“The Setting”
As the coordinator of the event this year I wanted to find a secluded villa that would house all the brothers, neophytes and “guests”. This villa had to be top of the line when it comes to quality and service, provide all the comforts of home and be a setting that we would all remember for years to come. I guess you could say I wanted the props from the brothers that I had set up what would be remembered as the best convention and meetings of the Brotherhood to date……one that would be hard to out do when it comes to quality.
Now I have been to DR on several trips for both business and pleasure as you are well aware from my previous reports. Up until now I had only heard about some of the high end, secluded villas on the north end of the island so after doing some homework last month and calling in a few favors I was able to visit three villas that would meet our needs for this convention.
I flew down to DR for a 2 night stay and scouting trip. I toured a couple villa rental opportunities available during our dates in and around Cocomar on the north end of the island and about 45 minutes east of Puerto Plata International Airport. While nice and on the ocean they just would not quite take it over the top for this convention of the brotherhood so I set my sites on a couple secluded private villas on the north west corner of the island that a friend had recommended. I thought that the main difference with these villas would be the rental price but boy was I wrong. As soon as I stepped out the car upon arrival at Castellamonte del Mar I knew I had found what I was looking for. This place is incredible!! So incredible that when I pass away just come spread my ashes on the grounds.
With seven (7) king-sized, fully air-conditioned suites gracing this 15,000+ sq. ft. Italian Tuscan-style vacation villa sited perfectly atop a soaring sea cliff to offer sweeping 220 degree views of the ocean. Designed by a world-renowned, award-winning architect, the luxury beach villa also boasts shady terraces, an easily accessible 600' white sand secluded beach, a 3600 sq. ft. free-form private swimming pool design w/spa and one of the most gracious and accommodating full time staffs I had to get this deal done – So far above with regard to quality and service and a breath taking setting we would long remember.
I was in heaven and could only begin to imagine what “scars” our event might leave on this incredible facility and setting. Even Priew would be proud!!
So without further ado here are some shots of our host villa. This is Castellamonte del Mar……..my selection to host the Brotherhood convention and initiation ceremonies for 2005.
Before you ask......the realtor that set up the rental provided the aerial shots and the "trophy" on the beach was staged.
Next chapter will be the entertainment line up and I hope to get it up early next week.

Nice looking place. A lot better than where I am living right now. Hey, I don't want to spoil your upcoming report but I had to look this place up on the Internet to see what they charge. As I am sure you know, it's $3,000 a night with a 4 night minimum. No wonder you are hustling to get some more people involved.

Tight - "spoil" my report?? Yea, you are right, actually its costing $17K for the week. But when you take into account all the food, beverage, facilities and then devide by eight brotherhood members......I like the cost per and fits within our event budget for this year.
I'll explain further the finances behind this event later but to put it in a nutshell for you it is costing about $6K per member - thus a working budget of $48K for the week.

Turfdoc,
Yes this is an incredible place. I've seen it used as a backdrop for a porn set once. I'll post some pics if I can look back in some of my archives.
I ahve read and reread your introduction and I still have a couple of questions of clarification to ask.
1. Are you already set with the people invited to this event? I mean is this an open invitation you are putting out here?
2. If this is an open invite, what does one do to get on board.
3. Is $6,000 the figure you have in mind plus airfare or is that included?
4. When is this event to occur?
Thanks,
Cubanut

Hey Nut! The stage is already set for this event and the guest list is full.....five brotherhood members and three neophytes.
The $6K covers all expenses except airfare down and tips. More on this later in another chapter.
I would love to do another one with some of the Hombres I have come to know and meet from here!! Perhaps we can set that up for next year some time. The key of course is getting the committments and setting a budget per person. The working budget is what makes these "conventions" of the Brotherhood so off the wall. PM me for more specifics if you wish but I will tell you that the line up of girls for this event is be in the $18K area before "incentives" and tips.

Mr. Lawn Physician
It appears that you have quite an event in the works. The photos of the villa are quite impressive. If the entertainment is equal to the setting, it would be an event to remember.
Since you use the term “Brotherhood”, I surmise that you do not consider yourself an entrepreneur in this endeavor and do not plan to enjoy any financial benefits from your labor in organizing this event.
These are rather significant amounts for a party. If what is promised is what is actually delivered, it may then be an appropriate amount. I have some questions about the management of the funds and the transparency of the financial management.
Do you plan to participate in the event (boink the babes)?
Do you plan to “make a profit” or “subsidize your cost” in compensation for your labor?
Do you plan to act as the event treasurer in a fiduciary manner?
Will you personally collect the contributions from the participants?
Will the expected contribution that is expected from each participant be openly published to all participants?
Will the actual contribution that is made from each participant be openly published to all participants?
Will the actual expenditures for the event be openly published to all participants?
Will any funds remaining be returned equally to the participants?
It sounds like a killer party. Sorry to be so hard nosed and suspicious.

Turfdoc,
Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't really asking for myself but instead for those out here that I got the feeling weren't sure where you were comming from. I personally thought from the start that this was a done deal with the participants but then it seemed to seem as if you were advertising.
As I said before, I've seen the place before and have seen quality babes shoot a porn there as well. I have had (and paid for) so called high end gals and will avoid doing so again. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I'm sure the entertainment will be a blast or at least it better be at $18,000. Earlier this year, My friend and I came close to going through with taking 5 of the hottest porn stars in the business to Rio for 5 days of sun and full intimacy on film and the price tag was around the same.
Have a great time and as usual take lots of pics.

Smit - I appreciate your incite and raised eyebrows on this. I guess it does seem over the top. I would however like to refer you to a few of my other reports. We have been doing this for some time now and I just became a CH member this year on the advise of a friend and fellow brotherhood member. We began sharing our experiences here this past year. In fact we had the pleasure of meeting a few fellow Hombres earlier this year in Sao Paulo, BRZ and just had a blast with them.
With regard to your financial questions......All the monies will be spent (as usual) and every brother (participant) knows what to expect at these parties.
I will offer a chapter in this report on the financials behind it. When you see the actual cost per person given the experience it has value in all of our eyes. You only live once my friend and if you can then why not indulge yourself.

Smit - I appreciate your incite
typo?
It is the level of transparency that I am interested in. The value proposition is a decision that an individual makes for himself.
Good luck on your event.

Very nice accommodations!
http://www.villa-castellamonte.com/
I looked at the site and saw no mention of our hobby - is it provided by the management? or do you bring in your own entertainment?
The Mrs. is going to Vancouver later this month to visit her family and I'll have the opportunity to travel for a week on my own. This certainly appears to be the place, especially if the ladies are included.
