have phoned but had no phone card with me! To make matters worse the lamp on my bike died so I became a cycling hazard waiting to happen. I cut my losses here and cycled a little bit further over to Pleinweg where I did manage to find a couple of great privéhuizen.

By the time I reached Marleen’s my body was again chilled to the bone. It was such a relief to step inside a warm welcoming brothel. Even more welcoming was the cup of hot coffee served up by the manager, the nicest coffee I’ve drunk in Holland! Marleen’s is a pretty small apartment with only 2 working girls but very nicely done out. I was invited to sit with a beautiful Brazilian lady in the lounge and enjoy my coffee. Absolutely no rush here. After chatting to my voluptuous dusky companion for a while I was in no doubt that I’d have a great time in the bedroom. Sure enough my 200 NGL was very well spent, an hour of as close to “girlfriend experience” as you can expect in a short-time commercial setting. Being Christmas I was presented with wrapped present on my way out, a really nice touch.

Warmed from my session at Marleen’s I thought I’d call in at another Pleinweg privé before hitting the dreaded bridge on my way back to the station. I love the Heath Robinson contraptions used to open the doors at these privé apartments – a makeshift pulley system running down the stairs connected to the door handle. Well I suppose it saves the poor maids legs running up and down answering the door to a steady stream of horney punters.

I was delighted to find a really buxom Spanish woman in the lounge with cleavage spilling all over the shop – just my cup of tea! I didn’t even notice the other lady in the room. Anyway I certainly wasn’t going to walk away from this privé without sampling some action. Maybe not as affectionate as my Brazilian up the road but a really raunchy session to conclude my Rotterdam winter excursion. Price here was 225 NGL/hr.

Cycle tour 2nd leg - January 2002

Arrive at central sation and take the 15 minute cycle ride across town and over the Erasmusbrug bridge towards Dordtselaan (unless mentioned otherwise the prices in this area of town start at 50 Euro for a half hour session).

My first port of call, 10:30am and I meet three nice but slightly podgy Eastern European girls. Friendly enough and as I make my excuses to leave one says that it's a shame I called so early before they had chance to put make-up on and make themselves beautiful for me. So sweet.

A few doors down from a small cop shop. The place absoletely reeked of perfume as I approached the door. Only 1 lady on duty and unfortunately not the beauty I was hoping for to tempt me so I moved on.

Big red sign on a lamp-post opposite this apartment with yellow text "Privé 81C". Can't miss it! Later in the day I discovered a couple of these red "Privé" signs.....very handy for your intrepid Privé explorar such as myself. Unfortunately closed all day despite the sign on the door stating it was open Saturdays.

I suspected that this may be an independent woman working on her own butt was hoping for a Privé with a selection of girls. The former proved to be the case. Saskia is a nice lady with an impressive FF chest, unfortunately a little mature for my tastes. Her bedroom is certainly well equipped with S&M gear, as she saw me gazing anxiously at various torture apparatus she assured me of a gentle straight service. Nonetheless I moved on.

LANGE HILLEWEG 190A
A few doors up from Sakia's. This is a Thai massage place with 3 pleasant looking, but not stunning, Thai ladies in when I called.

OK, the next phase of my tour (Strevelsweg) was a bit hit and miss. I picked up 3 addresses from a Dutch message board but was totally clueless as to what lay in store, afraid I still don't read Dutch so no idea as to the content of the messages posted. Strevelsweg is quite close to Dordtselaan and Lange Hilleweg. As I cycled along this street my hopes were raised by the sight of various dodgy looking clubs and massage places, just the sort of area you want to be hunting nookie.

Bleeding great dog started barking as soon as I rang the bell. Hang on, was I at the right place?Serious doubts entered my mind. A burly geezer stuck his head out of a top floor window and starts a conversation with me in Dutch. Oh shit! When he realises I'm English he kindly explains that he's open at 8pm. So I'm still none the wiser, must be some sort of club although it looks just like a residential apartment.

Upwards and onwards. Now a dilhema, two alternative doorbells at number 33A - each with an incomprehensible (for me) message in Dutch. So what to do? I ring them both. No response from either..probably for the best.

At last, a privé open on Stevelsweg! Apart from my canteen lady Danielle is the only Dutch person I've met in 8 months here who doesn't speak a single word of English. Never mind, we were able to communicate and I find out she charges the lowest rate (25 Euros) I found in any privé or club. However she is quite mature and again not quite my type.

As I wended my way down the road I couldn't help but be drawn to a Thai Salon among the half a dozen dodgy looking clubs I saw on the opposite side of the road. After all my cycling exertions I felt that a good trad Thai massage was in order. Damn! Sign on the door...."closed till 14th January".

After a fruitless time in Strevelsweg I cycle back into familiar territory, Pleinweg a very short distance away.

MARLEEN'S
First stop was Marleen's (see report above) where I had such a good time with a Brazilian lady before Xmas. Closed!!!! Why, mangaress assured me it was open Saturdays? Even the sign on the door sates Saturday opening hours!

I was getting frustrated by this stage so head towards 185A for a Thai Massage only to find another closed shop. What is it in this town, must still be holiday season!

I knew I'd be too early but was in the vicinity so cycled the short distance to Club Baby Doll just off Pleinweg (between Marleen's and 185A) for a look see. Sure enough this place looks real dodgy from the outside. Maybe when I'm passing again of an evening time I'll check it out as I read the prices are quite reasonable. I've a sharp eye when it comes to seeking out rumpy pumpy and a few doors down from this Club I noticed a Thai Massage place (privé apartment). Again a blow out, sign on the door said back at 3pm and it was still only 1:30pm.

BAS JUNGERIUSTRAAT 44B
After stripping my tyre for some running repairs I pop over to this privé, only a short distance from the above Pleinweg places. Again no reply and I get a real dirty klook from a kid that walks out of the apartment next door.

The day was turning out to be a fruitless exercise however things were about to change.

Crossing the Erasmusbrug bridge I head back into town bound for Gravensdijkwal. Nobody at 152B takes my fancy, because nobody at 152B were free....all booked up for at least an hour.

Now I'm not a lover of Dutch women. Their matter of fact attituide to sex can set quite a cold mood, more like making the dinner than making love. However later today 3 Dutch ladies put on a particularly good showing to sway my view a little.

A result at long last but I almost walked when I was greeted by a mature lady. But when I took a second look I couldn't believe the body on her. Soft flawless skin and a taught slim busty figure, the body of a 20-something woman. Curiosity got the better of me and I went for it. I was half expecting her body to collapse when she stripped....but no. Everything defied gravity. Quite phenominal, and not an ounce of silicone anywhere. Her old face and young body did not match. I spent the next hour enjoying the pleasures of her flesh immensly all the time trying to avoid coming into contact with her face (does that sound awful! Sorry.). A couple of times she came dangerously close to initiating kissing but I managed to politely avoid a snog.

Another dissapointment. Shop closed for business. But every cloud has a silver lining and I found a great pub on the way to this apartment, NOBBY'S. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

ROCHUSSENSTRAAT 343A
A long way down Rocussenstraat away from town if you're coming from Gravensdijkwal. You'll see one of those red and yellow Privé signs strung up high on the lampost outside. Quite a picturesque setting as the sun went down with the large canal opposite and several ships moored up.
Quite picturesque inside too! I made the mistake of ringing the wrong bell and was introduced to an S&M Domimantrix (this place doubles as a Privé and S&M club). Realising my mistake madam led me through to the lounge where I met 4 quite attractive courtesans including a pretty, tall very buxon blonde Dutch lady. My mind was soon made up and I was soon enjoying the pleasures of a soft silky smooth voluptuous Dutch body. I was impressed with this Privé, really nicely done out with large luxurious rooms. Price was 60 Euros for 30 minutes. My courtesan was an absolute sweetheart in the room.

KAREN'S HOME.....Rochessenstraat 99A
My final port of call. Very swish privé but a bit more expensive than most at 70 Euro for 30 mins (others in the area being 60 and those across the bridge being 50). I met 4 lovely ladies in the lounge but none tempting enough for me so I made my apologies and started walking out. On the way to the door a really cute Dutch girl jumped out of the kitchen to shake my hand. I immediately turned around and went back into the lounge saying I'd changed my mind which caused all the ladies to fall about laughing. My 70 gilders were well spent as I was treated to a delightful time.

So there you have it, a day of mixed success in Rotterdam. I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm unlikely to find any real stunners in the city's Privé scene (maybe someone can prove me wrong) but enough attractive women to keep me reasonably happy. And service seems to be reasonable by Dutch standards. I'll probably make 1 final excursion to finish off my list of privés and check out the places that were closed today.

AN excellent report - It is too bad that Karen's Home was your last visit. It is my favoirte private house. I spent one wonderful day there, taking four of the girls up at different times.

Did you get to visit Club OQ? While expensive, the scene there can be alot of fun.
