After landing in Bangkok I once again got that feeling I get only when arriving there. I feel like I'm back home and this is where I belong. I had a great time in AC and was looking forward to returning in 5-7 days , but there is still no place that rivals Thailand for me. When I am walking down that long hallway to get to immigration and I hear the announcements in Thai a sense of anticipation grows as I think about what the upcoming days will hold.

Immigration was a snap- no one in line and this time Phil Air delivered my bag in a reasonable time. Walking thru the gauntlet of Thai people lining the walkway on either side is an experience. You can spot the obvious bargirls waiting for their ATMs, the circling touts and sleaze balls trying to get your attention and who the f**k knows what the seemimgly hundreds of other people are there for. The taxi touts are becoming much more prevalent and aggressive. I ignore them of course , but if you are new to LOS -- DO NOT listen to anything anyone says if they come up to you unsolicited. One of these slime came up to me and asked " taxi sir ?' I said I would use a meter taxi. He said -" Yes , I bring you meter taxi- only 500 baht to Bangkok. " If you don't know any better you might think this crap is legit . I laughed at him and said in Thai -- Bullshit I"ll use a real meter taxi not yours. He quickly left me alone and went off looking for an easier mark.There are many like him offering everything from being tour guides to getting you women. Stay away from all these guys and now increasingly often girls who want to offer you " help".

I walked the few extra feet to the meter taxi stand and was quickly on my way. The fare was 135 baht and the tollway fees have been reduced since my last visit. I think it was only 40 baht I really can't remember. Pulled up at President Solitaire in no time and checked in with no trouble. I've been there so many times now and I'm so tall that everyone remembers me . From the doorguys to the desk girls and security guys all said hello again and welcomed me back. This place has become my second home. As I was there for only one week I had reserved one of the Penthouse suites. Room 1404. This was perhaps the worst room I have ever had at P.S. Besides that the aircon barely worked . After about 2 hours the room was barely cool, so I called the front desk and I was quickly transferred to another room on the same floor.This was the room Da and I stayed in on the long trip when we were happy together so it brought back a lot of memories, but I was going to create a lot of new memories . The air con was cold and life was all good.

I showered , unpacked and got a text from WickedWilly welcoming me to town. We arranged to hook up later that evening. We were both at P.S so it was easy to meet in the lobby. We were off to NEP and hit AngelWitch to meet Dave the Rave. He was a very busy guy with a big bar to run , but took a lot of time to make sure we were well taken care of. I was never a big fan of Angelwitch but there were many girls dancing that could definitely be on my to do list. We had a few drinks then Dave offered to take us over to Rainbow I which was just opening. Neither WW nor I needed a tour guide , but walking into a bar with the Mamasan's husband has to be worth something. Indeed , we were seated up front at the stage and the place was packed. Met Dave's lovely wife Ann who was an equally good host. Dave introduced me to several of the ex Hollywood girls who ran over to meet him . I met Bee who was a stunner for sure but I just did not click with her personality wise. I had long planned on BFing her after seeing her pics , but a few words exchanged convinced me otherwise. I met several others- Ae, Apple, cannot remember the rest. The bar was loaded with hotties and spinners. The Rainbow group had shifted all their superstars here for the Grand Opening. I had not slept the night before as I had to leave AC at 5 AM to get the flight. I came straight from the bars to my room - picked up my luggage and hit the road. I told Por she could go home if she wanted to- hoping she would leave . She seemed surprised but sensed I think that I wanted her to go so she said " up to you ". Gee never heard that before. I promised her I would see her again and after that she said OK and left. I got a well needed night's sleep and woke up about 2 PM I believe.

The next night we repeated our start at AW and met Mano Pederosa .He told us that Dali on Soi 33 was having a party that night and invited us to meet him there later. I guess he is a more or less regular there. WW and I this time hit Rainbow 4 next. I did not like the layout all that much and there was nowhere to sit . The place was wall to wall girls and customers- SRO. We turned around and off to Rainbow I again. Sat down and Por was immediately at my side. We stayed there for a while- WW and I bought Ann few drinks . Por was anxious to go with me again , but we had promised Mano we would meet him at Soi 33. I told Por where we were going and told her if she was still there when I got back I would BF her. She said OK awe grabbed a taxi . The BKK cops are screwinf with traffic again so you cannot catch a cab going towards Soi 3 if you need to turn right on Sukhumvit. The cops do not allow U turns on Suk anymore and have closed the shortcut thru Bumrungrad Hospital. Now you have to walk across Sukhumvit and hail a cab going that way already. Pain in the ass but TIT.

As it turned out the trip was not really worth it. There was one girl who was free that was not bad at all , but the whole atmosphere was dead and nothing was happeneing. Going from a pulsating go go to the laid back Dali club was like walking out of a disco and entering a funeral. We had one drink said hello to Mano Pederosa who had someone on his arm and quickly got back to the land of the living. I'm not knocking Soi 33 it has it's charms and I have had good times there , but this was definitely not one of them. If I remember right WW had a friend of his with him - I cannot remember his name- I am terrible with names. WW wanted to show him CM2 but I had other plans so we went our seperate ways.

I barely got into the door before Por pounced on me like a tiger. I barfined her immediately and we sat down and had a few drinks to get a bit " lubricated". Mama Ann joined us from time to time as did several of Por's friends. I did not get the sense that threesomes were available with any of mPor's friends but it did not matter. She had more than satisfied me by herself and I was anxious to repeat the experience. Once again she did not disappoint. This trip since I was without Da for daytime company I renewed an old habit of mine of hanging out in the beerbar all day getting to know a whole bunch of girls. I don't drink alchohol during the day but have ice tea or plain soda. There is some serious talent here in the daytime. I have never gone at night but I would think it would be at least as good. Who knows ?? I never barfined any of the girls until the last 2 night I was there. I find if you barfine one then the rest are suddenly off limits in the mind of the girl you BFed as well as the other girls. They do not want to start problems and you are now off limits. That ruins the atmosphere. What a buzzkill that story was . I tried to avoid her after that. She could not remember any of it and certainly did not remember relating her story. Thus she blamed Bun for turning me against her. Again only in SEA do young beautiful girls fight over old dudes like me ( or at least my money ). That last night I took ,I think, six girls to Coliseum including the mamasan. Had a blast and we were surprisingly joined by WickedWilly with several more girls later that night. A great end to a great trip. If there is no one there- sure call someone from business or economy over to check in , but don't let them line up ! Charge em first class fare if they want to do that. I'm not an eleteist but I want the service I pay for damn it . That was not the problem however. When I finally get to the desk they ask if I live in Phillipines. I say no I live in LA. He asks to see my ticket from Manila to LA.I say it's in the hotel safe in Philipines. This guy has the nerve to tell me that PI immigration has a very strict policy that you must show an outbound ticket to somewhere else when you enter PI. i laughed and said they had NEVER asked to see a ticket to anywhere. He said he would not let me board this plane unless I had a ticket out of PI. Now I had to go to PI ticket office and buy a ticket somewhere. The cheapest ticket was Manila to Hong Kong for $247. I was pissed off big time. The idiot told me don't worry the ticket is refundable at any PI ticket office. Well there is no office in AC and as it turns out none in LA either. The only one in US is in San Francisco. Nice. By the way . No one in PI asked to see my ticket . It never left my pocket. Anyone want a one way ticket Manila to Hong Kong ?? LOL

I love Morning Night bar...it is my hangout when I am in BKK. The girl that I met the first time I went to that bar was the best girl I ever met in Thailand. She never asked for money. The only time she really ever asked me for anything was when she wanted to go to Chiang Mai to see her sister. She owned a bar just outside the city. A Thai bar. I went there, they brought food...and drink.. I think I paid 600 baht all together. they would not take my money. The girl that I met was amazing. This trip in September, will be very different for me. I have not talk to this girl since Feb. I think she met someone new. go figure, she was really nice.

I know what you mean about practicing Thai, not the best place to do it...but so much fun none the less.

Morning Night has definitely replaced my former daytime hangout Golden Bar in Nana Hotel much more fun and the girls are way hotter.
Actually this trip WW and I hit Soi Zero one afternoon as he had never been. It's a great place to kick back in a less hectic environment and there are still some rare gems to be found there. The drinks are much cheaper- especially the lady drinks. I think I bought all the girls 4-5 rounds and the bin was well under a grand.

KM-- natural selection and evolution has resulted in a nearly identical routine for me. Those months have good weather, flights are cheap, and there's fewer cocks to trip over. I stick too it without really trying-- well except for last year when my Oct trip turned into a Oct, nov, dec, jan, feb, march trip... My least favorite month thus far in LoS was December.

I think mongers should experience both BKK and Pattaya because BKK still has a lot to offer, as the guys can see from your discerning observations. I also believe IMO that some of the Rainbow BG's would match any BG's in Pattaya. With all four Rainbow bars in action R-1, R-2, (R-3 isn't up to much) and R-4 these bars have an astounding selection of attractive go-go girls. With many former Hollywood BG's flocking to R-1 & R-4 this has definately loaded up their talent count. Several other bars like Play Skool have lost a lot of BG's to the Rainbow bars too.

I have to agree with Ironmanx02 that Soi 33 has an artificial aura with mutton dressed as lamb! The wealthy ex-pats here like the experience but I think it's a false fantasy and in Nana Plaza you can see clearly what you are getting involved with. However at least Soi 33 is another asset that BKK has over other cities.

Thanks for adding the photos. You are right anyone visiting Thailand should experience both Bangkok & Pattaya. In my opinion Bangkok has more to offer these days and the bars seem to be more up-scale than Pattaya. Khun Mor very good write up and thank you for sharing.
