I’m going to try a different format element here, and post ongoing observations as my two-month trip progresses, as well as introductory and concluding comments, instead of posting this as a completed section. I had intended to post this as a running commentary when I posted the first section(s) of my tripreport, I started it during my first week. However, due to the attractions/distractions of the wonderful girls I’ve met, I’m not getting this posted until only a couple weeks remain in my nine-week trip. As always, responses of all types are solicited from the CH community.
