Back in Bangkok Day 1

It took a lot of persuading of myself to not go back to the Solitaire, but I wanted to try somewhere nearer Nana, so I took a chance and stayed at the Majestic Grande. I do not regret it. I paid the same price as the Solitaire (100 baht less at 3,900), for a room exactly half the size, but everything was good quality, the bed very comfortable and the service impeccable. I also ended up liking the gym and pool better too. Breakfast was a step up as well. Overall the Solitaire is better value for money and remains my favourite, but I would stay at the MG again. I would not recommend the lowest rooms they were too small and did not have a separate shower. On point on the shower it did not drain quickly so you had a puddle with you all the time you were in it, especially if you follow your lady.

Once unpacked I went over to Nana to see Dave. Well the sight that greeted me was not what I expected, virtually the whole of Nana was closed with girls mulling about everywhere. I saw Matt at the bottom of the stairs and he explained to me about a fire the night before which had taken out the electric supply and all the pain of trying to get through the Thai red tape to fix it. Still I was greeted at AW with lots of smiles and hugs and made to feel very welcome. Dave came over and said hello, then I felt a pair of hands around me and saw a big smile, yes it was my Noi, boy was I happy to see her. I was spoilt, as I got some drinks with ice and we chatted while awaiting news. In the end we went into a non-air conditioned bar, lit by candles with no dancing and no music. It was different and it was fun. In the end the decision was made to stay closed for the night. Where all the girls went I do not know, but there must have been 100’s free that night.

I was hungry, I asked Noi if she wanted something to eat and she surprised me by saying she wanted a cappuccino. We went back to the Majestic and went in the Italian restaurant there. I ordered a pizza which they warned me was big, Noi ordered a salad and the coffee. A very good band was playing, taking requests and the service was superb. They served some very good bread and when the pizza came it was very good. All in all I liked the restaurant; it was expensive considering what I had been spending on Thai food, but still reasonable for the type of place and ambiance. It was made better as when I asked if I could book it to my room - they said fine and I would get a 20% discount … nice one MG. I fancied a dance to work off the pizza so we got a taxi to CM2.

I thought CM2 would be quiet on Sunday, but tonight was one of the best nights I have spent there. As soon as we arrived Noi saw a friend and she took us over to a corner near the stage where there was about 7 girls strutting their stuff. Noi knew all of them and at least two I recognised from Angelwitch, one being the girl I had taken with Noi and the Mamasaan to Coliseum on my last day in BKK before going to Pattaya. This made for a great evening, I thought as the only farang (and male) in the group I would be hammered for drinks. I volunteered the one round and got absolutely no pressure to buy more. I had a great time dancing with all the girls and they seemed pleased to have a man to dance with. Noi was superb, she danced like a dream and there was no problem with me dancing with the other girls. I did feel she kept an eye on me though. The band was great too, really on top form this night. I certainly was happy I had returned. We stayed until the end, but I wish we could have gone on as I was having too good a time. On leaving I said goodbye to all the girls and the one I had taken with Noi got a bit forward on the saying goodbye front. I thought Noi did no notice but she did mention it, albeit very nicely later, she just wanted to let me know she was watching and I suspect the other girl got a word in her ear later too!

Back in the hotel Noi and I got on better than ever, she was proving to be so funny and a great companion. She showered before me so when I got in bed she was watching TV, no problem though as she had discovered the porn channels and to my surprise wanted to watch one. She was particularly interested in seeing western women so we settled down and watched some porn flicks for an hour, what a surprise! Sex after that was great, she really let go and left it in no doubt she was enjoying herself. At last I felt she was really relaxed with me.
