The set for the film Van Helsing was built just outside of Prague. It was torn down not long after the films completion. My friend and Guide there, was a guide and translater for some of the cast and crew. They allowed him to come back and shoot a bunch of pics before htey tore the set down. He gave me a disc with about 100 photos on it.
The studio spent nearly 6 million dolars on the set and grounds, and then because of Intellectual Property Rights protection needs they tore it all down. Too back. The Czechs should have negotiated a liscence and made it a tourist spot.
