not only did she speak perfect english, but she had an english accent. I learned that she lived in England for 3 years...it is strange, you may find a girl to speak english, but in brasil with an accent....

Gr8ter, I am glad you like my wifes taste in purses....I do not know if I am just to conservative, old fashion or what....but my wife has jeans with holes in them, similar to the jeans you can see on smirkers sabryna pic 2. My wife does not think twice about flying half way around the world, board one of the elite cruise lines for a 2 week cruise through the Baltics (have the ship photographer take your boarding pic wearing jeans with holes), and have all these elite blue hairs all around with their minks….just remember this is fashion.

In Brasil there is not only the elites, but the super elites. These are the ones who have absolutely no concept of money. It is these people who own private helicopters for their mode of transportation. This is more common in Sao Paulo than Rio.

One of my wifes favorite places to shop in Sao Paulo is: http://www.daslu.com.br/ with a heliport on the roof. This is the type of store that caters to the needs of the customer.

I have been to weddings in Sao Paulo with 850 guests; full orchestra in the church, reception at the Jockey Club Sao Paulo, with a swing band as you enter and then the party breaking into two rooms, with live video feed from one room to the other. Open bar, food, live orchestras in each ball room, wedding parties where I have left at 2:30am and the party is still going strong. This is a different life than what we know or see.

I have been to birthday parties for 1 year olds that have cost more than some weddings in the states.

We have all heard of the thieves coming down from the favela’s blocking the traffic on the road and robbing all of the cars. The families of the elite and super elite have cars with bullet proof glass. Now what is happening is that the robber knows that the car has bullet proof glass (because the windows are up); so what does he do…he goes to the car in front and threatens to shoot them; thus leaving the blood on the hands of the person who can afford safety.

Always remember, Brasil is a different culture, different way of life. The girls that work the program do it for money to support their families, not drugs as in the u.s. I have met a few GDP's that work only for the extras and work when they want.

I met M's sister about 1 year ago. Actually I thought at first this girl was the sister until I got close and saw the slight differences.

I do not understand the dislike of Help girls, I have always thought it to be fun....sometimes, i believe if you just go to the terma....it is like going to the grocery store and picking the items you want to put into your shopping cart; to easy. At least with help,you have to attempt to talk to them.

Anyway, I watched several guys go up to this girl, talk for a few minutes and the girl walks away. We have to try to learn at least a little portuguese....I heard one guy say abra cadabra instead of obrigado.

I know where you are coming from with Help...however, for me, most of the talent has been pretty bad...you have to put up with a lot of aggressive ugly chics and sometimes the other dudes hanging out there are not neccessarily my kind of folks (not all of them, some of them). In addition, I feel that the Help neighborhood is the main area to rip-off tourists...most of them have R$300-$R500 in their pocket...however, notwithstanding the forgoing, you are right, it can be fun chatting with the girls...

i have learned that brasilians have no concept of time. on what was to be my last day in rio, she wanted to play a little extra prior to flight. anyway, i arrived at the co check in at 5:59 (1 hour and 1 minute prior to flight) the worker at the check in looked at my bags and made the comment....well i do not know if your bags will make the flight, well ok one more day i rio. my namoranda had promised her brother she would be home early, and i told her no problem, i will go back to the hotel for the night.

she knows i like to see jacqueline for a massage at luomo and she tells me to go get a massage, but not to spend any time with any of the girls....again...just like my wife...the cheese is on the plate..do not take the cheese...

Suzy came up the boite my last time in Luomo and started chatting, and I barely recognized her. When I last saw her last year, she was blonde and at least 10-15 pounds lighter. I thought she had gone to Europe to work but either she or maybe one of the other garotas told me she had gone to Northern Brasil to work for a while. i have been trying to get air to brasil anytime during the next couple of weeks and it is booked solid...

if you like auto racing, brasil is one of best places to go to watch the races.....my brother in law races stock cars as a hobby.....

i know about 2 years ago, my mother in law had a car stolen....she lives two homes away from the mayor of campinas....she mentioned the incident to the mayors wife...who talked to the mayor...who talked to the police and stated that he wanted the car found......within 24 hours they received a call telling them where the car was.....upon visual inspection...the vin number was already changed...the car was ready for shipment to bolivia or another south american country.....in short...the police were involved.....as i stated....influence is probably more important....also....as one of our brothers reported about his friend being shaken down by the cops...claiming he was involved in drugs unless he went to his atm to give them money.....

now that i am thinking about this....my luck will be that i am somewhere...that gets raided....and i need to call the family for help...wonder what they will do????
