Day 5: Konopiste, Cesky Sternberk and Kutna Hora
First stop was Konopiste. This castle, built around 1290 by Wenceslas II. A massive estate and grounds and an impressive Fortification. The most famous inhabitant was Ferdinand
Estes, and he was renouned as a great hunter. Inside the castle are thousands of hunting trophies. It is said that he hunted and killed some 300,000 animals during his time here. The Estate has a private lake of about 30 acres, and boasts the worlds finest collection of St. George statues, including several of him fighting the Dragon(fictional of course), and several of St. George as a woman...that's news to me
The armory inside is the most impressive I have seen outside a museum.
It was a great tour.
Next we went to Cesky Sternberk (Castle Sternberk). This Castle was built in 1242 by Zdeslav Of Sternberk. It is I believe the oldest castle in the world to still be resided in by a direct decendant of the origional builder. The Count of Sterberk who currently resides there is 80 years old. It sits next to a beautiful little village (still very small and quaint).
It is clearly designed to be a regional controller for Nobility. Suprisingly even this great fortification was nearly destroyed by seige several times during the medieval period.
Finally we arrived in Kutna Hora. This entire town was a medieval period mining town. Silver was mined in vast quantities here and it was held in high regard in the noble circles of Europe. Kutna Hora fell out of it's prime shortly after the Thirty Years War ended as the silver had played out. Some mines however have been actively providing silver, lead and zinc ore until the last mine was closed in 1991.
The Entire city is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. It was just gorgeous. Aslo, 3 or 4 hollywood movie makers have used it's famous statue lined walk near St. Barbara's Catherdral in their films. St. Barbara is the 3rd most important Cathedral in the Czech Republic. St. Barbara (the person), is the Patron Saint of Miners.
By the time we arrived back in Prague it was late and my feet were pretty sore from all the hiking in sandals. I just could not get that urge to coax a CIM experience from Pricilla, though so I went on over to k5. In the room, I got my wish...rather devilishly I might add. When I was ready to drop my load, I bit my tongue and gave her no notice that I was unloading. I was suprised to see that she did not react at all. She took about 3/4 of it in, and let the rest shoot on her cheek. It was awesome.
After, as we lay there panting, I found out she will be returning to Rio on Oct. 8. I will be arriving on the 10th. I told her that although I would be seeing other girls there, I would get in touch with her and we would go to Help, just to dance before returning to my place for sex. She agreed
What is it about the Brazilian culture that allows these magnificent creatures to be so great and enthuesiastic with regards to sex? I am not sure, but I sure hope it never changes.
Went home exhausted and happy and slept hard!
