The time has arrive yet again for the annual convention and initiation ceremony for three (3) neophytes into the brotherhood. This will be the introduction section of the upcoming event that will take place this year back in the Dominican Republic at a very special secluded retreat.

Being new to the Hombre site and having had the pleasure to meet several new CH friends over the past year on selected mongering trips, I thought it would be fun to fill in the report as chapters from the planning stages up to and including the event itself.

The event is scheduled for November 3rd through the 6th at a private "retreat" back down in the Dominican Republic. Why DR you ask? For it is the best place for us to bring in talent from all over the world, has the perfect setting for such a convention, is easy access for most of the brotherhood charter members and finally as chief coordinator of this year's ceremony.............It's my fucking call!!

The chapters that will follow will include introductions to the "The Setting" for the event, of course "The Talent Pool" for this years meeting, and of course a plan of scheduled events.

Obviously, the last chapter of this report will be the Initiation Ceremony itself and all that happened during those days in the DR. So, I hope you will hang around and enjoy the story.

I'm still in awe of the 40th birthday bash. Is this the same place? Another shout out to any Hombres in Rio for New Years. Trying to set up a New Years Party, and a Festa. I'll be there Dec. 22nd - Jan. 8th. Let me know if any of you will be around.

Turf, I think what got Ahora and maybe others confused is that it was tough to tell whether this was an introduction to a future trip report or not even though you spelled it out at the end of your post. Normally guys dont start a report for an even that hasnt happened yet, thus the confusion. No reason to get hostile and talk as if you are some sort of superior monger or anything. You are no better than the rest of us.

Thanks Blazer...guess I didn't set it up properly. Sent a email to support about writing "chapters" as some of the other hombres have done to correct the posting. we'll see how they respond. Didn't mean to flame anybody and my mongering trips are just like many others posted here although we may approach it differently with regard to our planning and entertainment.

Gr8ter! I thought you had returned to the states? God, I still think about our Sao Paulo swing a few months ago. Rio will happen in January or February. I'll keep you posted but I think that is when it works for most of the guys.

If anybody wants to offer some advise on how to post this multi-chapter report properly, please PM me and let me know. Quality is always a priority here.

i am still in the states unfortunately, will be in rio maybe around thanksgiving and definitely for new years/january, hope to catch up with you guys then (and read about your adventures in the near future).

Bah I need initiation, but I'm stuck in Iraq on duty. All I got is 10 years experience of the ladies where I had worked, hahaha.

I'll be back from Iraq by no later than February 2006 with 18 months of frustration. Look me up bros!
