The following is a list of what I will be bringing to LOS with me.
I have tried to make it as complete as possible, but I know I will have additions later. If you have any suggestions please post them as well. I am a strong believer in the "distribution of resources” when I travel. So if piece of luggage is lost or stolen, I will still have some of the essential things I need.

xenono:
great list, here are some other thoughts:
1. mylanta or pepto bismol - yah never know.
2. sanitizing hand lotions/rub - just rub on your hands and thats it - kills germs and other nasty stuff.
3. extra dv tapes for camcorder
4. leather case to put important documents in that you can drop into your hotel safe conveniently.
5. gifts for gals (perfumed soaps and perfume) - go to tjmaxx or marshalls for some really cheap stuff.
6. photocopy or record of credit card numbers in separate location.
7. address of amex and us consulate in los
8. massage oils - again tj maxx or body shop
9. combination locks so that you can lock your bags and other luggage when you leave room - some are made perfect for luggage and are pretty strong.
hope these help and keep us posted

X.
Also multi vitamins to survive the long trip.
How about some Sudafed in case you get a runny nose.
Did you buy your Sony Cam from an internet store?

Key vitamins for longevity in the sack are:
L-Arginine amino acid- will extend the amount of girls you can be with and has no side effects.
Glycine- ditto
Saw Palmetto extract- An herb which strengthens the prostate gland allowing for better orgasms and longer sessions.
Zinc- Take about 200 mgs a day

Xen,
I'd suggest taking some Immodium, or some Lomotil, in case you get a bout of the 'runs' during your trip.
Lomotil will require a script from your doc, but most MDs I know will write one for someone who is traveling to Asia. (I've never had trouble getting the script) Or, you might try a MX drug store for this stuff. (anyone with experience on this one?)
There are very few illnesses that can screw up an adventure quite like a case of the 'trots'. And, IMHO it is MUCH easier to go with the goods to deal with it, rather than trying to buy it in the LoS.

You should have seen us together, me with a backpack and properly sized carry on and Xen with three huge suitcases. You'd think he was moving there.
Blazers, do you have any additional info on the first three vitamins you mentioned? I'm thinking about bringing those for my next trip.

That's so funny! I saw Xen's list. This is by far the most organized list I have ever seen. Not only did Xen tell us what he was bringing, but why he bought the item in the first place via the reviews. I thought it was great! Thanks, Xen. The report was great, too. Did it take longer to put together the report than the actual trip itself, all hours told?
