DAY 8- Thursday
Walked around Leblon. Nice area, lots of businesses. Ate at Ataulfo cafe...food was good.
After a long walk to and from Leblon, took a nap.
Then surfed the net and my email at Conexao Café on 3 R. Visconde de Piraja, about a block away from Centaurus. Good rates, I think it was $3R for an hour..pretty cheap
That night, my friend ate at this nice restaurant in Ipanema. The name of it was Pax.
It’s on the corner of Rua Barao da Torre and Rua Maria Quiteria, about a block away from Baronnetti nightclub. The food and atmosphere was excellent. The restaurant had an outdoor patio that had nice seating and indoors had the main floor and the upper level. My friend and I dined in the outdoor patio area. The food was very affordable for the level of cuisine (4 out of 5 stars in my opinion by US standards). U gotta love the fine dining in Rio at very affordable costs.
After our nice dinner, we hit Help..it was a good size crowd. Saw my girl Claudia and had to have her again. It was an all night affair( approx 2am-8:30 am). The sex was awesome as usual. Used all the furniture in the hotel room..gotta love sex on the table..
We talked for a while. She tried to teach me some Portuguese..couldn’t roll my R’s, we both laughed about that. Taught her some English, she picked up pretty fast. The next night was my last night in town and she wanted to have dinner with me and spend the last night together..I was cool with that. I’ve grown fond of Claudia very much, not only for her sexual skills and looks, but she had a cool gentle personality. That would be my mistake... DAY 9- Friday
Went to the beach till about 2 PM (ipanema, near Cesar Park). It was kind of annoying...all the Italian tourists were congregated in that area..Seems that GDP’s love the Italian tourists for their flamboyant spending. There were 3 female Italian tourists next to us. They ended up buying tons of things from the beach vendors and this attracted MORE beach vendors to them like crazy..fucking annoying.
We hit up Galito’s grill for the last time..love their cheap food, they prepare the best chicken..
Said goodbyes to the waiters..we got to know them pretty well since we were regulars there for our entire trip. Walked along Ipanema beach for the last time and got some more pictures. Finished packing and rested for a little bit. Then, had to take a cab to Leblon to get some roses for Claudia(couldn’t find any flower shops/vendors near me)
The night came and called Claudia, left a message. Waited..no response..called her dozens of times and left many messages..Fell asleep and woke up the next day..What a way to spend my last night in Rio..Got fucking stood up. Broke the Cardinal rule #1 by falling for a GDP..got burnt by it. But learned my lesson
DAY 10- Saturday
Called her one more time and left a message that I was leaving..She called back and said she wanted to say goodbye to me. She came over to the hotel 20 min later.
She apologized and knew I was fucking pissed. The only reason that I could fathom that she stood me up was that she was “working”, maybe she also was an independent escort outside of Help and had a gig she couldn’t pass up on. I inquired why she stood me up and basically suggested through hand signals (the good old ole finger as a dick through the other hand as a pussy gestures) that she was working. She understood what it meant and she was not happy about it. She was annoyed, but she told me it was her “job” and she knew that I knew what was up. It’s funny, 20 minutes before I have to check out of the room..we started kissing and hooking up. I gave her the roses I bought and she was very happy and surprised. We ended up kissing for a while. Then we exchanged info and I took some pictures of her..She acquiesced...before she didn’t want her pics taken. She told me to keep in touch/call her. She knew that I was really bummed about going home and told me to smile. She said goodbye to my friend and finally, we passionately kissed goodbye.
Bargained for a driver for $40R to the airport from Atlantis Copacabana hotel. Nice ride with A/C. Got some more pics on the way to the airport
The people in GIG airport’s food court were annoying..pushy to try to get you to eat at their establishment. Boarded the plane to GRU..
At GRU airport, was nice..Hated walking all the way around the partition and walking back to board the same plane. Lots of Japanese Brazilians..did not see any Black brazilians.
I heard Sao Paolo was famed for their women. Noticed one beautiful Paulista talking with one dude. I walked past her while we were waiting to reboard the plane and I looked at her for merely a few seconds and then I was a good 30 feet away and then turned my head to look at her cuz that’s how stunning she was. I thought she gave me the OK sign to me. I read that the OK had gesture means “You asshole” in Brazilian culture..What fuck? I wasnt leering at this girl, I was briefly checking her out. Finally board the plane back to the states..my buddy got off in Miami and I finally ended up in NYC.
Overall, it was truly a once in a lifetime experience, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Even the part with Bhanji and getting stood up the last night with Claudia. Claudia is a great girl regardless of what happened. We still keep in touch and last time I talked to her a couple weeks ago..I think she works for Bob’s now (I think corporate..not the actual fast food joint) and was down in Sao Paolo doing something for Bob’s for the Coca Cola Vibezone concert in Sao Paolo. Thought she might be “working”, but her story checked out.
My buddy that came with me on this trip is in Rio right now as I write this ending and gave me the lowdown on the scene right now. He didnt run into Claudia at Help at all.. Mostly different chicks there and at the termas with a few familiar faces.
Cant wait to go back to Rio..which will be coming REALLY SOON..(July8-17)
Looking forward to seeing Claudia..but definitely will hit more termas the 2nd time around..Want to try Solarium, terma 65, and possibly centaurus. The first time I did 4x4 and luomo.
Definitely want to try more chicks also...heh heh
