I awoke early in the morning to do some work at the internet café. Had informed her to sleep before we turned in. The internet cafés never did open before 9am so I wasted a good hour just going from one café to another without success. Went back to the Metropole Hotel’s wifi system and unfortunately, it would not allow my paid password to work properly. By the time I managed to get into the internet and finish my work, it was nearly 10am. I roused her from sleep with a phone call and asked her to meet me in the hotel coffee shop. We had breakfast and then packed for the day’s activities around the island.

First, we drove to the money changer to get Thai bahts for me and I returned her the money I had borrowed the previous night. We also went to pay up for the next day’s private charter of a speed boat. All of 2550 bahts per person x 2.

Soon, on our way to the beach areas. As it was her first trip, I pointed the car towards Patong Beach. As we passed, I showed her the main pointers of the place.

Without stopping there, I motored on towards Karon Beach and stopped for a drink at a view point overlooking Karon. Some pictures and the drinks consumed, we moved on passed Karon beach.

We took the beach road at Kata (after Karon) and she asked to stop for some photos there near the Club Med property & beach.

Then, on the high road towards the major view point of “the three-beaches of Kata Noi, Kata and Karon. Just as we turned up the steep ascent, I realized that the car had run out of fuel. For some stupid reason, I had not read the meter of the fuel gauge correctly and had assumed the car was handed over with a full-tank. On the steep slope, I allowed the car to roll back slowly and parked it awkwardly on that slope.

At the nearby hotel, I enquired and was pointed to a small vendor of fuel just 80 metres away. Lucky us! The vendor was not sure if the fuel she was selling was suitable for our vehicle. Phoned the car hire people and had them speak to the vendor and it was determined that the “Super 95” was suitable. I bought enough to get us to the nearest gas station later.

Just a few kilometers ahead, the 3-beach viewpoint provided another photo opportunity for her and she was expressively enjoying herself.

The more she did, the more she hugged me close to her!

At Nai Harn Beach, we left our clothes in the car and went laid our beach towels in the sand close to the Phuket Yacht Club Hotel Its my favourite stretch of beach and the waves were hurling one after another onto the beach.

With the South West monsoon blowing in, this is typical at this time of the year. While it was the rainy season, the sky was blue and there was no sign of anything amiss – just pure sunshine!

We spent a bit of time in the waves and allowed it to crash into us over and over again. No, it was impossible to truly swim. More a case of standing waste deep and just testing your ability to remain on your feet as the never ending waves come rushing it at you. Obviously a great opportunity to grope each other’s body in those waves.

An hour later, we upped and took a stealthy shower using the Hotel’s beach shower point. (The shower is meant only for the up-market hotel guests on the beach.) This just to flush away the salt that we had from the sea.

Wrapped up with our hotel towels, we hopped into the car and I headed towards my favourite Massage and Herbal Sauna place in Nai Harn that is run by a Thai – German couple. There were no customers when we arrived and the Herbal Sauna was just being fired up.

At this place, they use real wood for the fire that provides the steam for the sauna room. Some local herbs are also fed into the system and it gives the entire hot room a unique herbal essence.

Quite hungry we asked and, one of the masseuse rode out a few shops away to get us a takeaway meal. Noodles with soup for her and a simple friend rice for me. After lunch more sessions in and out of the hot steam sauna room.

She then opted to have a massage while I spent some time calling out on my mobile phone to get some Friday work done. My “boss” thought I was in Singapore and at work.

Another two hours passed meantime during which I managed to get some things organized at work and relaxed intermittently in and out of the hot steam sauna room.

When she finished with her massage, she joined me in a couple of hot steaming sessions before we both washed up, put on our clothes and paid the bill. A total of 470 bahts inclusive of her massage, the lunch, some water, ice and the sauna facilities with towels thrown in.

A short drive and soon we were able to catch the sun setting over Laem (Cape) Prom Thep, a favourite of visitors to Phuket.

On the way back to the city, I took her to Wat Chalong to have a quick look at this significant temple, one of two must-do places for most Buddhist visitors to Phuket.

Back at the Hotel, we washed up and both snuggled up in bed with the announced intention to sleep for an hour. Instead, she and I renewed our vigorous passionate love making, the second time during this trip. Satisfied, we washed up and left the hotel to go for dinner at a nice local place I knew – Lemon Grass, a Thai Restaurant that is popular with locals of the city.

Another gouging round of over-ordering and we ended up over eating as has been the case since we landed on the island. Over dinner, an interesting exchange of anecdotes of each other’s lifestyle and background which was intelligent and in fact mutually absorbing.

This rather than the normal mongering companionship I am used to where there is little more than flighty conversation between “whore and master” that I was accustomed to.

After dinner, I drove around the city a little to decide which club to go to and opted for Jammin. This a live-rock music place that packs in the crowd every night. As with most Popular Phuket Town clubs, we had to push our way into the place and I led her to the rear area where the bar is located. The waiter found us a very small gap there and we plunged in and elbowed ourselves some room to stand. I looked around and found that the place was about half and half. Fifty per cent of the patrons were “farangs” (white foreigners) and the rest were locals with a fair mix of freelance working ladies and a few groupies of guys and girls out for a good time. In the past, Jammin used to have a sprinkling of perhaps 15 to 20 foreign white guys at most.

We must have just missed the band’s set because the DJ’s session lasted a good hour and more. Finally the band started their last set and I was glad we stuck it out because they have become better and livelier since I last saw them.

H** definitely enjoyed the music and atmosphere of the place, on her second club-night out with me in Phuket. Halfway through their set, both of us were tired and we made out way back to the car and I drove us back to the hotel. Back in bed, she and I coupled up in love again and then fell asleep to awake early the next morning.

DM,

She was not the best looker but had a sweet disposition that got my balls all fired up.

My major cost was her airfare; all of US$220 to BKK from Saigon and another US$60 to Phuket (return). Saved a fortune on BFs and booking fees so it works out alright! Considering that we had a nice time over 3 and half days.

Knowing me, in Phuket, I average at least 3500 to 5000 bahts per day on puyings if I go alone excl. expenses of other kinds.

heh-- long as the balls are fired up is all that matters...

Somehow methinks her tip more than erased any barfine savings u had :-)

Nice report-- thanks.

DM,

3000 bahts for shopping plus 1000 bahts for cashewnuts for the office mates (40 of them) is peanut money considering what I have "wasted" for others in my "career" (starting with the wife!

For which I am still paying through my nose!)
