Lots of information on this site about how to get to Batam and how to obtain a visa so I wont bore you with those details. This is a report about a bunch of guys from the board who all ended up at Batam Island at the same time and how small a town Nagoya really is. I stayed in Batam for 4 nights and stayed again at the Island View Hotel. The other hombres that were already in town were as follows: Don Marco, Socrates, Porker, MongerX, Crazier, and Porker's two travel mates but I cant remember their handles right now. There were others I believe but I cant recall right now.

Some things that I noticed on this trip:

1. Having a wingman is crucial in Batam and Don Marco and I cruised the discos and booking joints together and had a blast. I had just spent a week in Angeles partying with him every day so the transition was smooth. Interesting that we were at each other's throats on the board before we met and we got along like brothers once we met. Give yourself a chance and meet some other board members because many guys like Epi, MongerX, DM, Socrates, Wall Street and Porker I consider friends for life and I would have never met them if it were not for this board.

2. The selection on the weekends is extremely limited in the booking joints and discos. The booking joints are invaded by Singaporean weekend warriors who book the girls ahead of time or come into the joints in huge groups and play point and pay. 90% of the hotties will not be available on the weekends at booking joints. Another thing I learned when at a booking joint is to never let the Chinese-Sings know which girl you are interested in. They are the ultimate poachers. As soon as they see you point at a girl or show interest, they get the papasan or mamasan and they pay the fee. Some sort of cultural ego thing.

3. The booking joints were in full swing on my last day which was a weekday and there were plenty of hotties at Hollywood, Sedona, and Queens 99. I dont see any one booking joint standing out too much as every joint has a couple of cuties, maybe one hot girl and a bunch of average girls. Very similar in the dispersal of talent as to Angeles City although Angeles City talent is better when the place is peaking.

4. Going to a pujasera early in the evening is a lot of fun. My first night there we had the whole gang there and it's nothing but good times and great seafood(relatively great seafood).

5. Going to Pacific Disco on a Saturday night is not a good idea. All the locals are spending every last cent of their paycheck and the place is miserably crowded, loud, dark and tons of dense bidi smoke. Thursday is the best night to go as it is ladies night.

6. Went to an incredible restaurant right by Island View hotel that serves traditional Indonesian food in a traditional setting. Ate there with MX and his date and my date and it was great times. Maybe MX can remember the name of the place.

7. Dvd's are still a good buy at any of the malls and many now contain dual layered copies which contain up to 3 movies. I also purchased a nice leather laptop case by Mont Blanc that has still held up well for about $30. Fresh juice is about 50 cents and is great stuff. Fairly decent small Indo restaurants in between the two plazas and the food is about $2 for a plate.

8. Tough to tour booking joints with guys who have similar tastes as you(DM) As you will be drooling over the same hot girl in the joint and one of you will leave a loser.

9. Working girls and bule's in Batam is like going to a small high school. Everyone ends up fucking the same girls. Here is an example of the monger tree that developed in a couple of days: Ayu came looking for me on the first night at the Pujasera and she was with Socrates the night before. The girl that Soc was with the night I was with Ayu was a booking joint girl that I booked a couple of days later. DM booked a girl from Hollywood one day and then Soc was with her the next day while we were eating at a restaurant. DM also booked a girl at Queens 99 ( I think) that was with Soc the week before that. etc etc.

I didnt get pics of a couple girls I was with. I had a great time with a girl I think was with Soc one night. I'm usually not such a poacher but she was giving me signals across the table which I thought were rude but she is a little party girl so I guess thats that. When I arrived at her booking joint Jungle Minda, she was all over me when I entered the door. I declined but thought about it and then just decided to book her the next day. I figured out the town is limited with cute girls and eventually each cutie will go through the entire football team like high school and there is always the one girl that everyone on the team has banged and is charming...(Ayu)

I was thinking about avoiding Ayu on just a short trip but it was impossible. She was txting Mx constantly and evidentally had been counting down the days until my arrival. Mx stated that she was crying and upset that I hadnt contacted her yet. I felt bad and talked to her and she arrived in a nice dress with wet hair about 20 minutes later. Anyways, on this day (a Tuesday) the Sings were all out of town and she was very enthusiastic when I got there and luckily DM was interested in her friend sitting next to her(who coincidentally was with Soc the following day). I decided to take her short time as I wanted to check out the disco later and paid the 150,000. She was all over me in the taxi and the session was solid. She has a kid so her body was a bit soft and tits slightly deflated but still a very pretty girl IMHO. If you dont find this girl attractive, dont bother going to Batam because it doesnt get much better than this.

As for the hombre recommendation, I fully agree.... U usually know right off if you'll gel with someone or not once u spent 30 minutes with them. The restaurant is called Batam Kuring and it serves Sunda Styled Food (from the region in the mountains south of Jakarta (Bogor-Bandung etc).
You should try the Gurami Goreng when you next visit as it's the highlight of the choices there. Mx loved it.

Many Indonesians and foreigners consider the Sundanese girls some of the prettiest of the Indonesians but they are also known to be very money-minded.

Thanks for telling me that my old almost unused tee-shirt is worth a bomb. Now, I've been using it quite a few times and it's developed a hole! That probably makes it worth just a little more for authenticity!

The term I would use is curious, not quite interested. Batam Kuring is a real good restaurant with a great ambiance. It is right next door to the Island View Hotel. If you have some long pants, you might want to wear them as it is dining al fresco. You can actually see the roof the covers part of the restaurant out of your hotel window in the Hollywood spinner pics.

Of course you report has some of the big presumptious statements we have come to love and expect. But I ain't gonna pick on them as I have to get ready to meet Hunterman and Porker later today for some fun in Batam for a few days before we head of to J-town for some debauchery.

Dongringo...this isnt Brazil....those girls love to pose nude and most of the girls(even the freelancers) are professionals. They are much more sexual in South America than girls in Asia. You can easily get average and fugly girls to pose nude. I pick the FOB types who wont do it...no matter what. Some will in the Philippines and Thailand but it really takes away from the spontaneity of the sessions. Taking pics totally interrupts the flow. It doesnt for Brasilianas because sex is a hobby for them and the are pro ho's.

I take that as a direct response- I'm not sure where you got the idea that I was picking on him-- in fact I complimented him as having chosen very cute spinner types that were better most. I also made the point that most of us in SEA have similar preferences, which is why we often end up barfining the same chicks either unknowingly or knowingly... Could not agree more with your statements about photos. I am totally with you in that regard as I feel asking about taking pics destroys everything I try to build that evening . I treat most of my barfines like dates because by the time I agree to BF them I have formed some type of relationship already. Sometimes pictures flow naturally in the course of the night. I always leave my camera in a conspicuous place in the hotel room and many times the girl will ask for her picture to be taken. If not ,I am not going to push it. My experience is as yours-- when I have asked to take pics it is a major downer on the way things are going.
To ask for a nude pic would just about guarantee a bad night with a majority of SEA girls. If she starts stripping- I'll keep clicking. Otherwise forget it.

Thanks for the info.I'm sorry to say that I haven't been able to get permissiom from any of the girls I've been with to show their faces. None of these girls families know what they are doing for a living and the consequences they face are devistating to say the least. While I was down on my last trip Travelsrr favorita was approached by someone with his report in hand complete with photos. To make a long story short, she was fired from her job, her family disowned her and her child was taken away by the courts then she had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized. I would love to hang out with some of the guys from the board. I dont think anyone here has a bad character, but there is the issue of trust. Some of us have a pressing need to go on our "vacations" anonymously. Its the above bits of "in-fighting" which could create a bad situation for myself on the home front. Lets say someone gets a hold of my name and googles or zabasearches it. Its not hard to find out a lot of particulars of my life. Some quick emails of pictures of me on these vacations to certain individuals could change my situation for good. As well, there is always the case for blackmail. I am not exactly a poor individual. When I ever see anyone taking pictures, I turn away from the camera as if a gun is being drawn. I try to avoid talking to other males while on the trip and hide away all documents that contain any identifying information (from the girls especially). Its nothing personal, but a guy has to be careful. You never know when someone is going to get pissed at you for whatever reason then who knows what they will do next.

Blazers, I can't quite bring myself to speak ill about Batam, but when I returned from Jakarta and hooked up with the Indo WIFE again, I was bored SILLY. Part of it was that it rained every day, and my ultimate wingman and drinking buddy, Mx, had returned home, and part of it was that I was severely PUSSYWHIPPED, but I gotta say that Batam is a LOT more fun with a group and a lot LESS exciting with a 'girlfriend'.

Mx and some Indo amigas have reported that the discos in Batam have experienced a lot of law enforcement crackdowns and are suffering from it. Many girls apparently go for the X and aren't in the habit of carrying ID, which is apparently a double whammy. When combined with the general trend among the Singapore weekend warriors to avoid Batam altogether due to the gambling crackdown, sounds like the FUN in Batam is quickly getting choked out of it. Which, of course, SUCKS.

Also funny how the guy recently proseletizing about 'poaching' is so nearly removed from the Batam experience that's rationalized as some sort of communal competition over a limited number of hotties. Sounds like the 'monger ethics' are followed at ones' convenience.

Oh, and for those giving excuses about photos and how it impacts a session, I strongly disagree. IMO there is a way to approach getting photos (I'm the FUCKING BOSS) and a way to approach it like some wimp who has too much 'respect' to whip out the camera when he hears an initial no with a girl throwing her hands in front of her face. How I reacted in this situation as opposed to another monger is so far different from each other, you might as well be comparing Aurora Borealis and Pluto. I have never directly poached on another guys girl in front of him, especially when it has been made obviously clear to me that it is a hands off situation. I dont assertively go after other guys dates while they are there, talk shit about them when they are not around or attempt to cockblock them in any way, shape or form. Not saying other guys have done that....but I have not nor will I ever do so. I may be an asshole on the board sometimes but I have an understanding of inegrity and "bros before hos" when mongering. If Soc would have told me that he had serious intentions with the Jungle Minda girl, i would not have booked her even though she attacked me. The only time I inadvertantly poached was when I fucked BTR when you werent around but I did not pursue that nor did I ever talk shit about you to her...quite the opposite.

6-7, 25%, 38% < seems I tend to pick many more in this cat than you % wise, meanwhile where are you picking more from-- let's see...
5-6, 37%, 41% < wash, nope not here...
4-5, 8%, 0% < upps there's some
3-4, 2%, 0% < upps a few more

Dude, that used to be your SPECIALTY. Seems that every incremental GRAND you spent on camera equipment stripped away layer after layer of the RAUNCH. Were someone to be continually negative about my trip reports I would laugh and agree with them. My TRs are a JOKE. Most were written in the space of a few hours. A few useless words thrown together allowing me an outline to post some pics. I'm 99% certain my awards on the TR front are more mercy from Hombre then approval from my adoring fans. Now, my photos? I spend weeks going over them: adjusting exposure, cropping, etc. Where do I concentrate my time and energy? What part do you think is more important to me?

Now, I believe our priorities are reversed. You've literally invested MONTHS writing Porker's Unabridged Trip Report Vol 1-20. What's your word-to-photo ratio - 1,000,000:1? It's obvious what you care about and what you spend your time/energy developing.

This is the ONLY public venue where I share ideas, comments and photos. I also share my pics privately, but I tend to share with quite a few interesting people and not all of them are looking for pink. I've mellowed a bit over the last few years and now have enough pink shots on my HD at home I'm not burning to acquire more.

What interests me? Catching that pic I could see in a magazine. Yeah, Hustler might not be interested in my latest work but I'm not working for Larry Flynt (wish I was!!).

I write reports to re-live the moments, pics are simply evidence. As I have often advised you, make 'art' for YOURSELF before casting your pearls at 'swine' here. I truly appreciate the direction Epi's photography has taken, and the time and effort he has put into perfecting his craft. I think he and Bahtman submit the best photos on this board, hands down. I much prefer to view Epi's art shots than to see yet another terribly lit pic of a vagina.

Murasaki-- I think Epi has done a AWESOME job and certainly agree that pic wise BM and him are hands down tops. However, it's not a matter of outoffocusdimlylitcuntshot vs episfaceshot, I think the point is that we agree epi is one of the best at "capturing the moment". I may be swine, but I enjoy when Epi brings the same care and quality to his raunch shots. I also enjoy his rated PG shots, he foots the bill for his gear, and donates his time, so I ain't got a gripe... keep that shutter going either way ep!
