I got interested in visiting Nogales after reading Tonyd's trip reports. I've been roadtripping through the Southwest USA for the last 3 weeks so the opportunity arose. I made it my business to be in Nogales a couple of weekends ago. It was just as Tonyd described and IMO, even better. In summary, the small entertainment district right behind the border fence contains at least 4 strip clubs in close proximity - the 2 I visited were casted by 100% beautiful, extremely alluring young dirty-minded women. Not one that I would have turned away and I think of myself as selective. The total experience is a blend of Déjà Vu, a public sex club, and a brothel. It's like Madonna's in Tijuana but with every private dance leading to a blowjob or full service. Quick and dirty. Here's a long long trip report for those who want all the details.

Up front let me also say that I have no idea as to the legal status of this activity in Nogales -obviously it is tolerated so I'm not suggesting any LE paranoia is called for - but whether its legal in the sense that it is regulated as in TJ, I do not know. I don't know if these chicas have govt. mandated health exams or if they carry health cards. Unfortunately, there is no Brockton O'Toole for Nogales as yet. Apparently the city has at least 1 or 2 standard Mexican hooker bars as well. However, I did not seek them out since I had all the fun and sex I could handle in the 2 nights I spent in the strip clubs.

I was staying at a Best Western about 1 mile from the border. Decent motels are available in the $30-40 per night range in Nogales, Arizona. On Friday night, I drove to the border looking for the $4 parking lot that TonyD mentioned. I found it, but it was dark and there was nobody around giving out tickets or taking money. So I drove back to the main drag, Grand Ave. and just parked on the street 70 yards from the border. It is basically totally safe IMO. These border towns are small and sleepy compared to San Diego and TJ - everything is easy and hassle-free. Once you walk across the border, you are immediately in the tourist district. No cabs, no buses, no bandido-aided fast walks. To your right are several blocks of Rev. type shops but they have more upscale merchandise - more art than belts and boots. Unlike Rev. this district is dead at night. One of the Nogales strip club/brothels is in this area, Obsessions. I didn't visit it.

I went to the left where I walked over some railroad tracks that run right through the border with a closed gate on la linea. There you will enter a small entertainment district consisting of 2 long blocks lined with cantinas, nightclubs and stripclubs. Even on the weekend nights the streets are quiet but not empty. You hear the various strains of Mexican music emanating from fairly empty cantinas. I don't think I saw any street girls - though there were a couple of candidates.

This District contains 3 strip clubs that all bear the name TD's (as does Obsessions). They are called TD's Lipsticks; TD's Cherries; and TD's Permi's (last one is an approximation). So I'm not sure whether "TD" is some generic indication for stripclub/whorehouses or if some TD dude owns all 4 of these joints. I visited 2 of these 3 clubs both Friday and Saturday night and had an amazing time. It was 8:00 Sonora time when I arrived on Friday (it's an hour earlier on the AZ side since that wacko state stays on daylight time all year).

Tonyd described Lipstick as the best of the clubs so I saved it for last and went upstairs to Permi's. No cover charge. It's a small club divided into a room with tables and a runway stage, and an adjoining room with a bar, and about 6 spacious private curtained booths. It was early and it was quiet. I did notice many youthful sexy girls arriving and the waitresses were amazing as well. When the first dancer took the stage I knew it would be a different experience from TJ when she removed her bottoms first thing and brought out a lovely kitty. TJ strippers must have all started their illustrious careers as SGs since they have a difficult time getting naked and rarely ever put panocha in play while on stage (except as a tip bank). I had only been there a few minutes, attempting to fend off the offers of $10 table dances and $20 private dances when a waiter brought this incredible dangerous looking exotic beauty with an edgy black wavy hairdo that was dripping wet as though she had purposely dipped it under a faucet before entering the room. So I walked around a while and then entered Lipsticks. $3 cover on this Friday night. It is a very nice, spacious contemporary club with state of the art lights and sound system. You could sit at the large stage, or at one of many tables further back or at table on a mezzanine level looking down at the stage. The weird thing was that the chicas were all seated in chairs in front of the bar in Miami Bar style formation. Problem is, this location is nowhere near where the patrons sit. So you cannot evaluate or commiserate with the talent unless you walk over and stare at them at close range, or wait for their turn on stage. That seemed to be the modus operandi. As each dancer took the stage, the waiters and incredibly adorable waitresses would solicit dances on behalf of the dancer currently on stage. I watched and pounded cerveza for a long while and then wanted to ask a question of the locals sitting next to me at the stage. I asked them if they spoke English - they didn't at all, but they decided to adopt me as their gringo pal for the evening - 3 early 20's guys actually competing and jockying with each other to sit next to me and converse with me in my improving but still pathetic español. This would be the way it would be for my 2 days on the Mexican side. The locals were incredibly friendly and very anxious to socialize despite communications breakdowns - their curiosity and patience was bottomless. BTW, both clubs I spent time in had a good percentage of gabachos - mainly from Tucson it seemed.

Eventually I made my way to the baño passing the chica lineup at the bar. We need to get a handle on these escalalating prices before they get out of control. The best thing initially about Nogales was the great low price we could all get for sex. Do you guys remember the $20 BJ or $30 FS? It used to be the normal charges, even less in some cases.
I never pay more (these days), than $30 for BJ and $50 for FS! If you other guys pay these higher costs that the girls are trying to receive, (and I do believe in the free market, capitalist system of supply and demand) the costs will continue to escalate OUT OF CONTROL! Don't do it. Inform any who you see, what to pay, and let's get a handle on this now.

Knowledge is power, but is rarely placed in the hands of consumers. In order for there to be a free market in the Nogales sex trade (or any market) there has to be an equally well-informed and well-organized bar management/dancer group and customer group. Keep up the good work posting prices and methods of haggling, but realize that you will always be in struggle against a comparatively small well-informed and fairly well-organized bar management/dancer group. We consumers are… well, slack, nebulous, anything but organized; I would venture to say that maybe 1% (if that) of the patrons attending the bars in Nogales read these threads. The rest are almost totally uninformed about prices/services. I predict that prices will continue to escalate - especially if Vincente Fox manages to reform Mexico's economic system. Yet, even if more information about this thread is disseminated, we (consumers in the present) run the risk of expanding the overall consumer base and driving prices up anyway. Enjoy the $50 FS while you can - several years from now you'll be writing, "remember when the VIP bedroom only cost $150 per half hour?"

With that said, I have definitely started to haggle with the Nogales dancers – and am paying less as a result. It’s not in my North American blood to haggle, but I’m learning. Negotiating in Spanish is also difficult (but my Spanish has improved). But I swear to god, sometimes there are women in Nogales who are priceless; I jump at whatever amount they ask for (my shame).

All you really have to do is:
1: Walk thru the border,
2: Hang a hard left and walk across the main road to the other side
By now you should see the Railroad tracks and, if at night, the lights for "Cherries".
Once you get to the first street just past the tracks, look to your right and you'll see Lord Blacks, then Placers. If you walk past Cherries, make a right at the first street past Cherries front door, and you'll find Lipsticks and Ferni's.
Rio and Obsessions are in a different area entirely. Don't make these your first places to go, they're really not a big deal. You can find them later by just asking anyone in any of the clubs.
If you're in Nogales during the afternoon, go to Cherries. If at night, I would recommend Placers, Lipsticks, and maybe LB's if you're curious. Don't even let your curiousity cause you to even look at Ferni's, it's a waste of time.

Just catching up on old stuff. Yes, the girls hang out at the bar and don't really "solicit" dances or vip's. This is the ticket seller's (boletero) job. It's funny because when I buy a table dance or above, the boletero always asks what girl I want, but I already have my pick and get them myself. Cherries is probably your best bet. They do open early. For what I'm told biznes is off at the clubs this last week so I would counter with any offer with exactly half and see where that goes.

I was supposed to make it there on tues for the two-fers, but got diverted by some work...damn.

You might try Placer's after 4:00 pm or Rio's after 2:00pm but the talent may be thin. Still sometimes you can get the best bargains then.

Most of the clubs will not open till after 5pm, closer to 8-9:00pm is when thing really start to happen.

I did have some good times at Rio's in the late afternoon, after 4:00 pm on a Tuesday.

There are two-fers at Lipsticks and Rio's on Tuesday. In addition if you like nasty laps, but usually no extras, Obsession around the corner from Rio's sometimes has an unadvertised twofer on Tuesday, ask the ticket seller.

Some of the girls will do the extra's at Obsessions. It's just that they always ask for too much. This might be a good time for bargains LOL.

The before 5 pm clubs that actually have girls in them are Cherry's and Rio's. Each on opposite side of the tracks but walking distance from the border. Someone else has posted the directions here in past, a search would bring that up.
I can't really talk too much about Rio's, but, Cherry's has a 1/2 price deal on Monday's. So table dances are $5 bucks and vip's $10.00. Now it's been a few weeks and I don't know if this has changed lately.
On the busier days, they will impose a $3 cover charge and give you a courtesy drink (wash out). Beers and most drinks are $2.50.
Drinks for the chica's are much more ($10.00).
The actual services pricing depends on the girl. Each one does (or doesn't do) different things for different prices. Haggling is perfectly o.k., but may affect your mileage.
The ticket sellers are a good bet for what girls do and do not and how much. As a matter of fact, if you haggle with the ticket seller, the girl may treat you like you never haggled.
In talking to a friend of mine that is there alot, things have been very very slow lately and your best bet for good deals is right now.

Nogi_boy, I thought all the bars were closed on Mondays, and that two-fers were on Tuesdays - but I could be wrong.

Border crossing is a breeze. Soon as you cross the border, cross the inbound and outbound traffic lanes to the left and you are there. Keep close to the border wall and you will be at Cheeries. Only about a 1/2 a block walk from the walk through border gate.

The Tuesday two-fers are at Lipstick, a night-time club. Cherry's (1pm to 8pm) runs their 2fer on Mondays. As a matter of fact, I think I recall them having the "cut-down" price Monday through Wednesday and then it going back up to normal Thursday through Saturday or Sunday, or something like that.
As far as border crossings; if you are walking, no problem. I spent 2.5 hours in line yesterday when I made the mistake of driving across. What a bummer.

Parking at night - just park in the $4 parking lot right before the border crossing station. There's no attendant at night (at least there wasn't on Tuesday) - just park and pay the next day.

I have used that parking lot a few times before. There seem to be attendants until the mid-evening, but they disappear when it gets really late.

Once I arrived at about 11:30 PM, and found no one at the lot. I parked there anyway. When I returned at 3:30 AM (a few hours later) there still was no one at the lot, so I drove off. I was not trying to be a cheapskate: there just wasn't anyone to pay.

The other side of the coin is that there is no one watching your car while you are off having fun. You may arrive, pay the attendant and think that your car is being guarded for the night, but that is not the case. I have never had any problems with vandalism in the lot, however, but I have made only a few visits.

I got my fucking truck keyed here. There is a secure lot behind the McDonalds lot that has the cars fenced in with razortop wire.

I live on the U.S. Side, just minutes north of the Border, sorry, but I haven't kept names of any of the girls, as the one's that I have been regular with, always seem to remember me when I go in. The one behind McDonalds does not have an attendant all night. The lot behind that one is gated with razortop wire. I have never had a problem with either lot. I did get my car keyed at the lot by the Greyhound station.

I have a question related to the action. If I want to pick up some viagra do I have to declare it at the border and will they let me through with it if I don't have a perscription? Also do they sell it by the pill or bottle and how much is it. Thanks.

AZP, I do think you have to declare it at the border (when returning), not sure if you need a prescription or not. You can buy it by the pill or bottle. Should cost $10 for generic, $12 for name brand (both work for me). I get it at the pharmacy right next to Rio's, but they close at like 10 PM or so. There's another pharmacy that's open 24/7 right across the street from Rio (next block west). It doesn't look open but it is. There will be people outside and a metal gate across the storefront.

If you declare it or not they can take it from you and charge you with a crime if you don't have a prescription. Chances are they will just let you go with or without the pill depending upon the stage of their power trip that day.

Hey everyone. I live in Phoenix and went to nogales with my buddy one night just to go. I had never been to Mexico before so I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasently surprised. We went to Lord Black's first and I found it to be the most friendly place of the night. Great for newbies who may be a little nervous. Private dances ran around 20 bucks and included a handjob and some grab ass from both sides. I didn't know you could haggle till I found this site. Glassy, I'm afraid Nogales ain't what it used to be. Prices (for Mexico) are pretty exhorbitant these days. And the bars aren't as much fun as they used to be. But there's still fun to be had with the right girl.

wow, have things changed.. in a matter of four years.. the prices have tripled for service.. i remember in 2000 .. bj was $20 with one $20 privado, and FS was $40 with a privado.. now its going to cost you at least $150 for 30 minutes with a chica.. i remember my first time with a very young, famous Monserat at Cherrys.. $15 for privado and $30 for FS with a hot 19 year old latina.. but that was back in 1999...

In '95 the "closet" in Cherries was around $8 US and bj was about $10-15 with fulll service for about $20-25. I think there were about 3-4 strip clubs. Cherries, Lipstick, Tecolote and maybe Obsessions. This was before the "gentlemens clubs" started appearing. BUT what was interesting were all the chicas in the other non strip/niteclubs along the RR tracks. If you spoke a little spanish you could pick one up for a quickie at the cheapie motel across from the train depot for about $15 + 5 for the room!

A lot of the clubs offered strip shows or a kind of burlesque act on the weekends. Most of the dancers and many of the single girls in those clubs were available. I remember saying to myself, " I hope people from TJ don't find out about this" As TJ was around 30-40 + 10 rooms, Nogie was a great bargain.

What killed Nogie was the fact that the Strip Clubs were not in the Zona Roja. So politicians could, and did, put restrictions on sexual activities. Add to that the greed of several club owners who had a stranglehold on the the stripclubs and you had no room for competition. I think the "other" thing that killed Nogie was the internet. When word got out, you had a lot of people (non members) looking up Club Hombre or some of the strip clubs review sites. Word of mouth at the UA didn't help much either.

You can still get, if you go to some of the non-strip clubs close to the tracks, companionship for around $30. The talent is really hit and miss though. The wam-bam-thank-u-maam w/ a cute spinner at the strip clubs for less than $50 is long gone from Nogie. You wont see an Adelita type bar in Nogie, but if u bar hop around town you can find some goodies.

I stopped going to Nogie regularly for over two years now. For the type of money they were asking for in Nogie for a "privado", you can get close to the same thing at the Tucson clubs.

It is a shame what happened to Nogie. Living in Tucson, I could be down there in no time. Not only did the price skyrocket, but the quality of the girls is horrible. Every 6 to 9 months I give it a try and still sucks. These things go in cycles. I will wait it out. In the meantime, Brazil, here I come.

BTW, Orgngrndr what clubs in Tucson offer the same thing as Nogie? have I been missing something?

I wanted to know if anyone had some info on the current situation in Nogales, I recently moved to the Tucson area and just wanted to get away for a weekend. Have the prices changed, stayed the same, or has the business there changed, I noticed most of the posting are a few years old.

Everything has changed for the worse over the last several years. Many clubs have closed while new ones have opened. Prices are way up while chica quality is down. Still worth a visit if you live in Tucson, but definitely not the fun spot it was when I visited nearly a decade ago.

There are actually many current postings on this board under other topics listed beneath Nogales. You will have a pretty good handle on what is available these days and for how much if you read the other threads.

PM Roberto for specific questions since he still travels to Nogie regularly and is probably the top CH authority on the subject these days.

You are just looking in the wrong place for Nogales information. Follow these Club Hombre menu links: WORLD => MEXICO => NOGALES.

I wish that I had known about ClubHombre during the good old days of Nogales. They were pretty much over a year before my first exploration. Although I have seen it go even further down hill over the past few years, the place still has possibilities.

However, NOGALES it is no longer a "sex tourism destination" and thus not worthy of "trip reports", rather it is a side trip for people already in Tucson for other reasons.

So know one goes to Nogales anylonger???

I'm sure that some guys do, but just locals. Nogie never was a destination spot, even in it's best days. But, if you found yourself in Tucson or even in Phoenix, it was a fun place to drive down to and spend an evening.

I'm a local and I haven't been down there in two years.Of the dozen or so clubs that were open before 9/11, about 3 are still open, even the massage parlors have closed. Most of the clubs try to charge extravagant pricing to the gringos. The prices are actually cheaper in Tucson at the clubs.

About the only place I have have discovered some cute girls at cheap prices, is the Salon Regis across the street from Obsessions.And even there it's hit and miss.

There are probably more street girls than before, but they are sometimes discreet and are only found in a few areas. Even the Old Red Light District and the one remaining Brothel, shut it's doors about a year and a half ago.

But there is still sex to be had ans some of the boards like ISG still have posters who go down there. But it seems to me to be too much work for little rewards.

The best thing about Nogie was always that the clubs were right at the border. I think I timed it one night and it was well under five minutes total to leave Cherry's (or Lord Black's, I can't remember which), walk across the railroad tracks, roll through US immigration and customs and make it back to my car at McDonald's. Very convenient. No long walk and lines like TJ, no need for a taxi or anything on the other side. From Cherry's to the US border station took all of 30 seconds.

Dude, Cherry's was across a 2 lane road and a parking lane from the foot crossing. A Friday happy hour wouldn't take 30 seconds to walk from USA to inside Cherry's. Just couldn't get back after dark that way. Still it was sweet for a quickie Happy Hour.
