I have the great pleasure of reporting from what has become my monthly trip to Angeles City. Bottom Line: my first trip to AC was April 2004 and I must say that I have seen the quality and availability of women better than it was this past weekend. There were a lot of new girls from the provinces, especially in the Perimeter bars. Also IMO the gap between the value and experiences you get on Perimeter Road. And Fields Ave. is widening.

I will start giving some observations on the bars I visited and some of my experiences, around town. The next chapter I will post some pics from girls I BF. Finally, I will offer up some bonus Batam picks for the hell of it.


1)Hotel: For this trip I moved back into the Hotel Royal Amsterdam on Fields Ave. I was in a superior room for $35 a night. I had room# 407 and I won’t recommend it. This is the smallest superior room I have had here by far. The room was cramped with the furniture. Also, you still need to avoid rooms whose numbers end X07 and x08. These rooms directly face the videoke joints in the back, and the new window treatments are non-effective at reducing the wailing that went until past 7 AM some mornings. Also, the Amsterdam rooms have piss poor lighting to begin with and this room had a heavy tinting on the window that ruined the natural lighting. Also, The hotel only gives you two small bath towels a day, and they charge you 60 pesos for two extra ones. I just think that is just plain tacky when you are paying $35 for a room. Finally, make sure you allow for plenty of time to check-out, my check-out was like a friggin Chinese fire drill and took 25 minutes – I almost missed my flight! Amsterdam offers great beds, and some rooms are good size, kick butt internet and a good restaurant. However, I think I may be on my way back to Central Park if I stay in the Fields Area again.

2)Food: I can’t say enough good things about Cottage Kitchen restaurant. This is real shit when it comes to Cajun, Soul, and BBQ. The guy smokes his own meat, and it almost feels like I am eating at Chez Helene in New Orleans. I generally try to avoid beef in SEA unless I want to give a jaw a good work out, but the BBQ brisket was really tender and prepared perfectly as was the pork ribs. Also, the Collard greens and ham hocks ---- good gravy! The corn bread is as good as it gets in Asia (but that ain’t too good) and I was disappointed in the Gumbo and the Red Beans. Hell this time they had banana pudding with ‘nilla wafers --- that is old school. Next time I am gonna get my ass out there for some of that southern style breakfasts. Now on the disappointing side of the equation, I ate a Sub Delicious twice and I think it is really slipping and looking like a poor value. However, the wings are still good. But they better be at that price. My view is I rather spend 20% for my meal at Cottage Kitchen and get a meal that’s 100% better.

3)Fields. Ave street annoyances: The beggar and vendor situation out on the street around Fields Ave. is completely out of hand now. Every ten seconds you now have kid and moms yelling at you with the hands out palms up -- “give me money.” And every five seconds you got some guy stepping directly in front of you the cries of “Viagra, Cialis good price?” These vendors are now extending there presence past the main gate and down to Club Stampede on Perimeter Road. Also, I swear the are more young guys driving motorcycles recklessly down fields. Blazers and I agree it’s no longer worth the hassle to walk down to the Jeepney stand at the main gate and it’s better just to take a trike from your hotel out to Perimeter.


Alright on to the Bars! Let’s start with Perimeter Road. Out here bar fines are still 1000 pesos, locals drinks less than 50 pesos, and Lady Drinks 100 pesos or less in almost all places. This trip I couldn’t believe how many new girls there were out here, and once again the girls’ attitudes are great with high mileage and slowly consumer ladies drinks. Also, if you were buying a ladies drink a manager was always sending over a drink of giving you a free drink chit. One change in the MO out here is that these places are getting started a little later. Most places that open early are doing so with a small shift of girls and most places now have the bulk of the girls starting at 3PM. So it looks like the prime hours are starting to drift later. Some specific places I visited

Honey Ko’s has got a totally bomb line-up now. They may have only fifteen dancers but there are at least eight stunning girls here (and the few of them that were cherries are no longer cherries – Hippie are you listening!) This is definitely the place to be between 2 and 3PM when the dancers are starting their shifts. There mainstay customers have been crusty old expats and they bitch if the music is louder than a whisper. Bad news for the old dudes, you can’t keep a good line-up like this a secret and I am sure this place is gonna get way popular. You should get over here and enjoy this line-up while it lasts as I predict within six months to a year most of these girls will get sponsored or married to western dudes. I had some fun buying a round of lady drinks for these too spinners, the real tiny one is 38Kilos (three of which is breast meat!)

Limited Edition – has renovated the upstairs and it’s a big sports bar with three huge windows looking looking out over the base. It’s really really bright for an AC bar, and their line-up really really needs a dark room. While the sports bar is open early, the downstairs bar now opens at five and has a very improved line-up. They now also have a hotel upstairs that I believe is really just a ST place. But the ST price including room is 1000K. I don’t think that is gonna fly. Also, I was also pleased to discover a former rhino of Club Rio who gives the best BJ I have ever had has resurfaced here as a waitress in the upstairs sports bar.

Nifty’s – also experienced some turnover and new girls. Blazers and I met a half black girl who was working her second day. What was remarkable was her huge floppy titties. I decided to buy her a drink and molest those puppies. Here are some pics for Porker… I am sure he will be interested.

In this part of Perimeter there is a new higher end karaoke bar called Primitiva that had some outstanding door girls. Crazier visited and report very high quality inside but very steep Lady Drink prices. Perhaps he will add of his observations.

Touch of Class has made a bit of a comeback and has a good number of cute girls with some good bodies. I was particularly attracted to this new door girl from Cebu.

I had a couple of fun visits to the Gentleman’s Club. This place has a small lineup and there are some cute girls. The huge assed midget is back dancing – and it looks like her ass has gotten smaller. This place has some wild feature dancers and some great mileage girls. I have one girl I like to bar fine here a lot, she is super sweet and very wild!

I managed to pop into Club Stampede twice. There weren’t a lot of new girls here, but there were still a bunch of girls I have done, want to do, and want to do again here. Still gets a thumbs up from me.

Magic Moments is the one perimeter bar where the talent has dropped – and it has dropped a lot. There was one very cute FOB with a good body. Had a good barfine with this one. This place must be dying on the vine because the aircon was barely running

My Bar is an interesting place with a couple of very cute GRO’s and generally chubby dancer line-up. However, the aircon is real cold and the drinks cheap. This bar has a nice line layout and fun atmosphere.

I visited a few Fields Ave. Bars. The lineups were looking better but not nearly as many new girls from the province. It just looked like most of the usual suspects were back from the province. Prices are 20-100% more expensive for everything in the Fields Ave. joints relative to the perimeter bars, and Lady Drinks sure seem to get sucked down faster.

Bunny Ranch had a great full line-up on stage. They have now adopted HOT PINK Bikins. I love the look of hot pink on Asian girls especially under the black lights. There seems to be more sweater meat here than before.

I Checked out the new ClassRoom2 Club and frankly there are very few cute chicks and nothing else to make me return. The club has followed path of Roadhouse and La Pasha and primarily rely upon concert DVD’s for the music. I really think this leads to mostly crappy music and too many drum solos; a bad trend.

La Pasha is still a fun place with a good line-up despite the concert DVD music model. This busty bundle of fun is well acquainted with some of the hombres. A very fun pinay in the bar.

The Dollhouse was open, but the daytime lineup is really downgraded from last month. Still this is about the only Fields Ave. Bar I enjoy spending any afternoon time in. Others reported the 7PM shift had lots more talent.

Speak Easy is a new bar next to (or is it actually behind) Treasure Island. The entrance is very narrow long and bright. The bar is nicely decorated except it has the absolute worst layout ever. It is a L- shaped room with one good seat and all other seats awful. The staff is nothing but a bunch of recycled Fields Ave. girls. Yawn.

Stopped into Ziggy’s one time, and the drink pressure was total obnoxious over the top, almost Cambodia bad, and very very few fuckable girls. I guess the Blue Fox legacy is really dead.

On my last night, I met Blazers in Nero’s and the line up and atmosphere was real good. Plenty of cute girls, and I had a great time partying with these two. The tall was was particularly sweet and had a awesome ass. She is now on the to do list.

Finally, Blue Nile has really slipped in my opinion. Still a few place to hit on a barhop. However the good lookers are steadily being replaced with some real fuglies. This place has really slid the last couple of months.

I also noticed a lot of new gals at the AC bars, several new cuties among them.

well, Mx....looks like you are basically writing my trip report for me. I agree with everything you said and now have had to move my room to the back rooms at Royal Amsterdam to avoid the cat strangling. They were supposed to get rid of all the videoke places but a couple remain and these Filipinos are aweful singers. Another drawback about RA is that the rooms smell funky and the bathrooms worse. The rooms are beautiful but they are going to have to get the videoke place to enclose themselves like other business' or they will lose that entire back area to a business that makes peanuts.

What can I add?

I was quite "lost" to my sweetie once snagged! Will surely be back every week in AC if I can find a few more like her!

Mx, You know who I am talking about. At this juncture, theres already enough competition from the Koreans, Japs and other mongers from Singapore so I won't post her pics here.

Since you mentioned it, the Karaoke Bar Primitiva had my kind of girls; half of who claimed to be cherries. On being told that I wanted to barfine, mamasan (trans) pushed two girls at me, one, I might have taken if I had not been smitten by another.

When I found that lady drinks were a choice of 120 and 240, I was almost out of there immediately except that, one of the girls was absolutely my type 200%. Sat down for a drink; (beer which cost 60pesos) and her drink came to 240 pesos.

The interview lasted all of 10 minutes and when she downed her drink too rapidly, I exchanged mobile numbers and was out of there. A flighty promise to meet me after 12 midnight was made and it never materialized.

Yes, Blue Nile's major talents have dissappeared since my last visit 2 months ago when a "Japanese dance performer" was the apple of my eye. The entire line up of that routine is now crap.

Two shuffling sweeties did catch my eye but, I saw them reject (with a frown) two older Koreans when summoned by the waitress using her laser. The poor guy called for his entire group's bill and was soon out of there - very choosy girls indeed. Lucky I was totally absorbed by my major lust when there.

The Dollhouse's day shift had a couple that I might have barfined but they avoided me eye when I looked their ways so not for me.

Just when it was almost dinner time, the first of the night shift went on stage at 7pm and suddenly, there was one whose tight body I'd pine for with a really sweet face that I need. Bought her a drink but did not barfine as I was keeping self for a repeat of sweetie since it was my last night.
A few others were an improvement on the day shift too.

I should add that I made a quick recce to the Casino 's rear and discovered a high-end Japanese lounge named "Waka" with a bevy of talent that I could RECOMMEND to anyone with an "Asian Eye".

Did not check out prices but, I will say they are likely to be prohibitive as it was targetted only at Japanese the way it was styled. If money is of little concern and "asian eyes" quality is the issue, I would recommend this. Unless you are used to that kind of entertainment, I would not recommend; definitely not the AC beer bar place you'd expect.

Finally, while having a very local meal on MacArthur's Avenue, I asked a nice man there about local-styled action in AC and he listed for me the following:

Sideline -Henson, Engrande-Hiway, Titeleist, Dunalot, also, an open air area Nepo Mart. All downtown in AC somewhere along MacArthur Ave.

Has anyone checked these out ever?

I will on my next visit as I like the kind of girls that the locals lust for! I was assured that the girls are truly nice and that he offered to "guide me" emphasizing that it was dangerous for foreigners. I hate being guided unless I know the person well myself.

My personal experience in the "downtown areas" of Cebu (also said to be dangerous) is that it should be relatively safe if you keep your wits and "wear local" keeping valuables in the safe.

Metalboots, when I read about your misfortunes and not clicking with the Thailand scene it really rang true with my own experiences there. At the time, I think I held my tongue, I really wanted to encourage you to check out AC as I really suspect it is more your style. The GoGo bars have a much more all out party style and if you buy some Ladydrinks you will get the girls all over you. The only problem is that the music isn't too much Rock-n-Roll. However, Blazers brought his own mixed CD's and several of the perimeter bars and even Nero's played them (with some tipping action) of course. I think you will enjoy AC much more than Thailand like myself.

Crazier, one thing that suprised me is how many of the girls asked "Is your friend Filipino?" and about half the time they thought I was lying when I said no. That may explain why sometimes you didn't get good eye contact. However, that will definately play to your advantage when oyu explor more local places, where I will no chance of blending in. BTW your girl is fantastic, and I did refrain from posting her pics even though I had some real good ones with her dancing with the Magic Moments girl.

007, It is not Rodman's place (where IMHO the food sucks). Cottage Kitchen is on perimeter road almost out where the Clarkton Hotel is.

Epi, Thanks for the kudos. I am starting to get better ratio of good to blurred or overexposed shots with my IXUS700, and if I have enough light (which surprisingly isn't that much) the movies its takes rock. However, I still feel like I was getting more consistent picture quality with my old Pentax but I am real pleased with GOOD pics I get with the Canon.

Hehe I remember you skull fucking that Pasha girls under the table and I have been intriuged ever since. But she you and Porker Boom2 2 much, and I assured her she wouldn't have that problem with me! (but I still haven't done her yet.)

I am going to stay at the Royal Amsterdam for the first time. From the looks of it, in your picture, it does seem to be a step-up from the Orchid Inn. The carpeting and the couches do it for me. I hate running around on bare tile and the couches make for a kinkier time.

The towel thing is a little disconcerting. Maybe more people should complain to the manager or send more emails to them specifically complaining about this. I dont think any other hotel charges for extra towels.
