The plan for this trip to Jakarta was to break new ground and investigate many new places. Well we all know what happens to the best made plans… Over nine days I didn’t manage to actually session in any new places! The main reason is that my old standby places really came through with me, and in fact I ended up repeating with quite a few girls. Oh well, perhaps I will get out an explore more next time. I also had a blast hanging with fellow Hombres Go Celtics and Iznogud.

Before we get to the girls here are a couple of travel tidbits.

1) DVD and pirated software are back. In Mangaa Dua Mall they were offering DVD’s for 6K each, and I was able to get them down to 5500 after a volume discount. Selection was excellent and there were tons of stalls. Also, there was tons of software; I got Adobe Pro and ACDSee 8 for 25K each. There was amazing selection on the software.

2) I met up with a great local Chinese guy who showed an excellent steak restaurant on the street. “The Steakman” or “Jon’s Café” Jalan Samanhudi Raya. Here we got a 5 or 6 ounce Filet Mignon (New Zeland beef) with fries and vegetable for 20K. Fish and Chips are 15K. Steak was tender and delicious and the perfect amount. Also, the adjacent fruit juice made a great avocado shake.

3) I stayed at the Sparks Hotel on Mangaa Besar. The corner room I like they wanted $45 a night, but ended up giving me the old rate of $40. When I initially contacted them they tried to rasie the rates by $5 a nigh for all rooms, but I had to remind them of my repeat business and threaten to stay some place else to get my old rate. Also, they are now charging 35K an hour for access to the WiFi internet in public spaces, whereas it was free before. Oh well the hotel definitely is getting more business. One morning they were overwhelmed and the breakfast buffet was completely wiped out.

Now on to the mongering action.

The only western customer oriented place I went to was My Bar in Blok M. Honestly, it was a bad week in My Bar. Way too many girls not interested in booking at all or only willing to go ST. Also, it seemed like all the girls are working with the old fat scumbag piece of shit mamasans here. Also, there way too many girls who were only interested in trying to weasel drinks for their ugly leech friends, cunt mamasans, and deadbeat boyfriends. In all my previous trips, My Bar was such a guaranteed place to pick up a low cost decent looking good performing LT that I had gotten complacent about scouting out alternative places. However, I did manage not pick up girls all but one night.
