President Solitaire Sukhumvit Soi 11 - BKK

Great serviced apartments still. Located well down the Soi 11, there is a 5-10 stroll to Sukhumvit. The Solitaire Suite is 80 Sq M and still nicely furnished with free wireless internet. It has a shower and bath, with separate dressing, study, living and bedroom. 4000 baht per night including breakfast. Has a small, but nice pool and OK, but not great gym. Service is still good, but not quite as good as when it first opened. Still on my favourite list though.

Bella Villa Prima Soi 4 – Pattaya

Located approximately half way down the Soi, less than 5 minutes from the beach. Baht buses where easy to catch either in the Soi or at either end. Good sized room at 46sq m plus small terrace. Basic, but adequate furnishings with bonus of wireless internet, No separate shower, but reasonable sized bathroom. Excellent value at 1,300 baht per night including breakfast. Majestic Grande Sukhumvit Soi 2

Great location, just across from Annie’s and the shortcut to Soi 4. Sukhumvit is a few minutes away, as is Nana Plaza. This is a new hotel, and benefits from that. I had a Grande Deluxe suite at 40 Sq M. The whole hotel had a great feel about it and the rooms although relatively small for the price had a classy feel, with lots of wood and tastefully furnished. I had a open plan bedroom/living study area and a separate dressing area.. The bathroom was big and well done with large separate shower. The towels were big and nice and the bed very comfortable. The in house TV was good too and the bed very comfortable, One drawback was the wireless internet, although good was charged at 150 baht for the hour very expensive and at the price should be included. I paid 3,900 per night. I liked the pool and gym area, the pool was small but beautifully done, made for relaxing. The gym was great, with all new and good quality equipment. There was also good sauna, steam and Jacuzzi facilities in the changing room. I found the service here to be superb.
