Introduction
Of the many great roads in the world P.Burgos Street, Makati, Manila, Philippines must rank right up there with the likes of Route 66, the Champs Elysees and Regent Street. Whilst it may be lacking the vastness of Route 66, the architectural splendor of the Champs Elysees and the history of Regent Street it more than makes up for with a multitude of establishments full of some of the most beautiful and horny women you’ll find this side of the international dateline. Whilst there are many other options in both Manila and the Philippines to meet and interact with some of the country’s loosest women, I have always preferred Burgos due to the high quality, excellent service and general sense of fun that many of the girls display.
I’ve recently returned from a short trip to Manila (although I barely left the confines of Burgos St) and what follows is random set of observations on all aspects of life on the street of sin. Please forgive me if some of the details are slightly inaccurate and bear in mind that much of my reporting was conducted through a San Mig Light induced haze.
There may be trouble ahead…
Things, it must be said, didn’t get off to a particularly promising start. At airport immigration I was pulled into a side office and kept waiting for 45 minutes for the hideous crime of having the same name as an international criminal of some sort who is barred from entering the Philippines. Despite the fact my namesake is African and I am European and the only thing we have in common is our first and last name it didn’t stop the (unusually for the Philippines) officious immigration guy from chain smoking his way through phone calls and faxes and more phone calls and then disappearing for 20 minutes without explanation.
A lesser man than myself would have crumbled under the stress of the situation and confessed to all sorts of crimes that he was entirely innocent of. I, however, kept cool by thinking that I’d soon be in Makati being assaulted by some firm bodied superstar. Sure enough, the immigration guy returned to inform me that I wouldn’t be spending the next 20 years in a Manila slammer (hurrah!) and was free to go. A rather annoying start to my trip it must be said that an apology was conspicuous by its absence.
Ninoy Aquino airport has some sort of taxi ticket/receipt type system that means you are now officially ripped off by your taxi from the airport to your hotel rather than it being left solely down to the taxi driver. Basically, you go and get a receipt from some counter or other by telling them your destination and then pay the driver the amount on the ticket when you reach your lodgings. The airport to Makati is P375 (compared to the P125 on the meter for my trip the other way) although obviously your driver won’t have any change so I ended up giving him P500 and told him to buy something nice for the wife with the extra Pesos. After my brush with airport officialdom I was in no mood to argue and just wanted to check in and then check out the action. I was staying at the Oxford Suites which is “Ground Zero” for Burgos action. I could see half a dozen go-go bars from my window and was no more than one minutes walk from all of them.
“Location, location, location” as they say although, if anything, it’s too close to everything. I was finally ready to dive in head first and not come up for air for 72 hours…
General Bar Notes
This was my 4th or 5th trip to Manila in the last year (I lose count) and, from what I saw, the bars on Burgos have improved since my last trip back in March. There are a couple of new bars (“Mirrors”, which is next to Bottoms and “Blush”, which is opposite the Oxford Suites and both look very promising) One thing I did notice was that there seem to be more girls in each bar and more dancing shows. There was a lack of “the AC shuffle” – girls staring in space looking bored to tears whilst shuffling across the stage - and a lot of improvised and choreographed sexy dance routines that made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. Many bars featured girls on stage that were not only very beautiful but also seemed to be having fun dancing provocatively under the spotlights
One thing to note: a night out on Burgos St can be an expensive evening (compared to other options in the Philippines at least). Ladies drinks seem to be a uniform P300 and pressure to buy them is quite intense. Some people get annoyed by the constant “another drink sir” and general attempts to extract as much money from you in a short a space of time possible. I quite enjoy the challenge. I’m reasonably generous with Ladies drinks if the girls and the atmosphere are to my liking and you’re not under any obligation to buy drinks for every girl who floats by your table. For the extra expense you do, however, get a generally higher quality of bar girl. There were some absolute stunners in pretty much every bar I frequented and many were particularly friendly and fun loving.
Some of the bars I visited…
Flamengos – Very nice place, over a hundred girls here when I visited; many of a very high quality. The rocking horse is still on stage which gives all budding Filipina jockeys something to practice on. I bar fined a girl from here for P1000 (mama-san gave me a reduction from P1900 as I had bought her a few LDs) and had a great time.
Wild West – quite a small place with a couple of pool tables upstairs. Nice place to kick an evening off.
Mirrors – new place, just opened. Looks as though the “Royal Bandido Hotel” will open soon as well in the same building. Some ex Bottoms employees here, should be popular.
Hollywoods – there must have been around 50 girls and just little ol’ me when I went into this place. Friendly girls and not an overly high lady drink pressure.
Rogues – next door to Hollywoods this is a sports bar as well. I thrashed a couple of girls at pool late one afternoon despite their attempts to put me off by constantly grabbing my dick whenever I was trying to play a shot. Earl “the Pearl” Strickland never has that to contend with when he’s playing.
Blush – another new bar that has its fair share of stunners. I barfined a girl from here for P2000 and she was undoubtedly the horniest girl I have ever screwed. Didn’t get to sleep until 8am after multiple sessions and literally had to kick her out with the strains of “I’m still malibog” ringing in my ears later that afternoon.
Mascara – don’t know whether I picked a bad time or a bad night but this place seems to have gone downhill. A few average/ugly girls and lots of waitresses don’t make for the best bar on Burgos. Shame, because I had a great time in here a few months ago and seem to recall some real stunners on show.
Jools – A great place to take your barfine IMO although there are plenty of horny young things here as well. They charge P100 for a four times nightly show which is amazing and very classy. I seem to recall some second rate Filipino magician on stage at around 2am after the final show! Or did I dream that?!
High Heels – I have always liked this place, plenty of nice girls and not many customers. In a moment of weakness I was persuaded to take two girls to the VIP room for P3000 each. Spent the best part of an hour in there fucking one from behind whilst she ate the other ones pussy. Which was nice.
Further to High Heels: about one year ago on my first ever night out in Manila I was in HH supping San Mig whilst groping a couple of young lovelies and generally enjoying the evening. The only other customer in there was a middle aged American guy who was apparently a regular. A girl on stage was doing a striptease and this guy, much to my amazement, was sticking $100 bills all over her body. He must have put about 3 grand over her as all the other girls screamed their approval. He then bought hamburgers for every girl in the joint and for the next half hour the place resembled a branch of Jollibees.
I recall muttering “Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore” and this point.
Fridays – I think this place is called Fridays although I may be wrong. Anyway, it’s opposite High Heels and up some stairs if you’re trying to find it. But you really shouldn’t be trying to find it. Lots of ugly girls + absolutely insane Lady drink pressure = try elsewhere.
Bottoms
The girls of Bottoms are probably the most professional in getting the maximum amount of money from your wallet in the shortest space of time. There are some hotties here but in no other bar have I spent so much, had my dick played with so frequently and had as many “body shots” as I have in here. If you’re not counting the pennies you’ll struggle to have a bad time though.
Ivory
Nine inch high illuminated rhino horns on every table are suggestively stroked approximately 5384 times every night by the girls of Ivory.
Streetlife : If you need to buy chewing gum, belts, 12 inch knives (?!), Cialis, Viagra, Rolex watches (real ones I guess), roses for your girl (red and white available) or mysterious looking fruit then the street traders of Burgos St have everything you could possibly wish for. Even if you don’t require any of the above they will still hassle you within an inch of your life with their sales patter and follow you halfway to Boracay if you show even the slightest interest in their wares.
Anyone want to buy a Harley Davidson belt and 18 packets of “Doublemint” off me by the way?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the Oxford Suites is the finest hotel location IN THE WORLD.
I had THE BEST times of my 10-day Philippine trip on Burgos St. Like you said, the numbers are staggering, and the quality more so.
In one club I had about six or seven girls surrounding me, abusing the usual suspect with friction therapy while I checked their oil. Boy was it ever happy hour!
I bought some ladies drinks, a few beers for myself, and as a final goodwill gesture, a large cheese pizza for everybody at the table.
I was in there for a good two hours, and only dropped about $25 USD. Now that's entertainment...

John,
Jools wins hands down for me for the many times I have been to Burgos Street and the lead dancer (not sure if she is still there) was the best of them girls in there. Yes, lots of girls to bar fine too if chasing lead dancer is not your scene.
She was a classy act, who could dance as if her life was at stake!
If you ask, she will sit with you and share her mind and soul and ........ then it's all up to you!
Great List and Notes and thanks for sharing.

This was a nice thought out trip report. Thank you very much.
I like going to Angeles City, though, because the experience is "user friendly". My last trip seemed to be so problem free, its as if everyone had rehearsed it for me before I got there. I was picked up at the airport by the hotel (Orchid Inn), the Orchid seemed to have all the services I required, everything was a simple walk away, etc. I dont have any shortage of money but time is a critical factor for myself. I like everything to go smoothly without problem.
As for a better quality of woman, I think you can find some stunners in Angeles City, but you have to look a little bit harder. Its hard, for me at least, to go searching for stunners when there are so many able and willing women ready to jump into bed for a matter of tens of dollars. I get lazy and dont like to traverse around when there is someone readily available.
I am glad to see the immigration at the airport was doing their job. The last time I went through their version of immigration it seemed as if I was rubber stamped through without many questions and the customs agents seemed to be real sleepy and somewhat disoriented.
My opinion is that all airports should follow the Israeli model. Comprehensive baggage searches, strict questioning and scrutinization of all passengers, armed agents on each flight, "frisking" of all passengers, trained military pilots, etc. Either you put up with the lack of civil liberties or you dont fly, thats my philosophy.

Nice report, thanks !! Enjoyed reading it !!
A great place to eat before you start your hunt on Burgos St. is Club Havanna, located at the Greenbelt 3 mall in Makati. Pull up a chair at the outdoor cafe - cafe Havanna - it`s a very nice setting with about a half dozen or so outdoor cafes in the area, if possible try and grab a table on the outside of all the tables were people will be walking by, as girls walking by will say hi.
There are pro`s and non pro`s here, the pro`s make themselves known pretty quickly, according to a guy who claims to live in Makati for over 20 years, he says, higher class Pinays come here to meet forgieners and will never ask for money.
On a fri or sat evening expect at least a 30 minute wait for a table as it gets packed.
Long pants are needed to enter the club, although they let me in to use the CR with shorts. But most of the action takes place outside so no real need to enter the club.
And the food is very good !!

Fooledagain1,
Why would I want to travel half-way across the globe to try my luck with the non-pros? I know there is a stigma behind paying for play, but your going to ultimately "pay" for any girl you meet in the world. There are those few occasions where you get laid, no questions asked, for free, but those events are strictly by chance.
I work hard in this world and have no time for games. I would rather throw my $30 on the table and walk off with the woman of my choice, then patronize and grovel for a free one.
My 2 cents. . .

Great report! I like Oxford Suites too. Nice breakfast downstairs, clean, cool, quiet. They even let my girls up with a nice call up. I can't even remember the names of the bars but they sound familiar in your report--lol! 20 min. ride to the casinos, though, so I like to stay in Malate.
Fooled: I (heart)Havana, in Greenbelt, is a nice place--great live salsa band, smokes, and the prettiest girls in MNL. One of my internet GF's took me there and we all had a blast. Took my KTV GF's and they felt outclassed and uncomfortable. Both times the crowd reminded me of Q Bar in BKK--lots of foreigners. Next time I hope to bring the girl I met at the casino--lol!
